I had an appointment for a grey blending at 9:30 am, but Andrea arrived at 10 am. I had been waiting for 30 min standing in front of the door. I had made it clear via texts that I wanted grey blending and that if they thought the hair was healthy enough, they could add some highlights. Instead, I received balayage, and the bleach was left on my hair for four hours. When I washed it, the bleached hair looked partially white, tangled, and many of the strands broke down and fell off. She then added a dark color to the roots and toner, basically covering up the highlights. Also, stain of color were left on face and forehead. Update after owner reply: The dark root was not done at my request -- that claim is completely false. I specifically asked Andrea for grey blending, which was not done. I also requested a lighter color on the roots, but she said it wouldn't look nice with the rest of my hair. Additionally, I asked both you (via text, which I still have) and Andrea to evaluate the condition of my hair before proceeding. If, as you stated, the hair was already so damaged, why did your team still move forward with such a harsh treatment? Maybe you want to take some responsibility for the poor quality of service provided, instead of placing the blame on the client. read more

First: access to the building is through the parking structure. I delayed coming in for so long because I wasn't sure how to enter. Second? This place is amazing! I love everything about it. Entering the salon is like moving from a portal to another world: after exiting a sterile elevator and walking down a nondescript hall, the salon is like an oasis suddenly emerging from a dessert. It's bright, modern, and welcoming. Everyone is super friendly, and Queen made me feel instantly at ease - so at ease I was about to ask her to give me a pixie. I have done this before and it does not work with with my facial structure, but she made me feel like maybe this time would be different. I did go for bangs, and they are exquisite: the length and shape are perfect. I could even style them by myself at home, which is a true test of how well a style goes. All in all, I'm very happy. I came for a much needed cut and style. I had the pleasure of receiving service from Erika. I usually don't know what to request when I get my hair cut so I trusted her judgement. I got layered cut with a blow out and I was so pleased with the overall service. For those who enter, you do have to take the elevator upstairs and it's a couple of doors down the hallway. The absolute best hair salon you could ever go to! The place is decorated so cute and comfy. They had snacks that kept my daughter happy while getting her hair done. My daughter got a haircut and some purple streaks in her hair for her birthday and I got a cut as well. I have never had such a thoroughly detailed haircut before, and the owner really brought my vision to life and gave me the exact bangs and layers I was looking for. I was also worried that a good amount of inches would have to be cut off because my hair felt really dead/fried at the ends, but somehow she restored the health of my hair and kept the majority of my length.
