A neighbor had told me that renewals can be done at a currency exchange. I took a picture of the VIN # and the license plate and that's all you need, well $$ of course! They only accept cash, a check or debit card (with an additional fee). No credit cards. The woman who helped me was very professional and quick to complete my transaction. She answered my questions about installing the sticker and I was on my way! Yeah! Street legal once again!

My mom was standing beside me and female cashier in window HP4 proceeded to tell me my mom had to wait on the side since she's not the sender. Thought that was strange because we had done this before at the very same location and my mom was not asked to step away in previous times. Elderly mom handed me bills towards the total as contribution. As I counted, cashier yells out (partly covering her mouth with her hand) in spanish to her co-worker on the other window then tells me she can't provide service to us because I was counting the total bills in front of her. Shocked because again we had completed this service at the same location before with no difficulties. So I told cashier I will go to a different location instead and proceeded with purchasing vehicle sticker. Female cashiers continued to converse in spanish and was laughing. Then I hear "That's why I asked!" Unprofessional and poor customer service skills. Never returning and would not recommend this location based on my experience. I will stick with my local Meijer where they have people skills and good customer service.

My 16 year old Versa passed! I was surprised, I hadn't driven it in months and had to jump it, to start it 15 minutes before. The young woman that did the test was nice, and did I mention fast!

There were four lanes open and each had three to four cars waiting. I got into the shortest line - three cars and as soon as I pulled up, the first car left. I probably waited five minutes before I was in line to be tested. The test has gotten shorter over the years, probably due to improved technology. You still have to get out of the car so they can complete the test and it was mighty cold out that day. They have an enclosed room where you can wait, but I was not offered the chance to go inside. I imagine it's because the test is so fast now. The car passed inspection. The person who did the test thanked me for coming by - she was very pleasant. This location also has a place where you can renew your plates. My plates are still up to date so I didn't have to go inside but I have used them before and was pleased with their service.
