It did take about seven minutes for someone to come and take our drink order and then a few extra minutes after that to take our food order even though we really wasn't that crowded. I think they were getting a lot of to go orders. I had the Rachel and it was very delicious, came with some chips. They don't serve fries here which was a little disappointing, but I do understand. We enjoyed our food and I'll definitely be back when I'm craving some pastrami or a Reuben.

Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

It was a very flavorful and delicious Burger, the caramelized onion Jam was awesome and a great combination with the melted Brie on the brioche bun unfortunately I was only able to try three burgers this year mostly because a few of the locations are closed on Sunday which is crazy but this burger definitely is the winner of the three that I tried. That would certainly recommend the meat board to anyone looking for a quality Burger and some very high quality meat sold at the counter.
