Updating this review to 1 star. I would give them 0.5 stars if there was an option. We paid extra for the upgraded concrete mix to prevent the concrete chipping from occurring. It hasn't even been 2 years and there's signs of chipping. Not great value and a huge disappointment. They also don't respond back when contacted. The only time they are responsive is when they need to collect payment. Stay away and save your money! read more

When getting ready to redo our driveway changing it from blacktop to concrete, we asked neighbors on our street for recommendations. Their driveways were more than 10 years old and they still look great. They gave us Tony's phone number and we are grateful they did. From the first visit we felt Tony would do an excellent job for us. We had an unlevel, cracked, ugly asphalt driveway and a one-step stoop that was so high, it was scary to step down from. The melted snow ran from the driveway into our garage...that is how much higher our old blacktop driveway was. Tony envisioned a stoop with two steps for safety and esthetics and proposed the idea to us. Obviously, we loved it. Tony was there answering every question, helping us choose materials and always replied to us within 12 hours, which we found completely acceptable. So we signed up! Then the work started and we were equally impressed with John who did all the supervision of their concrete team. We loved to see John working along side the crew, riding the machinery and the pleasant way he treated their workers. Scaravalle was careful not to pour concrete on days that were too hot for proper curing. The pricing was not cheap, but it was FAIR. We received exactly what we wanted, feel we received a quality job and could not be happier with the outcome! We trust our driveway will look as nice as the neighbor's 10 years down the road. Recommendations, whether they be from a neighbor or from a satisfied customer, are important and I would never leave a positive review if I didn't have a positive experience. We had done work with this company before in the past for one of our real estate properties and they left the wood molds in place for more than six months... I decided to use them for a small job in my house. First I had to keep asking them to give me a date to do the project and it took them 5 months to finally let me know they will begin. Their craftsmanship is still in question since it hasn't been a sufficient amount of time since they finished, so I will have to come back for another review on that subject later. The biggest issue is that they came did the job and left leaving me with a destroyed yard! I asked them when they can come and correct what they destroyed, Joe Troia told me that they are not responsible for any damage on my lawn that they did. I then spoke with Tony scaravalle and he told me that he will take care of the damage right away. As a matter of fact he told me that he and his company are professional and they are always taking care of issues... I guess none of them wear pants to honor their word! read more

Joe came to our property saying we'd get a written estimate within one week. Four weeks and three follow-ups later, we're still waiting. Each follow-up was sent to Joe's personal e-mail and left on his voicemail. He never even had the professional courtesy to return any of the messages. We're now using another vendor. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this poor-service firm. Very unprofessional! read more

They discussed options for replacing the old driveway with either asphalt or concrete giving me plenty of information to help make my decision. The prices quoted were reasonable and there were no "surprises" that increased my costs.
