I always enjoy coming here for a pick up order. It's easy to order on the site and the food is always ready when I arrive! My go to order is a cup of chicken noodle soup and chicken club salad! Customer service is amazing and they handle the lines quickly. Will definitely return here for lunch! read more

I was greeted on entering warmly, by a cashier and who I can assume was the manager. My usual order was fine. Location was pretty clean, walls by the booths are filthy however. Sitting and watching someone restock and refill the salad bar using gloves and then touching tongs then going back to using her gloved hands to handle lettuce, spinach other toppings. This is incredibly disgusting and disappointing as I had just made my salad. How many people have touched those tongs with nasty hands and now she is touching bare lettuce and veggies without proper handwashing hygiene. Will not be back to this location. Very disappointed, the salad bar is not managed at all. I have seen multiple children make trips to the salad bar by themselves, multiple trips with the same plate. On Friday, 4/17, I saw a patron use the tongs to put in items from the salad bar onto her USED plate that already had leftover salad dressing, then put the tongs back into the salad bar. No one watches the salad bar and it's almost as if management turns a blind eye. On top of that, children from the charter school down the street go to the ice cream machine frequently, take , and leave. When I asked management if they were aware of this, they stated they know the children come in after 3 and get free ice cream. That's not being managed either. This is not sanitary and I will not be coming back. Beware, potential food poisoning! read more

I always have great meals at Jason's Deli. I order frequently for catering orders to be delivered and they are always prompt and the orders are correct. Absolute not. My family and I have been pissed the last three times he patronized this place BEFORE this last final straw. First of all I ordered kids cheese pizza and the person that took the order rang up pepperoni instead. I bring this to her attention. She tells the guy preparing that it's supposed to be cheese instead. She hands him the box and I literally see him picking the pepperoni off and close the box and hand it back to her! i ordered a side of chicken brieast like I always do and today they give it to me in a super small cup which is a half portion and charged me for the full portion. I go inside to ask how much is the portion I have in my hand and also tell the manager that we always order this and it comes in a larger container. she says "Oh I'll get you the full portion for your inconvenience" No Maam, lol, your not doing anything for my inconvenience, your getting me what I paid for! On top of that, I open the small portion that was given to me initially when I made it home, it was the oldest portion of chicken I have ever been served in my life! I believe the cook got pissed when he got called out for picking off of my daughter'a pizza and he gave me the old chicken. I took pictures and a video of it. The lady in the window said he made me a new cheese pizza which was obviously a lie because it's always still too hot for my 5 year old to eat when we get it home and it was no where near the temperature it normally is when they make it fresh and even my daughter said mom the pizza is not hot today. read more

So I decided to get a sandwich from Jason's Deli yesterday, blah, blah, blah to make a long story short, when you get your sandwich it never looks like what their pictures show they look like on their website. My sandwich was ALL bread (croissant) and one slice of protein, in this case turkey. What the heck!!? They are being very frugal with their protein. I won't be back. read more

This place is the worse in making sure your order is makes correctly. When if first opens this place was great, now the service has down. Due to convenience I eat from here at least niece a week and the last 5 times I drive thru my, my order is wrong. ordered a pollo Mexicano , they gave me a kids meal version of it, had to go back in line of the drive thru to get the correct one... I preferred it without sour cream , the girl even said yes no sour cream u looked and well didn't look like it had, to my surprise I get home and there is sour cream deep into the bottom , under the pico under the cheese under the chicken so looking at it you can't see until you dig into it! And by the way this is not the first time this happened either. Other things wrong: ordered a taco salad with chili and multiple times they forget to give me the sauce or the chili and I have to go back to get it, wasting more of my time. Welcome to Grand Prairie, Jason's Deli! I have been driving by for months waiting for this place to open. When I moved to the neighborhood a year and a half ago there were very few food options within a mile radius. If I wanted food I had to venture way out away from my home, which way was inconvenient. Now that IKEA is here, the food has come. *insert Jason's* Despite coming on their grand opening evening for dinner, the restaurant was not overcrowded. So this place is super new and the staff is very young. Maybe high schoolers or first year college students. The lady I placed my order with was so confused with my order. I had to be help her out a lil and so did the manager. The cashier forgot to ask for my name. So they had to come find me for my order. The Salas bar was pretty clean. Two stars. We ordered our food with some gumbo. After we sat down there were several sets of customers came in we'll after us, and received all their food before we got ours. One we received our food (only half of it mind you) they said they were going to o be right back with the rest....another 5 or so minutes and no gumbo. We then saw the lady (manager??) put some stuff in the microwave to hear it up. We realized what she was doing and said don't worry about it, we don't want it like that. I can heat up gumbo at home in the microwave myself and save $24! Had we known the gumbo was out, we would have simply chosen something else. It seemed like the staff was concentrating more on drive through and pick up orders more than they were concentrating on their customers sitting inside. During this pandemic, I have done my best to support local business. I know they are struggling. Today I ordered from Jason's and it was the worst experience I have had with them to date. My curbside order was 20 minutes late. Ok, there is a staff shortage. We get home and an entire meal is missing. Ok, people forget. The lady tells me they saw it there as we were leaving. They should have called and I would have turned around. No harm but would have been nice. She says she'll take it off my ticket. I want to pick it up I say. Not the answer she wanted to hear. I drive back (20 minutes) and call. "I'm hear to pick up the rest of my order." I say. "Ya whatever I'll be out" I get back. Like, you screwed me lady and I am at least still doing business with you. The food at Jason's Deli is always great! No problem with anything that we ordered. However, to only have one person working the register with the crowd that was here on Sunday is not good. There should have been at minimum two registers open. Abrina, the cash register person, was excellent! If it were not for her, I don't think the line would have moved as fast as it did. Thanks, Abrina!!! Now, the salad bar was not kept up to par. There were empty bins where the muffins are supposed to be. The veggies were low and the salad bar was not being replaced in a timely manner. Very disappointed that the management could have done better than this from other experiences at other Jason's Delis that we've frequented. Worst ever - We typically love Jason's but this was the worst. Called in order, still waited an hour once we got there for our order. Found out they had forgot about me sitting there. I understand they were busy but this was just unacceptable. I asked and was told we are working on it. Saw people come and go, so finally they really looked and found my order just sitting. Ordered (4) sandwiches and all were put together sloppy (no other way to put it) and were tasteless with little ingredients. Ordered (2) broccoli cheese soups; so thick we thought we might need to use a fork. We tossed in the trash, not sure how old the soup was but not good. One of our favorites the California Club was put on some sort of hard flat bread and not the croissant like it should have been.
