My car was deeply keyed along 90-95% of the whole passenger side; the front passenger door was kicked, and the bottom of the rear passenger door & adjacent skirt was damaged, as well. I cried when I saw the damage; I love my car and its unique body style! And I was very worried about having it repaired to my quality standards. Fortunately, I followed AMMO NYC on YouTube and discovered that he was greatly impressed by and spoke highly of J&B BODYWORKS' expertise, well-equipped facility, significant attention to detail and overall care. I met with Joe Izzo (an owner) and his son Mike and they immediately assured me that my car would be treated as well as the Ferraris, Bentleys, Lamborghinis and other high-end cars that this shop is uniquely certified to repair by the manufacturers. Joe also went above and beyond in working closely with my insurance company adjuster to ensure that the needed repairs were covered within the insurance company's limitations and avoided the car being 'totaled' due to its age and the extent of the damage. Lastly, the J&B BODYWORKS Team went above and beyond by making some minor repairs that most people would not notice, except anal people like me. Geico suggested I fix my car with them after I was in an accident. After the accident my car's bumper was loose, the front grille was broken and the trunk's door had a dent. I was told that my car was going to be ready in two weeks. It almost took a month for them to fix it. They returned my car to me without fixing the bumper. Them bumper was still loose. I went back to them and the young gentleman(Richie) took care of me. when I asked him to refix the bumper, he told me the following: "What are you talking about? "That's how Honda cars are". I replied to him, NO, that is not Honda cars are. My sister has the same car as mine and I showed him pictures of her car's trunk and he had the nerve to tell me "You are comparing apples to oranges". He finally agree to fix my car. They fixed the bumper. However, my trunk's door needed to be refixed. It was not opening or closing properly. I took it the car back to them on a Monday and it was not fix until Thursday evening. They returned my car with a complete empty gas tank. I wonder if they were using my car for their personal use all those days? The gas tank was filled when I brought the car in. To make matters worse, I had two shoves and one ice scraper in my trunk and they are gone!!!!!! I called Geico and complaint about them and asked Geico not to advise anyone to take their cars for repairs there. I honestly believe that those nice reviews about them were written by themselves.

When my car was side-swiped in a parking spot, he worked with me to find a convenient time for the repair, and coordinated with insurance, the rental car company, and me while I was traveling out of state, making the process easy and painless. He outsourced part of the detailing work, which resulted in a tiny dent on a panel, which I completely missed. I would have happily rolled off the lot but he made sure to flag it, and scheduled a quick return so he could make it perfect. I hope I won't have much need for autobody repair anytime soon, but if I do I'll be happy to take it back to Fernando. He's a pleasure to work with.

Loyal customers for 12 years and, yet, they choose to scam us...dishonesty should not be taken…read morelightly! We brought the car for diagnostic, they called us telling that timing belt was worn out and needs replacement. The price estimate they gave us was $2000. We said that we needed to think about it because it sounded like too much for the job. They went ahead and replaced the timing belt (without replacing water pump!!! Water pump replacement should be done along with timing belt replacement-common safety practice everywhere). They told me that they spent 8.4 hours on replacing the timing belt (normal time for a professional is 2 hour, an amateur can do it in 3 hours). They charged me for the Timing Belt Kit $495.95 PLUS the belt itself $89.99 (although it is normally sold with the kit as a package for $365 maximum price). The total bill came up to $1975, and that is WITHOUT OUR CONSENT because we trusted this business for 12 years, they decided to go ahead without our approval of the estimated fee. In comparison, local Acura certified dealership charge $1555 (including tax) for changing timing belt WITH water pump replacement!!! Their professional statement, just like every other shop I asked, was that water pump should be replaced at the same time as timing belt for further engin preservation as water pump has the same wear and tear estimate as the timing belt. After speaking with Casarella's about this, they told me that they can replace the water pump at additional cost. After a day of back and forth meaningless texts, they reduced their bill to 6.4 hours of labor time, which clearly shows the how the price scam works, and their dishonesty because it only takes 2 hours to replace the timing belt at a professional auto shop!! That dishonesty in addition to overcharging for the replaced parts and NOT replaced water pump. OUTRAGEOUS!!
