It was a pleasure to work with Denny, aside from the fact that he was and still is a friend of our daughters from high school. He & his team tore out carpet & tile from a home we purchased and installed 1900 sq ft of vinyl wood plank throughout. They did a fabulous job in four days and it looks beautiful! Also, Denny is the only one out of three possibles that explained that once the baseboards were removed and the new flooring installed the existing baseboards when reinstalled would more than likely sit lower than when originally put in. The others said they would remove & reinstall the existing baseboards but never mentioned that little fact. Denny's team removed existing baseboards and installed brand new, beautiful wider baseboards to take care of that problem and he still had a better price for the same product as the others. I went with Denny because I saw the 5 stars and the quote I got appeared to be really good. $100+ under what I received from a few others. When Denny came out, he was there for like 5 min. I was skeptical at first. We got to talking and things were going well-so I thought. I was quoted $300 for our kitchen. Come to find out it was for only 92 sq ft of our kitchen. But on the day of the job, it turned out to be $300 for 20 sq ft. Yep! I reached out to Denny looking to renegotiate the quote and was told he doesn't charge by the square feet (this was not clear) and he kept asking"Did you not agree to pay $300 for the job?" I said I agreed to 92 sq ft for $300. He said to take it up with the guy. I soon found out he had given the job to one of his employees as a side job and now wanted me to deal with him. Not cool. I could go on and on. I know everyone tries to do their best and in this case, I felt taken advantage of and I know others would not let this go if it happened to their mom or daughter. I could of easily told the guy I'm not paying since I never signed a contract or cancel my check. I could of been that person to mess with someone's lively hood but that's wrong and I was really disappointed how Denny handled the situation. Didn't even apologize-was very abrupt and had the attitude of business is business so I said fine and hung up on him. I work in a people business and when someone responds the way he did, there was no point in me continuing the conversation-I was wasting emotional energy. I don't know if anyone else felt like the got screwed over but I definitely did. I wasn't going to pull on jerk move on a guy who was told he could probably make an easy $300, especially since he had his daughter with him. I'm a believer in Karma so I didn't want to be "that person" just because someone didn't do right by me. Clearly there are people who have had good experiences with Denny and it's unfortunate that I didn't. read more

His crew came in and absolutely did a fantastic job. We went from old carpet from the previous homeowners to a new wood floor and it looks AMAZING!!! He did 2 rooms for us and we'll be using him for another 2 rooms. Don't waste your time hunting around, if you are here reading this, book him. Denny's crew just finished the 3rd job in my home. The first job was done 3 years ago and that was to convert all house carpet to laminate wood and I had just been in a motorcycle crash and could barely walk. They came in and were very respectful of my condition and did an amazing job. About a year ago I had him replace the carpet in 2 of the 3 bedrooms using the same exact material and again did an amazing job. We closed on a house in August and had SAWS rip out the carpet and install engineered hardwood pretty much everywhere on the ground floor and on the stairs. David was the lead on the three-man crew, and he clearly knew what he was doing, especially with regard to the stairs. The crew showed up on time, worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves. Even more important, the wood is absolutely beautiful. Denny showed up to check on the job more than once and he personally fixed a board that had a bit of a problem. We have used Saws flooring for two jobs in our home. Our first job was an emergency job. We had some flooding in our living room that extended into our dinning room and kitchen. We contacted Denny and he was out to our house within 30 minutes ripping up the carpet and getting heaters on the floor and walls to help dry the area out. Denny was extremely helpful in explaining what would be the best flooring for our home and lifestyle. We have a concrete slab, once our slab was dry enough Denny brought over some carpet so we could have some padding until our install.
