The employees were productive and helpful when looking for specific items. When I was ready to purchase my items, Joshua was friendly and courteous. I'm not sure when they moved to their 2 level shop on Main street, nor do I remember what was here before. Afterall, Gayle and I have been coming to Ashland every year (except COVID) since 2006. I found a nice short and nice fitting sleeve button down shirt for 40% off and a useful Fjällräven travel pouch. There was more to consider, but that will have to wait for the next trip or closer to a future ski season. Store staff were more than helpful in leading me onward.

They told me twice at the counter that we get 15%…read moreback when we use the card (too good to be true) and then again on a visit 4 days later, the same guy clarified that when we received the Card, we would get %5 off the purchase that we could use pretty fast and that the other 10% applied later somehow. It's on the Capital One website or in the paperwork that came with the card; it never mentions this 15% or other mysteriously applied 10%. The guy was a manager. We'd better get our $100 bucks as promised for using the card. Not worth it, stick to better cards.

I let him know of my search for binoculars and he did indeed escort me to the binocular display case, and called for another employee to take over who knew more about them, which I appreciated very much. The next day, I returned in search of another item, and he was on shift again. He assisted me, used his inventory gadget to look up merchandise, and let me know what was in stock. Thanks Kevin! The center portion has fishing lures and hunting gear and this is well organized. I got fairly distracted by the allure of the lures. The people working were nice and very conversational. This was local and not a fast stop but it felt comfortable and low key.
