We originally saw Subway in this shopping center. But I am not a Subway fan (my kids are). So when I saw that this was also there we switched the plan (much to my daughter's chagrin) to come here. This is a much better choice than subway since they have more options. We got: A side Ceasar salad which was fine. A sandwich kid's meal with added turkey with a fruit cup which was fine. A sandwich kid's meal with added chicken and chips which was fine as well. You do have to add $2 for adding meat to the sandwiches. But they give you the tiniest bit of meat. I think it was maybe one slice so that was disappointing. Savannah was the cashier who helped us and she was super sweet! The parking lot is big with plenty of room for the businesses. read more

Awful Service my neighbor was treated badly for walking in 15 minutes before closing time at "9pm". They wanted to enjoy their favorite sandwich the lights were turned off on them as they were eating !!! How ridiculous! I will no longer be going to this location!! AWFUL service and food looked thrown together without a care. Looked like a bunch of teens playing in the back while multiple customers waited for food. Four other customers were there when I was and all four left annoyed. Worth the drive to another location. read more

I like this location because they don't sell Cinnabons and emphasize why we eat at Schlotzsky's. The sandwich and the special bread it is served on. It's like the original Schlotzsky's I began to eat in when I Iived in Austin!! I purposely avoid Schlotzsky's that sell Cinnabons. I don't know how they became connected but I wish they would drop and just sell Schlotzsky's. read more

The employees at this location really go above and beyond! They communicate well and are friendly and helpful. Oh, and they make a good sandwich, too! On this evening, they got slammed and the kitchen got backed up. Instead of making us wait in silence with no idea, they announce a 10 min wait and assured us all they were working hard to get our orders out. Reyna is a gem! Schlotzsky's was on there a game today. See the photo attached. It was the perfect Deluxe Original. As advertised, it was double meat, hot and delicious. (Some locations don't know what double meat means, this one does.) It was a perfectly built sandwich They did a great job. I would've given them five stars, but their Coca-Cola freestyle machine has been neglected. It was out of several of the usual options, like Coke Zero. read more

The service was extremely unpleasant as soon as I walked in the cashier with the scar on her lip gave me the biggest attitude and rolled her eyes. As I was ordering she seemed really annoyed By my presence, I specifically told her no olives cause I'm allergic and she repeated it that I wanted no olives and I still got olives. Wow. The nicest man was at the counter taking orders and was so nice and friendly! I saw a customer drop their unopened bag of chips on the ground and they ran out with a fresh pack. All their employees were great with sanitation and really the customer service sold it for me! read more

This might be the most mediocre Schlotzsky's I've had. This chain has list its way it seems. Austin Eatery means really nothing that I have found. They advertised new mire abundant sandwiches; it was just a mess. The main issue is this weird bread. It's stale, hard, yet fragile and collapses the sandwich into a big mess. Done. read more

Yesterday I placed an order for 5 of us at work and then immediately an order for one more online. This was not a cheap order and I paid for everything and everyone just gave me money. So I send one employee to pick it up. When she got there, she asked for the order for Ashlee. The guy says everything there is for Ashlee. She said, this is all of it. He said yes. She gets back to work and we realize we are missing the second order for Ashlee. I called. The first time someone answered and sat there for a second (I could hear the noise in the background and then they hung up. I called right back. The guy answered and I said I had an employee go up there to get our orders and they did not get the second order after being told everything there was for Ashlee. He said well it's here. I asked if they could bring it out since it was their fault. He got defensive and I was frustrated so I was about to send my employee there to get the order we missed. Which would make her food cold but we at least would have gotten it all. Then the employee who's lunch was forgotten said never mind, I just want my money back. So I gave him his money back and called the store asking for a refund. The guy was rude and said I just make the sandwiches. And said you have to deal with corporate. Thanks jack bag. I have called and emailed corporate. I want my refund for my order we didn't get. Additionally, regardless of whether or not I like schlotsky's food, I will NEVER step foot or order from the Pantego location again. My daughter's dance studio is practically across the street and I go to that area at least 10 times a week. She spends her days homeschooling at dance and this is a convenient location for them to get food from. We will not patronize this store. Employees need to be trained on how to deal with customer complaints and issues without being rude. They need to be trained to offer assistance to help a customer even if they themselves are not able to. If the gentleman would have shown empathy and offer assistance to fix my issue, I would not have felt so strongly about never returning to this location. A simple, "I am sorry for the mistake. Unfortunately I can not do the return on my end, but here is the number to call for help" would have gone a long way. Instead an "I only make the sandwiches and you can call corporate" is just a crappy response. All I want is my $13.79 or so back. Not the $50 something on the stuff we got. We were dumb and paid too much for what little we got. But the money y'all took for stuff we didn't get sucks to be out. read more
