Where do I start? The only place I'll only go karting at again!! First off, the staff! The staff is super friendly and amazing! From walking in, to getting geared up! The fact that the staff is amazing just makes it 100x better!! The track layout is awesome! If you've never been to SB Raceway...HIGHLY recommend going. Buy the membership, races carry over!! You been cosmic bowling before right? But how about cosmic karting?! Been plenty of times during the day, and had to experience the cosmic night once and for all!! Had a great time!!! Went this Friday in the evening, my second time coming. Not much of a racer but staff was so inviting it made the whole experience very comfortable. On the track Jose and his Co worker were nice and helped me pick out the proper helmet size. Those at the register were also very nice. Will be returning soon with more friends. My wife and I had the best time racing here on our day away from our child. The service was super friendly, the place was clean and the cars were fast. I did have one break down on my before the first race but they were quick to get me into a new one that was super fast. Again, we had a blast and will be back. Went to sb speedway a week ago and me and my family got treated unfairly.. We went in there to have a good time but the employee Erica was giving attitude and telling are party to shut up .. it was unfair for my family since we were talking to each other . Both the employee did not have mask and were not cautious of disinfecting the helmets . I ask to speak to manager and that's wen Alissa came and was rider then the first person.. if u guys want to deal with good customer service go to k1 and spend a few more bucks read more

Looking for a place to take the kids go karting while we were in the area, and found a few places. Decided to try out SB Racing and we were NOT disappointed. We went early on a Wednesday and had no trouble getting karts as expected, but the kids had a blast and became super competitive. Talking about racing lines and braking points on the track ... who are these kids? The place was very clean and staff was very friendly and professional. I know there are other tracks in the area, but we will be back here when we are back in the San Bernardino area - great place! read more

Worst Go-Kart facility i have ever been to. I drove all the way from Los Angeles to come here. I called early in the day and ask the prices for that day....I spoke to the manager and he said "5 racer for $50". I bring my own helmet and equipment, and when I get there the "Kids" who ran the place said that they would not honor that price and it would be $20 per race. When I asked for the manager they were extremely rude, and would not let me speak to the manager. The facility did not have proper safety equipment and the helmets did not even have screens to cover your eyes. Don't waste your time here. It's the staff is HORRIBLE and will lie to try and sell you on more expensive racing. I go karting at least 5-6 times a month....and I will NEVER come back here. K1 in Ontario had a much better facility and better staff. I will never come back here. read more

Came here for a group event-The staff was really nice and friendly. They answered the questions and concerns for everyone quickly. The place itself is about a 6 on a 10 scale. The Bad: The fumes inside the track can get to you after awhile. The karts are gas, so that is to be expected. The head stocking caps come in different sizes-Some are really tight and some fit, you may go through a few to find the right one. The cars were a bit "ratty" compared to K1 and pole position. They had a mix of "slow" cars and "fast" cars. The slow cars were slow. I had a slow car and was being lapped by everyone. In the other races, I had a fast car. The Good They explained alter how they rank. It is not on overall time, but BEST LAP that determines winner of a race. Lots of straight-aways and passing opportunities. It would be nice to know beforehand if it is a slow car or a fast car. We found out later that one can request a fast, slow, or 2 driver car. Have fun and enjoy. Great team building idea. read more

I went to SB Raceway for the first time tonight, and I am already a huge fan. The karts are new and are well maintained, which maximizes consistency and minimizes the chance of getting a dud. They have two types of karts: a 6.5 hp regular kart, and a 9 hp VIP kart. The track is about as technical as an indoor track can get, with a good mix of hairpins, medium and high speed corners. I went on a Thursday for Happy Hour, so each session was $10. With the help of the employees, who gave me some key pointers on the fastest way to drive the course, I was able to break the 30.25 qualifying time on my second try. On Thursdays, you get to drive a VIP kart even if you qualify just once! (Normally you need to run 5 separate sessions with a qualifying time to become a VIP member to be able to drive a VIP kart.) So for $10, I got to drive the 9 hp VIP kart. I can't even fathom any other place where you get to drive a 9 hp gasoline powered kart for $10 a session. If you know of one, please share! I love the 9 hp kart, as you can now actually maintain some slip angle through corners. The only downside is that there is no live scoreboard that gives you up-to-date fast lap information. But for $10, I'm not complaining! I am definitely impressed, and will try to earn VIP status, and perhaps even look into their racing leagues on Tuesdays. GG, SB Raceway. GG. read more

Brought my 2 boys here on a Saturday night. This place is pretty cool. It's a little pricey. For both my boys to participate in 3 races each one is 10mins long it was $108. It was about $48 for 3 10min races then we had to pay $6 for a race card that's good for 1 year. If can save some money if you use a groupon. But the groupon not valid in the weekends of course. Safety first!! I like a place that emphasizes safety and is well organized especially if you're zooming by in mini race cars at 40mph. They make you watch a video before your drive so that you're familiar with the rules and regulations. You are also given a helmet sock to wear under your helmet so u don't have to worry about the germies of the people before you. Once strapped in get ready for some twisty turning fun. I think they put the girls in the front cars so they get a head start on the track as girls tend to be less aggressive drivers than boys and most likely it was a boy's idea to come to a place like this in the first place. I apparently am a natural at the race car thing, which is amusing and surprising because I am often made fun of for sitting too upright and close to my steering wheel when I'm driving my normal car. Old lady status. With the safety precautions in place you can bump and push your way through and speed past friends for a fun filled ten minutes(Appox). Unleash your inner speed racer. Came here with the Fam on Wednesday Sept 18th. We had the Groupon Deal and it does state that you must purchase the voucher a minimum of 24 hours before and it is only good Mon-Thur. AND THEY DO CHECK IT! It was my Daughters first time driving go karts. They had done Boomers before but this is nothing like it, much faster and funner! Again we came on a Wednesday round 330 pm so it was pretty slow, which was a good thing for us. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the friendly young lady at the counter. Let her know we had the groupon, she asked when we purchased it, went ahead and checked and redeemed it, we did need to pay an additional $7 a person for the license , but again it did state this on the groupon , and the license is good for a year,The group on deal includes the head sock, which is great, $2 value. After we completed the License form we entered the Viewing Room so we could see a safety video, once the video was finished, we picked out our helmet and entered the raceway. The guys explained everything very efficiently and the good thing it was only my family of 4 on the track so it was perfect. First time here. Took a coworker here for his birthday. We had the whole course to ourselves and had a blast. We raced 3 times, 10 minutes each. First race we did 18 laps, seconds race we did 22 laps, and third race we did 23 laps. The karts are gas power. Way more fun than electric. We tried a total of 6 different karts between us and they all worked well. Only problem was the seat adjustment did not work because they misplaced the tool. But the pedals shifted up and down so that compensated for the seat adjustment. There's also fully stocked vending machines, and several arcade games to keep yourself busy during the rest between races. The facility was also very clean. A++ for cleanliness. There's a lot of potential in this business. However, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Granted, most of the employees are young adults, they could be more attentive and enthusiastic about your visit. Please and thank you goes along way especially when you are asking for money. Also, customers have ears, just in case the employees were wondering if I could hear their gossip. Also they only gave us 1 time sheet for each race. They should give one to each racer. Overall, we had fun. I hope the owners can improve the customer service but I will definitely be back. Great place for all sorts of occasions. They also have cosmic racing. Can't wait to try that. Tips: use the yelp coupon It's right off the Waterman exit on the 10 but it's way behind Camping World. You will be lost for about 30 seconds but keep following your racing instincts all the way to the back. You have to create a driver's card. It costs a few dollars. Recently had my sons birthday here, I purchased the coupon through Yelp but was told it was not valid for birthdays. It said nothing on the voucher about excluding birthday packages. Also, one of the air hockey tables ate my guests money and didn't work. We were told there was nothing that could be done from the employee, no refund or a free game. When the party was over, I told the employees we were leaving she said "oh hold on, you get a shirt and medal". This place could really use some customer service training. read more

Overpriced in my opinion , called on a sat asked if there was a wait lady on the phone said about half an hour . We showed up 10min later and the place was empty like dead . I don't see why they would lie lol . Asked about prices and there is one time " license " bs fee . $6 per person and it's good for a year in my opinion that good for people who are going to return it shouldn't be offered to people that probably won't be going all year . Today I went to this establishment for the first time. I was hosting a homeschool event for my two children. I have a service animal. He goes with me everywhere. His job is to distract and help me during panic attacks. I was greeted with "We don't allow pets here." I responded that he is a service animal. I was then asked for papers to which I replied, you're not legally supposed to ask me that. After filling out waivers another clerk comes out to tell me the owner wants me to move to a designated area immediately. I was told I could not be in the front area and was demanded to move immediately. After I replied that it was not legal to single me out and make me go to an area per the owners request and that I would be accompanying the group I was with. She kept telling me it's what the owner wanted. A man came out who seemed to be eavesdropping. I asked if he was the manager to which he replied, "not really but by default." I mentioned that it was not legal to ask me to move to an area with my service animal. He went to speak with the owner and the next thing I know there's a security guard standing a ft away from me telling me "you can stay but your dog cannot." "Put him in your car." By this time I'm having a panic attack and visibly upset. I asked the man to move away from me please. He said "Move away from you?" And moved closer. I felt as if he was going to physically escort me out. With my children watching. Other moms and their children there. I got up and went over to the office to address the owner. I was told my "pet" could not be there. I said several times my dog was a service animal not just my pet. He refused to hear me, told me to bring an attorney and again the security guard looked as if he was going to get physical with me. A woman and mother. To protect myself, my children and my service dog I left. This is completely unacceptable and illegal. I've never been treated in such a way my entire life. I will not return to this establishment and I will be sure to let everyone I know including the ADA legal of my experience. read more

Just came to have some fun with the kids! Was gonna go to K1 Speed but our cousin told us of a new place in San Bernardino. So glad we decided to go try it out!The staff was so friendly and helpful. The cars were faster, the place was clean, cool, and didn't smell like fuel like the other place. I liked that they put the brace support around the neck for the kids and the shoulder pad so the seat belt wouldn't rub (the other place didn't). It really helped keep the helmet in place. The other place never offered us anything like that. The karts had adjustable seats and pedals which was beneficial since my husband is tall and the kids are on the shorter side. The staff let us choose what place we started in and also gave the kids good pointers on how to get better and not bump the rails. They even have faster cars you can ride if your pace is consistent. One of the best karting places I've been to in really long time. Really nice track and pretty decent gas karts as well. Not much passing room but that'll be the same anywhere you go... The karts are near equal in performance and it's possible to get a quick lap time. They handle great but acceleration is a bit delayed when comparing to an electric kart (obviously) but still a lot of fun. Most importantly they're well maintained!!! Much better than most other places for sure. The staff is small in numbers yet accommodating and professional just be patient. I'll definitely come back when I get he chance. read more

If you ever contemplate coming here, please do yourself a favor and drive a little bit further to K1 speed. I have never seen unprofessionalism on the level I saw tonight. A young kid crashed a cart into the wall damaging the bumper rail a little bit. Following the crash they tell all the customers waiting that their race will be delayed by an hour then go on to disappear in the back room for 30 minutes, leading customers to talk amongst themselves and come to the conclusion that they were smoking a bowl. After returning it became clear these guys were not mechanically inclined, taking them an hour to drill a few holes. The fact that they were stoned probably didn't help either. Finally, when the repairs were complete predator dreads and another worthless employee were switching off in the VIP cart to do 10+ laps with nobody else on the track while customers watched from the waiting area. Then, to top it all off when the race starts an employee hops on the cart with greater horsepower ands rams customers off the track to make passes. They drove great actually, it's almost seems like they've been driving on that track every day for the last year! LOL. The employees here better win the lottery cause they will amount to nothing in life and I say that with 100% confidence. Don't even respond to my review, I will never be back and you will never make changes so let's stop wasting time. read more

Unfortunately had a bad night with my friends at SB Raceway. There is clearly a buddy buddy/friend of a friend situation occurring here and it's disappointing. Staff was driving amongst the patrons and are intentionally being aggressive on the track/ I personally was pushed around on the track by a shorter Hispanic male and he had occasionally intentionally hit me many times. I got over that because whatever it's go-karts and just decided to take less aggressive lines and wave people on when they were cutting inside me. then on our second run, a darker skin male with long dreadlocks who was stated to be a "long time customer" named Germaine decided to get aggressive and was bullying many drivers on the track. Upon exiting the track, this person then proceeded to go and threaten to beat up my friend over something as silly as go-karts. The staff did nothing to deescalate this situation and when speaking with the manager (who was that shorter Hispanic male I mentioned prior) essentially said he couldn't help due to the individual's long-term status in the track. Not to mention that staff and Germaine were not wearing masks at all which is a violation of the COVID-19 restrictions. I will be reporting this to the County of San Bernardino as this a violation of the rules we all have to follow as individuals during this pandemic. Whether Germaine is a long-term customer or an employee that was being covered for by other staff, does not excuse his behavior and does not excuse SB Raceway's complacency. read more

I left and decided to try SB Raceway...should've been my first stop! The lines were shorter..the staff was friendly..and my son said he had one of the best days of his life!
