I went with my sister for the Thursday night R&B Bingo, which is advertised to start at 8, however it actually started at 9. 2 stars is pretty generous and mainly for the bald DJ and the bang bang shrimp. I don't know the DJ's name but he was the shorter of the two, had a baseball cap and really did his thing. When my sister first arrived, no one was there to greet us and then when we were finally seated, it took a good ten minutes for the waitress to get over to us and it's not that big of a venue. We tried to wave over different waitresses and waiters but they ignored us. Then we saw a group of them just sitting in the corner smoking hookah, so that was a little irritating. The menus were outdated and a number of the things that we ordered, they didn't have. Needless to say, won't be back. read more

Savoy's is lit as hell. We went for the first time last week on a Wednesday and it was throwback karaoke night. They were in their jammin, DJ & host were on point. A lot of laughs and good reminiscing from the music. Only downfall is we tried going back twice but it's always way too full with zero seats. This was my first time here. Now we decided to get the rooftop experience. My opinion I think if you have guests on your rooftop you need to have everything to take care of your paying customers. I got sober in between drinks, and that is not a good impression for my first time coming here. You should have waitress up top that stay on rooftop to take care of guests. Will give them one more chance to see if they can get better. This is a bar. If I can't spend my money here I will try another bar. read more

My first time at the Savoy Bar and Grill LLC in Stockbridge GA. (Friday July 22nd) I don't normally venture this far south to hang out but it's for a friend's birthday party. And then time for the checks as we leave out, now we didn't sit in the reserved VIP section we sat at a separate table. We knew about the $4.95 "entertainment fee"..ok cool but they slapped a gratuity on the receipt as if we were sitting with the large VIP party. When that was questioned....the manager on duty came over & nothing but curse words spewed. He then walked to the friend who is having the party & told him "I don't give a flying fuk, escort them outta here!" I said goodbye to my DJ dude #DJDollaBill (doing the damn thang) & headed out the door. An awesome musical night turned into some FOOLISHNESS. Anybody in customer service should know how to handle situations with finesse. And my 20+ years of customer service experience taught me how to walk away from an irate customer. So that's what WE did...but he couldn't help but continue to curse & yell as we walked away & called my friend out of her name as we headed to our cars. I love the environment and the crowd... However, I don't like being forced to pay for an "entertainment fee". That's honestly not my responsibility, that's the clubs. What if you didn't enjoy the entertainment? They charge per person for the entertainment fee which is outrageous. I even tipped the entertainment tonight, and then I'm surprised by my bill. That's not cool! Inch opinion if a club books entertainment, THEY SHOULD BE THE ONES TO PAY FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT!!!!! This actually makes me think twice about coming here. Love love love this place!! Came here on a Sunday and stumbled upon a day party that turned into a live band open mic. Me and my boyfriend were driving by and saw people on the patio and decided to stop in for food. We had no idea what we were getting into. Apparently they have an event called "Soiree Sundaze" every Sunday. We walked in around 5PM. We saw they had a DJ outside with people playing games and asked to be seated outside. The DJ they had was great. They also had uno, cards, connect 4 etc. I ordered chicken wings and my boyfriend ordered the chicken tacos. They were both good. The sweet chili sauce on the tacos was awesome. Shortly after our food came we seen a live band setting up inside. We asked our waitress what was going on and that's when she explained to us about the Sunday event and they were about to begin the open mic. We moved inside shortly after and really enjoyed the live music. Although it was an open mic the singers and poets were great. We had no idea they did this on Sundays. Menu online looks great! But it's not accurate. My family and I wanted the rice bowl, but they don't carry rice at all I was told. I ordered a side of corn and potatoes, but was told upon arrival that they don't have any corn. My husband ordered fish tacos and shrimp tacos, which online it states you get 3 of each; he only received 2 fish tacos. As the menu states, I wanted my salmon lemon garlic.....but I was told I it eIther comes blackened or glazed, In which their glaze is just barbecue sauce and my salmon was over cooked. I have truly enjoyed Savoy since the inception close to a year ago (in Stockbridge). The atmosphere is very "adult grown and not looking for any drama". During our very 1st visit which happened to be my husband's adults I anniversary, the bartender created and named a drink "Anniversary" in our honor...Ever since that time, our friends and I have been "sold" on a good time at Savoy. Many times we visit to experience the mixology of the bartender and to listen to live music by the amazing various artist that have performed on Fridays. Several of our friends have had parties at Savoy and many local government officials have had gatherings that I have attended as well, again nothing but good vibes! read more

Love this place! I went tonight for the Poetry Cafe. Last month I went for my birthday . Enjoyed it both times. The entertainment from Sky Blue was definitely on point and so was the host and the poetry. The food and drinks were great too. I had the bang bang shrimp tacos, the chef bought them out to me as well as took my 2nd drink order. I had a blue drink that tasted like coconut which was delicious, and I had a drunk punch . The waitress was friendly but could have checked on me more. However , a good time was had. I'm sure to go back. Maybe next time I'll take the mic , I love to write poetry. Happy hour from 5-7 includes $5.00 drinks including margaritas, Long Island, sex on the beach, Amaretto or whiskey sour, a few different martinis, and Mai tai. They are having a networking meeting for "women on the move" this evening. I was very impressed by the grown and sexy environment ...plenty of men in suits plenty of women in business attire. This is a bar and hooka/shisha lounge first, with aspirations of serving food. While the service was nice, the food is overly salty and they seemed to be out of many things. Additionally, the menus were all sticky and the table we were at was very warn/seemed dirty. My only complaint was the 20% service fee automatically added to the bill. The menu boasted a 3 layer lava cake for $7. We received a small single layer cake with no ice cream which we sent back. We do a weekly ladies night and one of the ladies chose Savoy's. We actually met on a Wednesday night which is their karaoke and $10 crab leg night. We arrived around 7:30, the building was just starting to get full however by 8 830 the place was packed. With the amount of people in the bar and grill I expected service to be running slow however the waitress stayed on her job food came out hot drinks came out right. I ordered the crab legs with a side of potatoes and corn. The crab legs were seasoned 2 perfection the corn was on point and the potatoes were just right. I'm a Long Island Iced Tea kind of girl, but I want it to mix it up just a little bit not too much and I was explaining that to the bartender. She recommended what was called a Long Beach. It was pink tasted like the Long Island but with a sweeter twist to it maybe less bar mix I'm not quite sure how ever I drink two of them and wanted more. They were strong just like the Long Island's just sweeter so thank you bartender for an amazing recommendation of a drink. Karaoke night. Was just what you would expect from karaoke night there were a few people there who were quote unquote professional karaoke singers and there were even less who were just there to have fun and do karaoke the way it's supposed to be done. That didn't stop not one person in the building from having an amazing time. The Host kept things going he interacted he sang maybe a little bit too much towards the end but he was definitely entertaining. The DJ. One word okay maybe two awesome sauce!! He ultimately surprised me because he was mixing and scratching as if we were in the 80s it just took us all back definitely amazing DJ. Went on a Wednesday night for my moms birthday and karaoke. The vibe was chill at first but towards the later evening it got a lil turnt. My husband had the wings and he enjoyed them. I had the chicken tacos and they only give you like 4 pieces of little chicken cubes on each taco. The host was good, drinks were good and the prices were good. I requested a song from the Dj and he told me it was "grown and sexy" so he couldn't play the song yet you had people in there wearing casual clothes... and then he proceeds to play a current rap song so I'm confused as to why my song couldn't be played. We were staying at one of the nearby hotels when I checked yelp. The reviews were on target. The greeting upon entry was warm and sincere. Mild hip mysic in the background. Modern ambiance. Our server came over immediately. The menu had a nice range of American fare, fair prices. Only glitch, they had no white wine for my wife. No problem, my wife had a fruity sweet wine. Food was excellent. Both the owner Nick and GM Chris stopped over to check on everything. Both very personable. I've been here a few times but never on a Friday night. It was live! I enjoy the older crowd without young bucks without having to go all the way into downtown Atlanta. Very relaxed dress code but you need to wear a collar shirt on Fridays to be on the safe side. They have the band playing to a certain time then the DJ takes over. This joker was playing all the jams. From Freaknic days, Jodeci days, all the way to current. No drama, good drinks, and free cover change with plenty of parking. The crowd was pleasant, and you can find something on the menu to enjoy. A few things you may want to know- make reservations if you want to sit inside and hear the band. Further, there is a $5.00 per person added to your bill, if you do sit inside while band performing. There is an enclosed patio, heated nicely. No charge to sit there, but you cannot hear the band for the most part. The patio has its own played music. It says 8:30p the band starts, and by 10:00p when we left, they were just getting started. Further, why we left, is the outside enclosed patio, you are allowed to smoke cigars, and for us, the smoke was unbearable. So when the smokers took over, we left. read more

I fell in love with this place mostly because they were near home and the served hookah (FINALLY I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO THE CITY). Now the fact that they had good food and unique mixed drinks was definitely a plus. My favorite drink is Netflix and Chill (cute name). I don't know why my review was deleted but Yelp is making me review this business again! Very rude, went for a fight party and was TOLD to get up out of my seat for guest who paid more. This business will not last long. When I asked for the manager there was about 20 people claiming to be the owner! Total ridiculous and I will never return or advise anyone to go to this place, not even a DOG! I was not the only person told to get up, everyone was furious furious because we paid just not enough obviously! Made a visit to Savoy to celebrate my friend boss's birthday. It was a complete blast. There was a band there that was blazing called "Ace of Spades" I'm definitely a fan! The atmosphere was grown and sexy. Very good vibes. We reserved a table but when I visit on another occasion (which I definitely plan to) I would get there early it was a full house. The food was okay. I ordered the calamari and it was freshly cooked and priced reasonably at $9. So for the experience I give "5 stars". The folks that were with us were underwhelmed by the grilled tilapia tacos but everyone seemed to love the wings and fries. Until I taste another menu item I'll give then a solid 4. read more

So after ordering our drinks we still sat waiting for over 20 mins while people who came in after us have drinks and food. So our drinks come and of course my drink order is wrong! I kept the drink so I wouldn't have to wait again it was good and super strong. I probably won't be back and we haven't gotten our food yet. I try to support people of color but this is ridiculous. Anyways Dj po-po was really good and kept me entertained. The band was also really good and had the crowd going wild. Still after an hour wait no food!!!!!
