bummer. brought bike in for 1) squeaking brakes and 2) brakes needed bleeding. waited 10 days. i had to call a few times to find out if it was ready from 7th-10th day. finally ready. went in and picked it up. said they bleeded the brakes, okay $60 for front and rear. i asked about squeaking brakes. they said "um, there is no solution to that". we just took it home. brakes are actually worse in squeak and absolutely worse bleed situation. googled it myself and found multiple solutions to remove pads, sand them down, clean with rubbing alcohol, and re-install, which fixed it. wished i saved myself $60 and 2 weeks, plus the trip to and from the store. so sad, a nice store, but totally incompetent mechanics read more

Went there today, and won't be back! Saw dozens of people walking around with NO MASK! Follow the guidelines, or are they to scared to enforce the law! NO escalator, high prices, no help, and it goes on and on! read more

If I could give no stars I would!! Absolutely the worst costumer service we went in this evening around 6:30 so our daughter could swing a couple softball bats before we purchase another bat we were told they are short staffed and we would need to come back another night to try the bats we thought it was kidding and he told us he only had time for us to swing the bats if we could guarantee we would be purchasing a bat tonight!? Are you kidding me! This is total crap and terrible customer service if we could return the $200 glove we bought last week we would and spend our money at a store that actually appreciates the business this is not how you treat paying customers! From entering the store to leaving, my experience has always been amazing. The employees are so helpful, thoughtful, knowledgeable and kind. This is a top notch retailer with amazing customer service. You always leave feeling happier than when you came in. If scheels could do customer service training for other retailers/ hotels/ restaurants/ etc, it would take off! There's something to the scheels magic. A cool store and just everything you could possibly need for sporting. The store has a Ferris wheel, fish tank tunnels, game spaces, a candy shop, and a restaurant. Then around all of that they have many sports clothing brands and gear for whatever you need: camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, a dog section, etc... the skateboarding section is fun to go look at. Bonus: you can bring your well-behaved dogs. This helped me in the winter with training my pup to be accustomed to crowds. It's a lot of people, and can be overwhelming for your dog, but all of the employees were so nice to us. I definitely recommend you go. read more

I was looking to get a gift certificate for my wife's upcoming birthday. After being tossed around by the card member services I shook hands with Paul Williams. Not only did he greet me and acknowledge me (head Ferris wheel) operator but asked if we found everything. Then went the extra mile to show me the area to go to. read more

Scheel's was a fun experience. But a bit more of an idea store. The fish tank is beautiful and the place is very well organized with really friendly staff. However they don't have an escalator which makes it very hard for people with lung and heart conditions to go upstairs where there are an abundance of more options. But overall a fun place. Just lower the prices, and add an escalator and it's perfect. read more

Absolutely our favorite sports store! It's more than a sports store it's essentially a sports mall. The Farris wheel is our son favorites, and it's only $1/person (just get your tokens before you get in line) All of the arcade games are only $1/play and the cafe has lots of fun dining options. This is like the Chick-fil-A of sports stores. read more

The staff are so nice we got 9 free rides on the Ferris wheel I will totally recommend coming it is totally worth it

I've been to this Scheels multiple times and every time I have been extremely disappointed by the staff. To start, you can not even enter the store with out missing the giant "masks required" sign, however; there are more people in the store with out masks on, than with. Once you enter the store there are high school students in charge of making sure everyone has their mask on. Do you really expect a 16 year old to tell a family of 4 they need to wear masks? It's ridiculous the store is not upholding their own rules. I understand that things are starting to lighten up with the whole COVID thing, but there are still people who are not only at risk, but also have the fear of the virus. It is upsetting that such a great franchise gets the opportunity to make millions of dollars from their awesome location, but can not even enforce STATE laws. I saw multiple families, without masks on, talking to managers and other employees like nothing is wrong. I believe Scheels coming to Colorado Springs is great for the community, this is just outrageous. I am blown away by the lack of authority in such a busy crowded location. read more
