First time trying Firehouse Subs today for lunch. It was really good…read more I ordered the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket. It was very good. I got a medium, thinking it would be sufficient. Probably should have gotten the large tbh. Ordered as a group today (12 meals) and they delivered. Food was ready on time and hot and fresh. They even provided extra oil/vinegar since we were eating back at the office. Good service, good food. Checks all the boxes!

They weren't busy and so I didn't feel like I had to rush. The only issue was the girl at the register. Idk what her issue was but I asked "do you guys just have turkey sandwich " which she just looked at me sideways and points at the menu. Then got annoyed because I "didn't see it ". It literally took me a minute to even see that it was under "classic subs". Like damn. My bad. Anywho. She the goes "is that what you want ?" With an attitude. Ma'am calm down. Then I told her my toppings and I asked if they could put pickles in it. When I got my sandwich it had no pickles. I had the pickle spear but I also wanted the diced pickles. I mean am I going to flip out about pickles? I mean I caaaaann since I freaking love pickles but I wasn't. The sandwich was good though. Can't complain much about that. It's the service that I had an issue with. They weren't very welcoming to begin with. The restaurant was clean though so I give them that.

Exceeded Every Expectation - A Road Trip Gem! Sometimes the…read morebest discoveries happen when you trust the reviews, and this place absolutely delivered. On our drive back to Austin, we decided to stop here based on the stellar ratings - easily the best decision of our trip. Our table ordered quite the spread: crispy mozzarella sticks with that perfect cheese pull, golden onion rings with just the right crunch, two juicy burgers cooked to perfection, and two kids' chicken nugget meals that disappeared in minutes. But the star of the show? The Philly cheesesteak sandwich - an absolute masterpiece with tender, flavorful steak, melted cheese, and perfectly sautéed peppers and onions that had us fighting over the last bite. Here's how good it was: I literally ordered another Philly cheesesteak to go before we left. I couldn't bear the thought of not having one for later! Every single item exceeded expectations. The portions were generous, everything arrived hot and fresh, and the quality was restaurant-level despite being a roadside stop. This is the kind of place that turns a routine road trip into a memorable experience. If you're passing through, don't think twice - pull over and treat yourself. Your taste buds will thank you!

The lady that took out order also served us, she was very helpful with the menu. I heard this is family owned but I'm not really sure as I also heard they own Omar's. It's nice and clean, pretty spacious and chill. We went on a game night and they had the TVs on the game with good music playing in the background. We really enjoyed it here. We each ordered something different and unfortunately I didn't get a photo of my burger. I had the Chipotle Cheeseburger with the homemade fries, my husband got the Bacon Jam Smash Burger with onion rings. Our friends got the Patty Melt with onion rings and the Mushroom Lover with curly fries. We wiped our plates clean. One of our friends never finishes his plate, he did here. I hope the fries never change!! They're homemade cut and fried to perfection. They have a desert there on the counter which we've never had and the waitress gave us a sample and it was delicious!! I can keep on and on about this place. We will definitely be back.

I really wanted to like Ono Grindz, especially with a concept rooted in Hawaiian culture, but…read moreunfortunately the experience didn't reflect that at all. From the moment we walked in, the two employees working didn't greet us or acknowledge us, and their demeanor made it feel like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. There's a big difference between basic customer service and true hospitality and this place missed both. There were also some frustrations with how orders are handled. The business charges an extra $2.50 for maybe a tablespoon of gluten-free granola, but doesn't adjust pricing if ingredients are removed or unavailable. I understand most businesses don't do this but it sometimes evens out when items are removed and unavailable. For example, I was told after ordering that they were out of coconut, which was supposed to come on my item. I was asked if that was okay, but realistically, what's the alternative in that moment? It just felt like another instance of paying for something I didn't receive. At one point, the employee preparing our order walked past us multiple times without acknowledgment to speak with her coworker, which added to the overall feeling of being ignored. A place inspired by Hawaiian culture should carry some sense of "aloha", warmth, welcome, and care. Unfortunately, that was completely missing here. We won't be returning, and that's disappointing because the concept has so much potential.

A lot of missed notes that make every other Panera better: no slicing of the grape tomatoes,…read moreregular tomatoes are mealy and slaughtered by (I can only imagine) a butcher with a guillotine, bacon is all fatty parts and tastes like it was prepped the night/days before, vastly fewer options than other Panera's (vegetables as a whole are clearly hated here), bread is unrelentingly yet consistently stale, and I'm afraid that the people who put my orders together are wholly opposed to salt's existence. Today's offense (and review) comes courtesy of the green goddess avocado toast. It was shockingly effervescent, but I didn't eat enough to do too much harm to my GI tract. I hope. The three bites I had (first two bites were just bread because it was a barren, sparse wasteland of "toast") were appallingly not seasoned, which is impressive considering green goddess is in the name. How you've managed to shame the simplicity of avocado toast is lost on me. I'm baffled, sad, hyponatremic, and hungry. What's good? The chips. Which I'll now just buy at a Dallas location when the mood strikes because the bitter, unseasoned disappointment in this location is depressing. Especially in this economy, yikes.
