    Nice womens shoe selection

Hit or miss on prices. They price based on the expertise of the brands and perceived value. Examples below: $4.99 designer purse which is $1-2k online used...looks legit. I didn't recognize the brand but my GF did. $44.99 well loved Disney Loungefly dog mini backpack $4.99 bagged stationary; Crayola & Rose Art are the same price $5.49 POGS; do kids know what these are? $8.99 Men's dress slacks $6.99 Boy's dress slacks $27.99 JCrew jacket x $19.99 Shein jacket $14.99 Disney fans (reg retail $19.99) $7.99 McDonalds Happy Meal toys All in all I would come back. The clothes don't have the typical smell or grimy feel most Salvation Armys do but I think it's just a different demographic donating here. Women's selection was great, lots of gently worn & decent prices. My youngest got a new putter for $3.49, I forget but it was a reputable brand. I also snagged a new with tags pair of boys slacks for $6.99. If you donate, you'll get a 20% coupon for your next shopping trip. Sweet cycle.

    Over priced books

The prices here are through the roof, thrifting should be for people who can't afford full price items. Books/decor/ bedding should not be 8-15 dollars. And don't even get me started on the clothing prices. Why are Target and fashion nova jeans 19.99.... Really sad. DO BETTER SAVERS.

    Rings at $4 a piece

This savers is a very big store ! Lots of clothes, toys, housewares ext... just lots of items. Some are reasonably priced while others are just very expensive. Also, you pay taxes here ! So I'm assuming it's a for profit thrift store. If you're looking for cheap clothes , then Salvation Army is cheaper. I like coming here for glasses, jewelry and miscellaneous items. Clothes I refuse to buy.

Another well kept deep neck silhouette find.

I hardly ever shop anywhere else now. I love their location in La Mirada and the newest one in Lakewood. Both locations will always have great finds and will always be clean and organized. When visiting, I time block my schedule at least 2 hours. Five stars all the way!

Aw, this Savers location only averages 2 stars. I found them to be A-OK! Have been to another Savers location in the South Bay a couple of years ago. Mom wanted to check this Lakewood location out. These folks are for-profit opposed to Goodwill thrift stores who are nonprofit. The Savers prices are significantly higher than items you would find at a Goodwill. Was amazed at how the clothing is organized by size. At other thrift stores, clothes are often not in size order. Store was clean and the employee at the self check out section was kind. I did get the cute, big Valentine's bear sitting on the couch! Mom scored an item that had an orange tag (sale color tag of the day) and got 50% off of 14.99. When mom and I are in Lakewood again, we're likely to stop by. 3 stars!

I finally was able to bring my step son here. His words? I love this place you need to take me back! He loved being able to find books of his liking. I loved the price! Love me some savers!

Several items were overpriced. Good luck staying in business .... Donated items should not cost more than the original price.

After not visiting for about six or seven months, I stopped in today and was honestly shocked. I found a pair of jeans with grease stains, holes in the knees, and obvious signs of wear priced at $29.98. At that price, I can go to Ross and buy a brand-new pair of Levi's for less. I also found a pair of shorts that I had personally donated to this store. I originally purchased them at another thrift store for $1.99, yet they were being resold here for $17. As someone who used to donate regularly, that experience really changed my perspective. I had brought in bags of clothing to donate today, but after seeing the prices, I decided to take them back. If donated items are going to be marked up this much, I'd rather donate them somewhere that keeps secondhand shopping affordable for the community. The whole point of shopping at a thrift store is to find affordable, secondhand clothing. Charging nearly $30 for damaged, used jeans completely defeats that purpose. It's disappointing to see a store that I once loved become so overpriced. I left empty-handed, which is something that never used to happen, and unless the pricing becomes more reasonable, I don't see myself coming back.

Parking can be a little struggle as it was pretty packed when we arrived. First off, right when I walked in I was greeted by the three amazing and very funny ladies. Especially the one behind the counter. She was a major hoot that we all got a laugh with. It makes the shopping experience way better. It's broken down into two different sides. The main being where there cashier is and the women's department. They also have a pretty massive selection with accessories, jewelry and shoes. Plus shoes were half off. The other section house more of the home wares stuff, trinkets, glassware, furniture, babies and men's. There were loads of dish ware. Its nice to see that the place was very neat and organized which is also a major plus when browsing through. Makes it more easy to pick something up without having to dig through piles. There's not a big selection for men and kids as it was mainly a little sections. But pretty extensive collection for chinas and crystals. Woman's had the entire section for clothing and accessories. The staff were all amazing and friendly. Such sweetheart and major dolls. Chatting with them was so fun. Found out that the money goes to different charities which makes the shopping experience more enjoyable knowing that you helped someways. I was glad to walk into a cute little shop.

Upon entering with my service animal, Jane informed me that dogs are not allowed in the store. When I told her that my dog is a service animal, she looked at me in disbelief and commented on how she wasn't wearing anything that indicated that she's a service animal. Legally, service animals do not need to wear vests or anything else that identifies them as service animals. She continued to say that dogs either had to be held in someone's arms or in a carrier, and since my dog is big, she's not allowed in the store since some people are afraid of bigger dogs. I clearly wasn't going to get through to Jane, so I asked to speak with the manager. Apparently the manager is on vacation. I asked for a number so I could contact her. She refused. In short: I didn't get a chance to peruse the store because both my dog and I were discriminated against. Me for my disability, and her for her size. Do better.

Located on PCH, just off of Redondo Ave, this business is easy to find. They have parking on the street in the front, if you're lucky enough to grab one of those spots. Or, they have a parking lot in the rear. You can also grab a spot along the side street, if that's your choice. Once inside, you'll find a well organized two level store. They have their clothing and records and household items downstairs. Upstairs, they have their books, their electronics, their furnishings, their artwork, and things along those lines. Right in the central area of the shop, they also have a pharmacy. Plus, very recently, they have moved their HIV testing area entrance to the second floor. Thus, a lot of people are frequently coming in and out of the store to get the medications and testing done. This is all provided as a service to the community. So, it doesn't take away from the shopping in any way, shape, or form, and hopefully adds to the greater health of the LBC community. The staff here are always super nice. If you need any help, they're happy to give it to you, In terms of donations, their area for providing that services is located in the rear of the shop. What you do is drive into the parking lot and pull around to the donation door which is associated with the main structure. They always have somebody on hand to help you unload anything you want to donate. So, it makes donating very easy. Overall, this is a great vintage shop. Again, you never know what you're going to find. You can grab that perfect gift for someone else or yourself. Or, you can go in there to get that unique piece of clothing or jewelry or book or LP. You just never know what you will find. Great shop!

The cynical staff parks in the so-called "customer parking" in the back of the store. Nothing in the store is worth a parking ticket plus the price. I went on a Wednesday and literally had no place to park in the lot but got blocked in by someone making a drop off. Everyone present acted as though they couldn't hear a word I was saying. Parking enforcement was writing tickets at curbside within 5 minutes of my arrival on the street right in front of the store. This looked routine. The number of people running the "Wellness Center" and the store staff are the ones who have parking here. One staffer laughed and said "You should complain". I say ---/Stop lying- BUYER BEWARE keep it pushing DON'T STOP HERE!!! If you do you'll pay 5 times more than a new item at a retail store when you include the parking ticket plus time.
