It was completely meant for me to visit ScentTok in Johns Creek! After a client cancelled on me last minute, I realized I just happened to be a block away from the very place whose posts have been flooding my social media timeline for weeks. This made it the perfect opportunity to kick off the summer season with some self-care. I absolutely had to see for myself what this viral sensation was all about. It did not disappoint. As I walked in, it felt as if I had stepped into a serene paradise. This was a breath of fresh air compared to other craft spaces where things feel way too condensed with no room to relax. The floor plan here is excellently executed with crafts beautifully organized up front and the food cafe situated in the back. While there is a massive variety of DIY activities, the clever layout ensures it never feels crowded or overwhelming. The owner promptly greeted me with genuine warmth and was so excited to explain how everything works. She instantly introduced me to an array of options including custom bracelets, phone charms, beads galore, scented candles that don't need to be lit, and the Crystal Energy Aroma Bowl. The little girl in me was so pleased because this is exactly the type of creative crafting I would have loved as a child. No worries though. I am fully making up for it now. Before diving into the arts and crafts, I was ready to eat and sample their highly anticipated menu. I ordered the Ube Coco because I am completely obsessed with Ube. This drink was absolutely perfection featuring a fluffy Ube foam layered over fresh, hydrating coconut water. I also ordered the veggie gyoza, which was incredibly delicious, light, and not greasy at all. It was served alongside vinegar, sriracha, and ketchup. For the main course, I chose the Mapo Tofu Bento Box, which featured silken tofu swimming in the most savory, delicious sauce I have ever tasted with just the right amount of spicy kick. Served alongside a perfect, non-salty miso soup and fluffy steamed rice. It genuinely tasted like a comforting, home-cooked meal. This was exactly what I needed. With a full stomach, it was time to go to work on my custom summer craft project. While everything looked amazing, the Crystal Energy Aroma Bowl was calling to me. I wanted a beautiful piece for my office to help me relax, manifest positive vibes, and pull better energy into my workspace. As I put together my crystal bowl, the owner showed me gorgeous actual dried leaves to add. They were stunningly preserved. When it came to choosing the perfect fragrance, I am usually a huge fan of jasmine. However, the owner's personal favorite, Gardenia, completely elevated my bowl to the next level. While there is still so much left to explore at this hidden gem, I am completely content with my beautiful creation. This is the absolute perfect venue to book for a kid's birthday party, a graduation celebration, a unique summer date night, or a fun girls' day out because there is truly something here for everyone. I already cannot wait until my next trip to try more crafts and treats. Make sure to stop by this amazing Johns Creek boutique when you have time, and tell them that Ash Said It sent you that way! #JohnsCreekGA #ScentTok #AtlantaCrafts #DIYStudioAtlanta #JohnsCreekRestaurants #UbeCoco #MapoTofuBento #AshSaidIt #CrystalEnergyAromaBowl #AtlantaBlogger #ThingsToDoInAtlanta #SummerInAtlanta #DIYCrafts #asianowned #WomenOwnedBusiness

Was with two friends looking for a birthday gift for a former boss of ours. Lots of color from all the merchandise popped out as soon as we walked into the store. Swoozie's was very inviting, as were the employees who greeted me and asked if I needed help looking for anything. The store was neat, clean and well organized. This store stocks lots of items that will help you celebrate special occasions. Gifts, cards, stationery, invitations, and decorations are among so many different quality items that they sell. Most of these items are organized into specific sections of the store. For example, just about all of the cards are in the card section, and the invitations are in the invitation section. However, gifts are spread throughout the store, so customers have to walk through the entire store to get a good idea of what they stock. The three of us looked through the whole store for a birthday gift for our ex-manager, but nothing jumped out at us. While we all agreed that they have high quality merchandise in Swoozie's, we all thought that the prices were generally expensive - more expensive than what we want to pay, unless they were on clearance.

The gift card took a little while to get to me and as a result, they sent a thoughtful present and a nice note in addition to the gift card. Super classy and thoughtful act.

For Valentine's Day I wanted a couple sweet treats for my lovelies at home and picked out a PB/Choc truffle for my fiancé and two chocolate covered Oreos for my 15 yr old Oreo loving step daughter to be. $1-2 something each and the report was thumbs up for all! Probably not a place I will regularly search for gifts (a little pricey) but it is fun to browse sometimes when I'm on the street to get my hair done at Van Michael.

Well this store fills that void. Packing a little bit of everything into a small footprint. If you need to find a present for someone on your way to a dinner party on 14th and Juniper this is your savior. Coffee table books, , chocolates, and even stuffed animals if you are on your way to a baby shower. I have found Midtown branded socks and cocktail books here. The service is always friendly sky and attentive but not pushy. I have been in here a few time and didn't not buy anything. While that may not sound like a good thing it was. I never feel pressured that if I am mot 100% sure I want to get something I should not bother going in. With a constantly rotating inventory visiting frequently is a must. The feel is of a well curated family run museum gift shop!
