First time ever trying this place - asked for no lettuce or tomato, got it on my sandwich anyway. The Mac n cheese is just ridiculous. No straw for my drink so that's great. I've bee a fan of schlotzkys since I can remember and my experience was okay but at one point it was infuriating. when it comes to the night shift people they are people in which give you a entirely different order then don't care about the customers order they are also not polite . they given me a wrong order of food for a large order. the overall ambience is okay. read more

This location is lacking, I have really enjoyed Schlotzsky's at every location but this particular one has turned me away from the delicious food they have always prepared. I ordered the large Original and upon biting into the tasty meal something didn't seem right. It was missing something but I couldn't put my taste buds on it. I like Schlotzsky's, and I usually stop by once for lunch when I am visiting Cove. I was happy to see their newest deal called Pick 2. You can choose two half order items from a long list: sandwich, pizza, soup, flatbread and salad. I might even be missing an item or two from the Pick 2 list. My mom ordered a half original sandwich and half potato soup. I got half turkey-bacon sandwich and a flatbread pizza. Then we shared the soup and pizza. I ordered the Italian Sausage & Basil Artisan Flatbread. It came with a balsamic reduction sauce, but honestly it just tasted like BBQ sauce to me and I wasn't very happy with it. Generally though, the flatbread pizza was good. The potato soup however was really, really good, and the bowl it comes in is really big for a 1/2 order. It was great during the freezing Texas weather were experiencing. I didn't try the original, but the turkey-bacon was good as expected. I wanted to try the dark rye, but they were out at the time that I ordered so I went with the classic sourdough. Overall I really liked the Pick 2, because I got to try so many things since I rarely get to go to Schlotzsky's, but I would pick a different flatbread pizza in the future. p.s. the Texas style sweet tea was insanely sweet. went in here to use the restroom, fully preparing to buy something if i had to as i'm 6 months pregnant and really had to go. no one was at the register and there weren't any signs up saying i needed too on the doors so i went. then i walked out, and as i was walking out, a lady yelled "did she really just come in here to use the restroom?" i turned around and said "yes, is that ok?" fully prepared to purchase something if i had to. she rolled her eyes and shook her head at me, scoffing. the thing is, this is the first time i walked into a schlotskys and i was considering bringing my family there to try it out. i also 100% would've bought something if she said that they had a policy there, but she was rude and didn't really say anything. just seemed like bad service to me. that's my experience. read more

I went here to get a cinnamon roll, and they took forever to give me one. Not to mention, it was cold. They didn't even try to warm it up. I warmed it up, when I got home, but it tasted old. I guess just don't go here for the dessert. read more

As a current fast food worker i understand that consumer service can really make a place. This schlotzskys in particular had the worst costumer service. i walked in super excited because i love this place! i live in san antonio and i constantly go to the location there, amazing customer service and great food. As soon as i walked in i could tell the vibe was off. i go up to the register to order and the guy taking my order seemed extremely annoying and frustrated in the fact that i was even there. first impression: dissatisfied. i'm really not one to complain but when i walk into a place to eat i don't expect to feel uncomfortable and unwanted and i don't think anyone should. i felt so uncomfortable i decided to not order a dessert because i genuinely didn't want to talk to the guy at the counter anymore. again this place has so much potential it just needs better customer service. i will not be returning to this location. read more

The only time I've ever been here, my husband ordered at the drive thru for me. They were out of pretty basic things like Dr. Pepper and chicken. He gets the order home, and they had given us a totally different order so we have to go back. The employee at the window seemed inconvenienced by our coming back.
