Super sweet server & atmosphere seems cool. Now the food was not good. I order ceviche, beef fajitas, a Paloma, and classic margaritas. The ceviche was not flavorful & fajitas were chewy. The Paloma tasted like straight up water! I swear they water down their alcohol. Even asked to remake it and tasted the same. Margarita was sweet af and not good. All that for $100 was a joke. Oh and be sure to read the very small print at the bottom because they add %20 gratuity which okay whatever but a $4 charger for credit cards is crazy lmao. They also tried to charge me $20 for parking!? Idk this place seems sketchy af. Probably because their targeted customers are the drunk people at the near bars. Don't recommend. I won't be back. Margarita was just okay.. Didn't taste like there was anything in it. which could or could not be a good thing . The green chicken enchilada verde was very yummy!! I would definitely get that again. Beans and rice were just okay but did the job. Service wasn't amazing but it was late around 9 pm . The music was super loud which i hated because i couldn't hear my friend i was with . Parking lot isn't even pavement. outside seating is the best as it was hot inside restaurant. I was impressed by the chips and salsa! We stopped here because we were nearby for an event. It's really more of a bar with food, but the food was pretty good. I'm doing 75 hard so can't speak to the drinks, but they seemed to have a good selection. Service was friendly. Overall, it didn't wow me enough to intentionally travel to come back to, but can make for a nice stop if you're in the area. read more

Say No Mas is exactly what 20th Street needed, bringing Tex-Mex flavors and a fun, open air bar the heights area. Unlike many of the neighboring bars on this street, Say No Mas stays true to its identity with several tequila, mezcal and licor 43 forward house cocktails. The large half circle bar under a lofted pergola feels a like a vacation escape and is great spot to people watch bar goers on a Friday night. While 20th Street always feels pretty young, a bouncer checks IDs on entrance. I didn't try any food this evening but I'm excited to see where this place goes. read more

I spoke to waiter today and the tacos that were priced at $13.95 on the menu were up-charged 4 dollars for chicken even though it said it was cumulatively $13.95 with chicken. The waiter said "I don't know what to say man, that's how management price's them I don't know what to tell you." I also have not waited this long to go out to eat in a long time. It was very long wait to get the ticket and was very hot inside. Gratuity is also mandatorily included, even though the waiter re-asked me what I ordered at the end of the meal. After a LONG drive from Tampa we needed exactly what this place offered. A casual, atmosphere with attention to every detail of our dinner experience. Diego was not only attentive and friendly and brought his special touch to our selections including a "from the back" salsa picante that perfectly complemented the best ceviche I've ever tasted! (Loaded with fish). I was so happy with my Sandi's Crush cocktail ... refreshing but not too sweet. And my shrimp quesadillas were more cheese and big chunks of shrimp than tortilla! Delicious. My husband devoured the steak fajitas and said the guacamole was beyond fresh and delicious too. This will be our GO TO any time we're in Houston. This place is down the street from me, and I would never have known. While I wasn't present to see how they fare in busy settings, I was pleased with the quick, quiet night experience. Candidly, my love for TexMex is the salsa. I must say I absolutely loved both of their salsas. This might be a deciding factor for me, but I know it's not for many others. It was quiet, seemed like a good vibe. My partner and I were the only ones there. The experience overall would have been five stars except for the closeout. I echo the same issues others have brought about regarding overcharging. We each had two Topo Chicos. I had a beef taco salad, and she had chicken quesadillas. Nothing out of the ordinary and no special service. For simplicity and in good faith, I offered my card at the end without checking the bill. It's a habit to foster trust and smooth the closeout since I maintain compassion and respect for service staff. Two Critical Issues First: The total apparently came out to about $65. There were hidden charges totaling about $15-$20 added to what the amount should have been. A mistake I might consider and let slide, but not after reading the other reviews. This is technically illegal, fraudulent activity. Second: They added gratuity. Why? It was two of us on a single bill. The gratuity was also greater than 15% which wouldn't be an issue if it were my choice, and more than 15% is commonplace when it's a choice. Gratuity is at the customer's discretion, and any policies regarding added gratuity must be disclosed as a menu disclaimer. None was present. It was unjustified, and there were no services or special efforts that warranted anything out of the ordinary. To include a gratuity like this frames the action as a deliberate, targeted attempt to commit fraud. It was premeditated. These are red flags. I don't know if it's the establishment or the specific person. However, I hope this is investigated. read more

Worst service and worst food I've had in Houston, and I've lived for 23 years. I just wanted a quick bite after a football game. It took 35 minutes for the food to come out (we were the only people in the restaurant). The queso tasted like it came from a jar, my Al pastor tacos were cold, they never put our drink order in, they got most of the parties food wrong, the lights kept going from dim to bright, and the waitress wasn't even apologetic about any of the mistakes. This is by far the worst restaurant experience i have ever had. Bar none by far no contest do not eat here. Bad. Do. Not. Go. Here. They didn't even give napkins or water.
