I then asked for a business card, and he claimed he had run out, even though I could clearly see a stack of cards on his desk. He asked me to leave my name and number and said he would call when a vehicle became available, but I never received a call. (500 Yonkers Ave location) The experience left me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a customer. I eventually went to New Jersey and purchased a 2024 Toyota Highlander instead, where the dealership treated me with professionalism, respect, and hospitality.

I found Hughes Motors Auto Repair as I was scrolling through hoping to find a good and possibly my…read morepermanent mechanic going forward as going through mechanics is a struggle I own an Alfa Romeo Stelvio so was hoping that at Hughes, they will service my car and which they did I got an oil change and a brake flush bringing in my own parts, now this was the first mechanic that required me to bring in an OEM oil filter which I found interesting to say the least but I had a good feeling so the next morning, went to get a OEM oil filter and went to Hughes. I have gotten lower estimates but I think I rather pay a little more knowing I'm in good hands and I think everyone can agree with that. Now, the staff was very welcoming and very nice so I was talking to the staff about lowering my car and doing other repairs in the future and they basically told me that I shouldn't and that a lot of mechanics will turn away modified cars due to their geometry and needing a special lift.. but I am still going to haha, I'm a little stubborn so hopefully they will still service my car in the future and be my permanent mechanic going forward! Extra things to note, they do have a waiting room and they offer things to eat and drink!

We are from NJ and I was a bit hesitant to travel to Yonkers to look at it but it was an easy ride and pleasant experience. From the moment we made first contact with their coordinator Rachelle, through our contact with the Sales Rep, it was smooth sailing. We paid cash and they did not upsell thousands of dollars to the price. They had a lot of nice/upscale cars on the lot, not old/beat up cars. They have a one bay detail and mechanic garage area on the lot so they serviced it before we drove it away. On the way home, no issues... car is rock solid and in fantastic condition! They sold my daughter a car at a rate of 25%. The kid asked what's an interest rate mean ? They said oh you just pay 25% more. They used some shady place called westlake financial which is an another mess with their crazy practice. I don't know how these people sleep at night knowing that they took advantage of young kids. Especially Alba Perletta the sales person. PS I only found out about this after my child was drowning in debt and almost ruining herself over this car. I would have never allowed it. They made it easy and appear that she was getting a good deal. All I can say is there is a special place in hell for people and businesses like this. Notice they have not responded! Also I saw the other review that a guy couldn't buy a car for cash because they wouldn't make money. Wow they are in bed with this shady financial place Westlake that charges 25% interest. I made appointments at an chain transmission location and the dealer's service center but they couldn't take the car until later in the week. I called Citywide and they said to bring it down whenever I could. They inspected the car and told me the issue was a corroded shift cable. After less than hour and a bill that was a fraction of what I expected to pay, I had my car back and it shifted like new. The service was fast, thorough, and affordable. They saved me frustration and lots of money. I highly recommend dealing with them.
