The service was fine. The pizza came out in less than 10 minutes. The flatbread was just okay. I probably wouldn't order it again. It was really small for what I paid there. We don't have Schlotzkys in Oregon any more and it's one of those places I always try to hit when I'm in Texas. I went for the large sandwich which was enough for two meals. (Smoked beef, bacon and cheese). I'm glad they had a drive through, although it didn't move very quickly. Food was hot and fresh. Schlotzsky's has been a favorite my whole life. Growing up in Central Texas my grandparents would take us to the original location downtown Austin in the 80's. Sadly this location does NOT live up to the name. After multiple tries and different times of the week it is just gross. Overall experience here was very good. Sandwiches are fresh and tasty. Establishment is clean and cashier is patient, friendly and cleans the seating area. So is it the restaurant or is is door dash, either way its a terrible system. Im helping my son and DIL move out into their brand new home. We called for delivery and the meals came without chips or drinks at 2:45 when promised. We called immediately and the person answering asked if we wanted the rest of our meal.....not a smart question. OF COURSE we do so we were told its on its way. First off, we ordered 4 sandwiches and got 3. When the employee brought them to our table she didn't know which was which. On the way from Fredericksburg Texas to San Marco Texas to visit the giant Outlet Mall we stopped in to have lunch at Schlotzsky's. We had not been to one of these places in many years. They have really updated their game. I had the French dip sandwich on pretzel bread which was delicious. We also had a gluten-free pizza which was very good; and my wife had a gluten-free turkey sandwich which she said was very good. Their place was updated, well organized, clean, and comfortable.
