I am from Vegas and there really isn't any good eyebrow techs. I came across Jonathan's insta. I became obsessed with his work. I made the deposit. I made the apt for a Saturday morning. I flew in on a Friday with JSX and stayed with a friend. Saturday morning came, I was so nervous. I am supperrrrr picky but Jonathan was pickier for the both of us. Not only is a perfectionist, he just has a really good energy around him (you always want someone with good energy to work on you). He numbed me perfectly. The level pain wasn't even a "1" and I have the worse pain tolerance known to man. Afterwards Jonathan gave me all the aftercare info and confirmed I understood everything. Johnathan was so kind, thoughtful, truly listened to me and put me at easy about the process. He's been in this business for a long time and very apparently cares about his work. He listened to my needs and delivered on the focus I wanted on a natural brow and he has multiple checkpoints throughout to ensure you like the shape. I absolutely love how they're look, he truly took his time in his work and was such a calming and confident presence. I'm excited to go back for my touch up in January. There's parking in the building (instructions in confirmation) and then the business entrance is outside on the street. The inside was super cute, and clean/organized. There was also the cutest puppet inside to greet people as they left. Price point was a bit on the higher end of some other places I had looked at, but I truly believe you pay for the quality you get and this is not something I'd recommend you skimp on if you want a good microblading experience!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and seated right away. The salon had cute decor, and while it wasn't overly busy, there were still a good number of customers inside. I was short on time, so I just wanted a simple gel manicure and hoped to be in and out. The nail technician who helped me was sweet and nice. I mentioned that I'd been standing outside in the sun waiting to get seated at One Piece Cafe, and she kindly offered me a bottle of water. I chose a bright orange shade that's perfect for summer, and I was finished in about 30 minutes. The salon was clean, and my manicure was done very neatly, which I loved. I paid about $45 plus tip for a basic gel manicure. I usually get acrylics, and that's almost what I pay for a fill at my regular salon. That said, the quality of the work and the excellent service made it worth it, so I really didn't mind. they got me done just in time to head back next door for my table! I needed a haircut pretty badly as I was rocking a quarantine mane and the added weight was not doing it for me. Salon calico is nestled in an unassuming building of warehouse converted studio spaces. You must text the owner in order to enter the building: there is no front entrance. They are just beginning operations (less than 2 weeks old) so the space is a bit empty. But combined with the owners husband's photography and some really cool salon furniture they are bound to have a boutique and beautiful studio in the coming weeks. Olivia, the owner, is so friendly and coffee/other beverages will be offered upon arrival. (Ask her about her talent for accents ) She'll walk you through the process and discuss what kind of look you're going for. I kind of left it in her hands as I needed a change. She brought up a perfect inspiration picture and created the look with my own natural flair and features. Couldn't be more happy and will be returning.
