This place has great food. The salads do not disappoint. Located a few blocks off TJ Main Street across dim the military museum. The decor is beautiful.

I was truly impressed by this place! The duck was the best I've had since Paris, and the cherry glaze was a heavenly touch. Amazing quality food.

I love this place, this so my new favorite gourmet restaurant ... my husband got me here to make up for the horrible food the night before at Chianti. The experience was like day and night. From the moment you walk in you can't help yourself from noticing the vivid decor. Every turn of head catches your attention. The coat hanger, peppermint caddy, lamp shades bar chair table tops wall decor all so beautiful. Artist: sticks, check out his website. We came here during restaurant week. We had the beat salad with poached pears and candied walnuts... so good!! My favorite though was the entree...pistachio crusted salmon... the crust on it was to die for. And dessert was chocolate cheesecake with a berry compote... was ok! But it was definitely a great deal $35 and an opportunity to try their food. I will definitely be back here again.

Had seen the good reviews and decided to try this place out for dinner while in town. Service was excellent. Food was very good. I had the sea bass over pistachio and dried cranberries risotto and it was absolutely delicious! My husband had the beef and it was cooked to his liking . He did not think the mashed potatoes were that great and that the carrots were not cooked that well. The naan was delicious. The salad was very good, just wish the dressing had been out on the side. Also tried the carrot cake and it was delicious. Overall a great meal!

Another restaurant visit during the Saratoga restaurant week. The restaurant is in the heart of downtown Saratoga which drives a lot of traffic and when you serve with good food.....people would feel like coming back like I plan to and was told by my wife we are coming back every alternate week. Though her imagination and ideas run wild let's step into the real world. My son (9 year old) is a picky eater who prefers eating home cooked food and doesn't like ice cream or Chocolate and he said the food was good, what can I say....other than praise the restaurant and chef. We has a 3 course meal which included a beet and goat cheese salad with poached pears for the first course, pistachio crusted salmon with wild rice and asparagus for the main entree which was my favorite and chocolate cheese cake for the dessert. My son had a chicken wrap with stuffed wild rice and chips on the side. Like their wall says.....people who love to eat are always the best people and the best people come back for some great food. The restaurant has eclectic charm and character becsuse if the art (sticks.com) making it apt for a date night or a dinner with family or friends. Look forward to a second visit.

The rain has stopped and friend and I ventured out to lunch. Scallions was on our list as a place to try. That being said, it was delicious. The restaurant is located on Lake Avenue in Saratoga. It does have it's own parking lot, however, it only permits a half dozen cars to park with ease. (There are other spots in the lots for other companies.) We ended up parking in a public lot a block away. The lunch menu is small but offers sufficient number of choices for lunch. It did have a few appetizers, but we did not opt to order one at this time. Also offered were a few special cocktails and a beer list. Friend selected a fruit laden sangria, I had the Blueberry Vodka Lemonade. (I prefer drinks much sweeter than the lemonade but it was good.) Friend and I both ordered the duck salad. It was an excellent choice. The "Citrus Duck Salad" was fresh, topped with a warm confit duck leg on a bed of spinach. (I requested a mix of the baby spinach and romaine. Friend went with the salad as is.) The salad also included dried cranberries, orange segments, pecans, and goat cheese with a sweet poppyseed dressing. Waitress offered a side of a baguette or a piece of naan; for an additional charge. (Just an FYI.) Truth be told, I normally leave a few pieces of unwanted salad tidbits I find unpalatable. This was not the case with this salad. (I did leave a tiny tiny piece of romaine heart and the duck cartillege.) Then dessert was offered which, unfortunately was declined since I had finished off the salad.... and the baguette.... and the drink. Hours later, I am still quite satisfied. Just delectable! The restaurant is decorated with eclectic art pieces. (Fish made from kitchen tools, statues made from discarded pieces of tree, clock made from a table top...) The staff were attentive and the food was quite good! I am looking forward to my next visit since the menu has much to offer.

Upon walking in the host and servers were super nice and we were seated promptly. The space itself is super nice! Not crowded at all but definitely means you should make a reservation as they are super popular! Food was amazing! DO NOT MISS THE ROLLS! I'd come back just for the rolls, they were so soft, fluffy, and light with the perfect flaky salt on top to balance with the whipped honey butter. Delicious! Everything else was also great, the hanger steak is also tender and loved the hash that came with it and the crab spaghetti had ample crab meat in it. Presentation was gorgeous. Love the seasonal menus and you really can't go wrong with anything here. We skipped out on dessert but I'm sure there's great options too. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

Ordered beverages (coffee), then lunch, basic order, grilled cheese, omelet, funky short ribs with eggs and potatoes, fruit for the child. Tables around us start to fill up. In the 50 minutes that passed until we got our food two tables that sat 15-20 minutes after us were served their food. The waitress never came to our table, walked by a few times, no refresh on coffee, no status of obviously delayed food, nothing. I flagged her down and believe it or not I was met with attitude. She said she would check the status. She then stood at her station, 10 minutes pass, she is walking by heading to the patio, I say to her what is status, she says she hasn't checked yet. I ask for the manager. She never returned to our table for the remainder of the service. The most arrogant untrained and unprofessional server I have ever dealt with, and that is saying a lot. My daughter had to leave before the food was served, she and the baby left. Now let's get to the food. Maybe sat under some lamps, overcooked, dry, no flavor. The short rib, egg and potato dish was not fit to be served. Grilled cheese rated a 2, Comptons, a diner across the street is ten times better. Manager, tried to be professional and dropped off a gift card . $25 for a 115 dollar tab one hour plus wait for terrible food and bad attitude. I left the gift card for the waitress. I feel like I should have done more to make it right. I do not get the positve reviews. I ate here twice, both meals were terrible. I hope they read this review then reassign the server to cleaning and dishwashing and maybe provide some training to the staff. This frequent Saratoga local will not go back. A problem in SS is our success allows for bad food and terrible service providers to stay in business.

When our waiter came to take our drink orders, I asked if the specialty lattes that were available at Mrs. London's Bakery, which is attached to the restaurant, and I was told no. I think having specialty drinks from Mrs. London's would really elevate their brunch experience. Just my two cents! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I tried the asparagus and mushroom omelet, which came with home fries, and really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend making reservations if you're visiting on a Saturday or Sunday, and don't forget to grab some pastries to go from Mrs. London's on your way out!

The remaining slices were essentially on the darker side of well-done, almost burnt ends. For a restaurant positioned as an upscale dining destination on Broadway in Saratoga Springs, I expected much better. The service started out excellent, but unfortunately declined as the meal went on. By the end of the evening, we felt largely forgotten.
