Although I gave them 2 stars only because the soup is amazing they only have chicken and wild rice soup once a week and don't even make enough to get through lunch. I arrived at 1:20 and wanted 3 quarts but they only have enough for two. This means that some of the elderly that I help out will not get their favorite soup. Manager was a complete dick he kept getting our order wrong and didn't listen when we said we already paid for two of the sandwhiches. The girl just stood there and didn't say that we payed for them. New staff is needed because he was rude and talked to us like we were stupid. read more

This place was a mess...literally! There was trash overflowing the trash bins. There were no paper towels in the ladies room. Service was slow even at 2 in the afternoon. We ordered tea but the dispenser was empty. There were no extra napkins and when we tried to ask an employee if there were more but she didn't hear us because she had ear buds in. We love Schlotzsky's and eat here all the time since we don't live too far. We've never had any issues with the food or service until today. My husband was ordering at the drive-thru and the server taking our order told him to stop yelling because she could hear him just fine. He wasn't yelling at all just speaking as he always does. This is going to be one of the best Schlotzsky's anyone will ever go to. The cleanliness, service, and speed of the staff is out of this world. I will literally drive all the way from Austin to have a good sandwich from here. They are known for making your food once you order it and this place is just so organized and they have their restaurant in order. Their management makes sure you get the quality you deserve. You order, sit, and they bring your food for you. You walk in and it smells great...EVERYTHING IS CLEAN! I just can't repeat that enough because no only is the front part, the back end, and the outside are clean but their restrooms are clean. Staff is friendly and quick. If something might take a bit longer, they apologize and make sure they get it out as quickly as possible. If there is a mistake, they are more than welcome to fix it and do not give you dirty looks! This place makes all the other Schlotzsky's look sissy. This store is doing it right. read more

They are always a hit and miss with us! My sandwich is always missing the cheese that I pay extra for! The pizzas are very tough and have no sauce. The place seems pretty clean every time I'm there. The kids working there are kind of loud and annoying though almost every time. Last time I was there a nice young man was walking around the dining area looking for where he was needed and even asked if we need napkins when he brought our food. I have been to this Schlotzsky's several times for lunch. Every time that I have been there, Luke, the franchise owner, has been there. He has jumped on the register and taken orders to help get lines down. He always checks with customers to ensure they are having a good experience. Very friendly guy. We had a terrible eExperience tonight at the Schlotzsky's in Bastrop. They were out of a variety of different Buns (for the third time in as many weeks). We got there at 9:45, 15 minutes before closing, and all of the tables were turned on their side. They were out of pickle spears. I picked up They picked up the tea and dumped it and didn't let the people that were in the dining room that they were going to do that. They made it very clear that we were an annoyance rather than a valued customer. The final communication with the shift leader yelled at us that we couldn't go out that door because it was locked we had to go out the other door. If you don't want to serve customers at 9:45, then close your restaurant at 9:45 rather than treating the people who come at that time as though they are a pariah read more

A great place to stop when you're on the road. The food was good and it came out fast. They have an outdoor patio that is dog friendly. The restrooms were mostly clean, just needed a spot cleaning/needed to be tidied up. I took a star away bc the trash cans were overflowing, the drink station counter was sticky and needed tended to, and for the restroom situation mentioned above. So, the food tasted good. There's no false advertisement here. You get what you pay for, it's like a Quiznos/Panera. The service here is pretty bad but luckily I was prepared for that by reading the reviews so I didn't expect much. It was just the front counter service that wasn't good, they were solving a problem very silently and kind of just ignoring us. It was confusing as to what was happening. The food came out quickly.. I created a profile on Yelp just to write a good review about this Schlotsky's. I had a meeting in Bastrop I needed to cater, and I chose this restaurant. The day of the meeting, not only did I call before picking up the order to add to the original order, but I also asked for it to be prepared sooner. I was expecting the Manager on staff to be a little upset, but it didn't phase him one bit. The order came out exactly as I wanted, and even a little bit earlier than I asked for. The manager (or maybe assistant manager) on staff was as friendly as you could expect anyone to be. The service here was sublime. read more

This location may have good food but the service needs a lot of attention. I went in last Saturday night and placed and order to go. There were other customers who had been served already and they were happily enjoying their food. I got my drinks and chips and stood there waiting for my order which was the only one being processed at the time. I waited about 10 minutes, watching two young women who worked there as they looked at their cell phones and giggled with each other and the manager as he put away supplies. I waited a bit more and still no food. Finally, I went to the cashier and asked for a refund for the sandwich I had ordered and suddenly the manager flew into action and asked why I wanted a refund. When I told him that I had waited and no food was given to me, he said he would get it done and sure enough in 5 minutes my sandwich was ready. I don't know if the bread was stale or just too much for the amount of filling or what. It was not good. My daughter said her pizza was super greasy.
