Ordered two large sandwich combos and was told in a very odd way that the price would come out on the high end side ..as if I am not aware of what I am ordering. I do not mean to accuse the worker of anything, but they were oddly hostile and I would rather think they were just having a bad day. Got exactly what I ordered, except something was off with the bread. Most drinks from the drink station needed the syrup replaced, but was not notified of that, when purchasing a drink. The young girl working the drive through long pony tail was the rudest fast food worker I've ever encountered. I had mentioned that they only had small and medium on the menu and I didn't know large was an option. She rolled her eyes and said and..? I was stunned at her disrespect and I told her you work in customer service you shouldn't treat people like that she replied I work for $11 an hour I don't need this from you. When the first interaction goes bad, kind of sets the stage of how everything else will unfold. I've been to this location numerous times and always been satisfied, but today when I went through the drive-through the ladies that took my order was very soft spoken, and I asked her to repeat herself multiple times. I ordered a medium original and sour cream and onion chips. After asking her twice to repeat what she just said I finally heard her say they are out of sour cream and onion chips. I then ordered the barbecue chips. When I drove up to the window, I told her that it was really hard to hear her and that maybe the speaker needs to be turned up. She did not respond and just stared at me waiting for payment. It was a very awkward moment and I wondered did she not understand what I was saying? I didn't have to wait long before my order was handed to me as I drove off. I looked in the bag to make sure I had a sandwich and chip and all good. When I got home and opened my bag that's when I realized my order was wrong. Ate it anyway and it was good. Maybe this was just a one time thing and maybe she was having a bad day who knows. The older lady at the front was SO hateful. She started off by looking me and the girl I was with up and down and making a disgusted face; then proceeding to as disgustingly as she could ask if our order was going to be together. She then brought our food with no sides to go with the soup (it comes with a choice of breadsticks or crackers) I checked the food before leaving and asked very nicely if I could have some breadsticks to go with my soup and before I even finished she hissed "you didn't ask for that" okay it comes with my meal lady... anyways the food was sub par for us both and the breadsticks were the best thing out of everything so glad we got them. I give this location 4 stars because every time I've ordered a sandwich to go and ask for a pickle spear, I'm never given a pickle spear. The pickle spear is crucial for every bite, fam. It needs the acidity of the garlicky deli pickle spear to cut through the intensity of the cured meats. However, pickles do not belong on the sandwich itself. Let's just all understand that. I was relieved when I moved from Austin to San Antonio to find a Schlotzsky's nearby. Maybe I'll try skipping the drive through next time. read more
