This guy services Center Square area for his company, he's been to my house before but I forgot he worked for Phillips, otherwise, I would not have called them...I did not care for him the first time he came over. He seems lackadaisical, unconcerned and has a questionable work ethic. He parked his vehicle around the corner when there was ample parking in front of my house, he took his time walking back and forth to his vehicle. He charged me for 60 minutes of his time to do what in my opinion, should have taken 30 min. He must have spent 30 minutes in his truck I guess because he only spent about 30 MAX in my house. His work was ok, I had to ask him to tighten the door handles after he changed the main entrance door lock cylinder, which seems to me he would have done so without being asked. I won't be calling this company again, not if this guy is their representative I have no confidence in him. The bill included: SCR $200, for which he wrote "plus labor for outer door mortise lock..." (he did not provide a break-out of what he spent his time doing); He then listed "Change combination Lock cylinder $20.00", "Progressive Split Spindle $18.92" plus 8% in taxes; the total invoice was $258.03. I feel like the work he did could have been done faster and far less expensive. I'll call another company the next time.

Based on his review, he said that he did not think that locks had to be replaced and that the existing locks could be rekeyed at a cost of about half of what it would cost to change the locks. Dustin came out out 8/10/18 and rekeyed the locks, which work fine now! He was very friendly, professional and polite. I would recommend Lock Works to anyone!

We'll, as we're unpacking the car, one of my kids pulled the door shut, and poof, we were locked out! I went across the street to a neighbor's, and she got out the phone book. It was lunchtime, and I told them what happened. They said they could have somebody there in 20 minutes, perhaps. My son and I sat on the porch, and their truck drove up in under 10 minutes. They were not able to open my door lock, so they had to drill out the old lock cylinder and replace it. They told me they had a minimum fee for a lock out and as he was drilling, I was thinking - this will cost me extra. He had replaced the lock in under 20 minutes, and even gave me 4 keys for my new lock and then charged me just their minimum. I would definitely recommend them anytime you need a locksmith.

Usually with older locks easily 50+ years old, they have to order the blanks , but all times they've been able to get the keys made within a week. These are both key types that Home Depot and Lowe's are unable to do. One set had an issue and needed to be recut and I brought them back and they recut all ten.
