PLAN TO BUY AND GO: Too small a space inside for seating and only enough outside for maybe a couple of seats, so this is a buy and take away format. ACCESSIBILITY: That I have posted 22 photos of this bakery since it opened in 2021 to now, it is evident that I am a fan of the offerings and also an avid supporter of mom-n-pop local businesses. But I am also a customer with disabilities and given the ADA will turn 36 years old this month, it is also an appropriate time to say why they seldom get my business anymore. It is all about the location's small parking lot with angled spaces and only one ADA compliant spot at the far end, near a hair salon, with often someone parking (illegally) in the striped access aisle. The only way for a wheelchair user to get up on to the walkway to get into the doors of the shops is through that access aisle and when it is blocked, so am I. For that reason, this good business has largely lost my business. Alas. CHECK HOURS BEFORE GOING: Usually open Thu - Sat from about 9A to 2P but sometimes closed if catering an out of town event so check before you go is a good idea.

I heard I completely missed out on their focaccia the day I went, which apparently is a mistake I need to correct immediately. I did try the croissants though, and honestly it's hard to find a truly good croissant around here without driving all the way to Janjou Pâtisserie -- and that place absolutely ruins you for croissants forever. One other thing worth noting: check their hours before you go because they're only open Thursday-Saturday. It's also a great little spot to grab packaged cookies or treats for gifts.

I have driven by this shop a million times but never got the chance to make it in. After checking out all their photos and goodies off their website, making my way in today was a must. The display case is nice and bright, allowing you to be able to see the details and coloring of each macaron. The pretty piping on the cheesecake. The fun layers of the cakes. It was hard not to want one of each thing out of the case. It was our first visit for my daughter and I. As a new customer, you're trying to absorb everything about this store. You want to look at all your options! The gal that initially was going to help us pretty much just stood there and stared at us. Didn't really talk to us. Didn't ask if we had any questions. She had the most unpleasant look on her face. It honestly made me feel so unwanted and uncomfortable to be at the shop. I offered to let another customer go ahead of us so she wasn't just standing there waiting for us to order something. The second customer also needed some time. Finally a gentleman came in and she got him some coffee started. Another gal was working and she helped us. Cookies and cream was much like cookies and cream ice cream. More cream forward and less chocolate cookie. Creme brulee had sugar toasted on top which created a slight bitterness to the cookie but it was balanced with how sweet the cookie was. All 6 macarons were fabulous! I look forward to having the red velvet cheesecake after dinner tonight. I like that there are so many gluten free options at this bakery. I adore how petite and prettily decorated the pastries were. I appreciate that this joint is local as I love supporting local businesses. But, first impressions are so huge for me and my first impression of their customer service wasn't there for me. You can push out great products all you want but how you make someone feel during their purchase can make or break your business. As fantastic as my macarons were, all I can think about was how uncomfortable I was when I was just being stared at. Macarons and cheesecake can be purchased at a few joints in our valley. I'm happy I got to enjoy some goodies with my daughter but I'm going to go support another local business that will actually make me feel like a valued customer and not a bother.

There was no offer to warm anything up, which would have helped at least a little. In my opinion, if a place is only open three days a week and caters to a limited window, the baked goods should be exceptionally fresh and worth the hype and trek. These felt more like yesterday's leftovers than anything made that morning. Disappointing experience overall--we won't be back. We have no issue driving to Boise for good food but this was not worth the drive. Wasted $16 plus tip for nothing good.
