In addition we got several side orders including the collard greens, mac and cheese, cole slaw and potato wedges. Everything was solid. The ribs were well seasoned with a dry rub but also if you wanted you could add the sauce which was tangy and sweet but not overwhelming to the meat. The smoked wings also have a dry rub (possibly the same as the ribs). They were perfectly cooked and both flavorful and moist. They also tasted great with the sauce. Pulled chicken sandwich was also very good. Lightly sauced, but you get extra so you can get as messy as you like. Again, good flavor on the sauce with a nice twang and kick but sweet without being too much. The wedges were my favorite side as they had a little spice to them. The mac and cheese was solid but nothing special. Collards were fine though I actually like them a little less cooked (flavor was good though). Slaw was the vinegar kind which was perfect. Overall, would order again. For the price and production, it was worth it.

I ordered French fries, chicken wings, and cod for my hubby. I ordered Whitening, bass, 5 shrimp and onion rings. When I say the guy on the fryer OVER COOKED EVERY SINGLE ITEM! Their fish pieces are THIN so no need to fry them long because it makes the fish HARD AND DRIED OUT! The food was just BAD! Seeing that they took forever and a day to get me my order, why not cook it properly? I was in no hurry. My hubby and I got physically SICK from this food. I'm not sure if it was SPOILED or what, but we will NOT be back EVER! In case folks do not know, they charge 3% if you use a charge card. THIS IS ILLEGAL! Per the CC companies, NO MERCHANT is allowed to charge you a fee. YES THEY ARE CHARGED A FEE TO BE A MERCHANT FOR VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX ETC but they also know the rules. These stores WILL BE FINED WHEN REPORTED BY CUSTOMERS! If merchants cannot afford the fees by the CCs, then only take cash. So, I took pics of them posting the fee, and I WILL BE CALLING MY CC about the 3% fee. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

My friend and I ordered takeout from here around 7pm on a weekday (during a snow storm, so not many people there). My friend ordered a buffalo chicken waffle bowl (waffle fries, chopped fried chicken, and choice of sauce) for $14 and I ordered a fried chicken sandwich (lettuce, tomato, pickles, mild house sauce) with a side of waffle fries for $11. The guy at the counter was really helpful and let me try the spicy house sauce before deciding whether I'd go with spicy or mild. It wasn't extremely spicy, but I just decided to go with the mild. We also had a coupon for 5 free wings with any purchase, so I chose garlic parmesan. First impression was that there was a ton of food in the waffle bowl - definitely a great value! Generous amount of chicken and fries. My chicken sandwich was pretty small, but still not bad for $7. As for the taste: unfortunately, the chicken in the bowl and my sandwich were overcooked and dry. The wings barely had any sauce on them (a couple of them were literally barren, and those were especially dry). The chicken sandwich was okay, just run of the mill. The waffle fries were more chewy than crunchy. And the buffalo sauce on the chopped chicken had a good flavor, but the dryness worked against it. Honestly, we got the impression that this was Gordon Food Service food that was heated up. We were excited to try out a new restaurant, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. It wasn't really bad, but not a place I'd push to return to.

After seeing Blvd all over social media, I finally decided to check it out for myself. Their…read moreoverall theme is "Brunch, Lunch Vibes & Dinner," and the place seems to lean into being an all-day social hub. They host sports watch parties, karaoke, game nights, live music, DJs--basically something for every grown-folk crowd depending on the night. A friend and I stopped in on a Thursday after work for drinks and a quick meal, and there were quite a few things I appreciated about the visit. The first thing I noticed was the expanded space. They've taken over two storefronts in the strip mall and opened up the dividing wall, creating a much larger restaurant. There's ample seating, a private room, and enough room for larger events to happen without interrupting the regular dining flow. It's clearly set up to handle a lively crowd. The evening menu offers a good variety of options, along with a couple of clever specials. There's Vibe Hour from 4-7 pm with $7 happy hour items, and a Twilight Hour after 9 pm with $12 specials. I thought that was a smart, customer-friendly way to keep the energy going throughout the evening. Another interesting feature is their "drink exchange" menu, where prices fluctuate like a stock market. When the "market" drops, drinks are cheaper--and when it rises, the price goes up. I'm not sure what drives the fluctuation, but it's definitely a fun concept. For food, I ordered the chicken cobb salad and fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were solid, and the salad was actually delicious. They had run out of their regular lettuce and substituted spring mix--and honestly, that upgrade worked. From now on, I might start ordering my cobb salads that way on purpose. We also had Peach Bliss martinis from the happy hour menu, and they were very tasty. During the visit, we chatted with one of the owners, who was very personable, accommodating, and clearly focused on making sure guests had a good experience. He even showed us the additional space and mentioned that it's available for private event rentals. The bartender and waitstaff were friendly and attentive as well. Overall, I can easily see this being a regular after-work happy hour spot. It's close to my home, the prices were great, and the vibe felt easygoing. I'm definitely planning to go back--especially to check out brunch and their Twilight menu margarita madness. Parking is available in the shared strip mall lot, and the location is easy to find right on Northwestern Highway in Southfield.
