I luv this place. They are the fastest and best schlotzsky's I've been to. They are faster than many well known fast foods places. They can make a sandwich in minutes. I've often been late for work and stopped here so get lunch and made it to work with so much time to spare, I continue to be amazed. One time it was raining, and the young man waiting on me offered me a paper towels with my meal to wipe off the rain that drenched my car. Never before has establishment ever done this for me . I read all of the negative reviews and I guess they must have changed staff or managers because our food was hot and very good! Gloves were worn and the girl at the drive-thru was courteous and helpful. One of us had a pizza and the cheese was gooey and stringy like it should be. The sandwiches were packed tight and full of meat and veggies. Mine was extra meaty because I ordered a deluxe. I saw the staff through the window and one of them put the sourdough bread through the oven first, THEN put the ingredients in the sandwich and passed it through again. PERFECTION. I almost had to call the cops on myself for beating up 2 employees that completely ignored the drivethru that I was waiting at for about 10 minutes. When I finally drove around and went inside and asked if they were paying attention to the drivethru they said it was broken....ok fine! Placed my order...was already pissed of.....And then halfway through them making my order a car drives up to the drivethru and it dings and the same female that said it was broken....promptly replies and takes the customers order. I went through the drive- thru and I ordered a small turkey sandwich. Nothing special. When I pulled up to the window, a lady told me my total, $5.19. I asked how much for a small drink and the lady nonchalantly replied, "The combo costs $9.95." What the heck?! I should have left right there. I was already getting a bad feeling about this place, but I just told her I was just getting the sandwich and not the combo. Like many others have posted, she took my card and disappeared with it. When she returned, I got a receipt along with my card, and sandwich was given to me a moment afterward. I drove to Taco Bell and got a medium drink along with the dollar nachos. That total was still smaller than that combo total. Plus I got medium. Win. When I got to the office, I immediately opened my sandwich. Everything looked okay, except for the super burned edges. I took a bite. And another. Nothing different. Then I tasted it. Rotting meat. Sour tasting bread. I inspected my sandwich to make sure I didn't just bite into a piece of mold, but nothing. I put the sandwich down. Then I grabbed the other half. Stupid me. It tasted just as bad, but this time, I tasted hints of dish soap. I was so hungry. I had just come from a doctors appointment and had some blood drawn. I hadn't ate since the day before since I was told I needed to fast for these tests. I was starving. This location is a bit different. It sits on the corner of Belt Line in a small little house. It's very quaint. - The location is small but very clean. - The staff is helpful enough. - The food is consistent across all the locations. The only complaint is the parking. I love ordering the half and half option where you can choose half flatbread/sandwich and a half portion of soup/salad. My go-to favorite is the shrimp n brisket flatbread with a broccoli & cheese soup. However, this branch didn't have many options which was a little disappointing. NOTE: This is not your standard SCHLOTZKYS I am super bummed I didn't check Yelp first. The ONLY way this place stays in business is because of the Verizon Center being so close. The dressings are not the standard Schlotzky's dressing and are sub par of a buffet. Both my sandwich and my toast were both burnt and I would not come here again. At a corporate Schlotzskys you have a pile of meat. In this case it was very slim. I highly doubt they paid to have the ice cube maker cleaned I won't even describe that. read more

I really like schlotzskys, but this one is a franchise and i guess they can charge more for things that the corporate ones dont. Everytime i go i ask for cheese on my chicken sandwich and it costs me 1.99- that is more than there chips are. The other one I go to on i-20 charges only .59 i think. Pisses me off every time, but this one is closer to my house ,so end up paying for it every time. This place has been here a long time, I really hope they make some changes to the parking lot and there prices. Maybe they would get better reviews! read more

The 1.5 star rating is well deserved if not over-rated. Went through the drive thru. They got my order all wrong & the girl at the window was not friendly at all. She also walked off with my debit card & had it the entire time I sat there waiting for my food which made me very suspicious! Prices seem much higher for much less food than every other Schlotzky's I've been too. They did not give me an itemized receipt like every other fast food place does so I can't compare. Nor could I check to see if I was charged for the meal they failed to give me. I will not be back to this location! read more

In this location they rarely honor promotions. Often I got emails with discounts (buy one get one free, etc.) but when I go there they say they don't know anything about it, or say that their register doesn't accept the promotional code or things like that. Also they seem to have maintenance issues, because everything looks old, dirty, or cheap. read more

i was a little bit luckier than the other 2 reviews. i called ahead so i wouldn't have to wait. the drive thru had about 4-5 cars waiting so i walked in. my order was ready when i got there and the cashier was ready to give me my food for free until i told him i needed to pay. after i did i asked it i could get banana peppers and he told me it would cost $.25. really?? i didn't like the bread it was like a biscuit and was too soft and broke apart. won't be back. read more

They make there bread and soup fresh every day! I know the owner and he said they are only required to make it every other day but at this shop they go above what they are required to do. Plus they keep their ingredients fresher than what they are required to keep. That is why it is a bit more expensive. They have also upgraded the interior quite a bit over the last year or so read more

To those who complain about the time it takes to make your food need to understand that schlotzsky's is not a fast food joint. It is a RESTAURANT. People who wants fast food can go to mcdonalds. Any complaints about time is useless. And car parking lots? I don't understand how people complain about something irrilivent. It is the food that you come to the restaurant. Some people use no common sense and abuse yelp. This schlotzsky's is small and more homey than the others. Their drive thru speaker is broken. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Just a little heads up. That's why I notice the girl startled when she saw my car through the window. And people complaining about not being able to use some coupons? Grow up. Schlotzsky's is a franchise. Not all have to be the same and are the same. I've seen how people order and it was painful to watch. Easy follow these steps 1.name the size of the sandwich 2.what kind 3.ask about what is in it 4. Add or remove stuff you don't want 5. ACTUALLY tell the employee if you want the combo. Don't think the employee will automatically charge you for a combo without you saying it and be like an idiot and sat "uh that's the combo right?" And complain about the up price.
