This is one of the best sandwich food chains in Texas. The bread is so good! The French dip is basically beef and cheese with a natural gravy sauce that's served on the side. It's my favorite thing on the menu. The Fiesta chicken sandwich is my number two. They have some of the best sugar cookies I've ever had. The thing is, they are always out! I've been several times, and they never have them. I've even been early, and they don't have any. I'm not sure if they're lazy and just don't bake them or if they're discontinued, but it's a real disappointment. This is one reason why I'm giving this shop 4 stars instead of 5. The other reason is they sell cinnamon rolls. I think it's even in their name. The Cinnamon rolls are expensive and aren't fresh. I guess they bake them early and leave them out all day, or they're using the previous days batch. I would skip them and go across the street to Shipleys for something similar. The sandwiches are a little pricey at around $10 for a regular. The large supposedly had twice the calories as the regular, so you would think that it would be about twice the amount of food, but unfortunately it's not. I would estimate that it's about 50 percent the amount, and it sits at $15. I wouldn't recommend getting the large to get a better deal unless you're hungry! This could be just this location sandwich makers, but it's been consistent since I've been going. Even with these issues, I'm giving them 4 stars because ultimately the sandwiches are delicious, and this is what most people are going for. read more

Straight Trash Service. Don't waist your time. I ordered my food through the app using a coupon Code. Paid for my food through the app and went to pick up my food. Before I walked in, I made sure the app is open showing my order number and what I ordered. I go in and tell the lady that I'm picking up my mobile order. I tell her my name. Of course.... They couldn't find my order two other people come up to me and then it's canceled right in front of me. I wasn't canceled before I walked in but when I come in to pick It up.... All of the sudden the entire order was canceled. They didn't offer to make my order or didn't even try to make it right. I just left and never.... Ever going there again. Oh my God! Couldn't get the credit card machine to work at the window. The girl asks can I take it to the front? Really? Ya sure so you can write my card info down or take a picture of it later to order your Amazon junk? Comes back to the front the she says card says error so I said ya it partially bent( I had just successfully used it at the CVS across the street!)go put it back in if that doesn't work swipe it! She looks at me blankly. So then I ask can I come in and try it? Again, blank look. Lucky I had a few loose bills or they would have kept their stinking pizza. I let my kid know this would be her LAST pizza from this place!! If this place is going to let a bunch of kids work there then at least have one real adult that can help them when these " minor" issues occur because common sense was no where in the building. Normally the only complaint I've had about Schlotzky's is that they are extremely expensive. I understand everything has gone up in prices lately, but this has gotten ridiculous. However, the last two times I've been there have resulted in two different issues. My wife and I have ordered there Wednesday Buy One Get One Free Pizzas a few times. Last week, January 19, 2022, I ordered and proceeded to wait patiently over 15 minutes while watching pizza after pizza being delivered through the drive thru window. When I asked the waitress to check on it, she came back and said they "dropped one of my pizzas and had to start over". I told her I've been watching through their window to the kitchen and I never saw that. I finally complained to the manager, he just offered me two cookies to pacify me. This week, January 26, 2022, I went through the drive thru and got my pizzas quickly. HOWEVER, my wife called me a couple hours later to see if I had any "issues" after eating it. I said I've been in the restroom several times already. She told me she had been also. Things seem to being getting worse and worse as my eyes are opening up to their overpriced and unsatisfactory work. read more

Ordered online for pick up, my friend gets to Schlotzskys and the person behind the counter says Billy meal is only the sandwich right? my friend was like no he has tea and chips. they get that confusion straightened out and when I get my sandwich its completely wrong, the bread is regular sourdough I ask for gluten free, no avocados on my sandwich. COME ON REALLY even the receipt says what is suppose to be on the sandwich. First time here and never to return, plus the prices are way to high. read more

The best thing about Schlotzsky's is their cool yet hard to pronounce name. Unfortunately, their sandwiches are overpriced and not any better than Subway. For strange reason, however, they charge at least 30% more for their food. Why....because the bread is round?? I've tried to like this chain but paying $10 for a sandwich meal that has no taste is just too hard to justify. Having said that, this restaurant is clean and the service is good. Friendly staff and they keep the place is top condition. Waited in line for almost 12 minutes to be told that the card machine was down. The manager wouldn't allow for a comp but asked for my credit card number to charge at a later time. ...lol...yeah, right! Horrible customer service with no regard for a consumer's time. I'm sure proper procedure would have been to give your customers their options before having to waste anymore time trying to reach the window or have a worker come out of the building to notify your customers of the situation. I really like these sandwiches. The sweet tea is really good and I always go for the sour cream and onion chips. There are alot of bad reviews in this place but I have never had bad food, bad service and I think the price is fair. Awful service! I got there at exactly 9 pm, they close at 10. I proceeded to order the half soup and flatbread, the cashier tells me "oh we don't have that we put all soup up at 8:30" I say ok I'll do mac and cheese and flatbread, she then says "yeah sorry none of that either." So I had to get salad and flatbread. When I go to get tea there was none and they had put that and there were no utensils and I had to ask and she had an attitude and says "they're over there" I then had to reply they were empty and we just needed forks. Excellent food, very clean and fast service. Wifi hot spot, FREE Internet (sorry AT&T). Service is friendly and best sandwich in town. I drop off my car next door's Elite Lube for a oil change, and have a lunch here. My kids always come along with me, and wife too ; ) It is kid friendly and family setting. read more
