I have been to this location approx 3 times now- each for different problems with my vehicle…read more Three months after I moved to Cheyenne, my vehicle needed some repair work- I thought there was an issue with the transmission. I was dreading finding a new mechanic, I am a younger female and didn't want to find a mechanic shop that would take advantage of me due to my lack of knowledge in this field. I spoke with John and he said bring my vehicle in, we will look at it, and let you what is wrong with it. I received a phone call within the same day and thankfully it wasn't the transmission. John told me what was wrong, gave me a quote, and told me when to expect my vehicle to be done. Ultimately, I was charged the rate I was quoted (I believe it was $10 bucks cheaper) and my vehicle was done when he said it would be. When I paid my invoice, I was shown which part was faulty and was replaced. They didn't treat me like other mechanic shops have regarding being a "woman." Each visit has been pleasant. Every time they ask if I need a ride home or to pick up my vehicle, they have given appropriate quotes with prices and time frames, and they have always been friendly to deal with. The owner or one of the owners is named Chris, he looks over the vehicle and diagnosis the problem. He seems to be very knowledgeable. Hands down, I would recommend this mechanic shop to anyone.

My experience with Wreckers Towing was absolutely amazing! I was in an accident and they arrived…read morewithin 15 minutes to help me out. After I had given my information to the police officer, I mentioned to the tow truck driver that it seemed like the officer didn't believe I was driving the speed limit since the other car (that caused the accident) had some axle damage. The tow truck driver said that type of car was basically a p.o.s. and that kind of damage was pretty common when they were involved in accidents. He then went over and explained that to the police officer and told him that I was probably going within the speed limit. He and his guy then got my car loaded onto their truck and let me sit inside to get warm while the police finished up. I had been delivering groceries and told the Wreckers owner I wasn't sure what to do since I still had the groceries in the back of my car. He had his wife meet me at the tow lot location, where she helped me load the groceries into her car so I could return them to the store. After that she gave me a ride home since I had no one else I could call. If that's not going above and beyond for your customer, I don't know what is! Also, I was pretty shook up after the accident and all the way to the tow yard, the owner very calmly talked to me and got me back into a good state of mind. He was incredible! I really can't say enough good words about the owner and his wife. They are both amazing people and I'll never forget their kindness that day. They did nothing, and they didn't call me back as promised! So I drove over to Discount Tires and they calculated for me a generous refund without hesitation. Naturally, I purchased new tires from them as well. Not sure if Fat Boys is under new ownership, but they have turned out to be a real disappointment...and their appearance/demeanor just doesn't instill confidence. They have always fixed me up. Skilled mechanics, knowledgeable front office that's friendly and always have communicated with me all the way through the repairs. I've had work done on my diesel trucks, an Acura, and my Toyota. I've even had them work on my 78 Camaro that was a nightmare to diagnose. They chased down the problem and fixed it properly. 3 other shops failed to find the problem but they found it. Not only are they a family business but they've always listened and communicated so well. They have warranted several parts over the years no questions asked. From towing , technical repairs to gremlins on my classic car. These guys and gals deliver every time. They are a successful shop and they'll have cars stacked up out front and they motor thru the work. My vehicles have always gotten handled in an appropriate amount of time. Then justified charging "book rate" 6 hrs. labor, $150/hr, for a job he finished in 1.3 hrs. He ripped off 2 stranded senior citizen vets. People with masters degrees don't make $150/hr but he greedily steals double that by charging multiple customers for the same hours. I will be telling everyone we meet traveling around the country to avoid this immoral greedy thief. If he had any conscience he would refund the 4 hrs. of labor he stole from me. One day he will reep the consequences of ripping people off.
