Great service - friendly and efficient staff. Delicious bagels! Love the concept of mixing everything together so that the veggies aren't falling out of the sandwich and getting super messy when everything is separate. One of the best bagels I've had in a while - will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area!

A really great place to get wonderful selection of breakfast bagels with various fillings. I am picky with my bagels, but for a decently priced and good quality breakfast bagels I highly recommend this place. I got their iced coffee also and it hit the right spot! Cannot wait to go back and try other breakfast bagels!

Walked .5 Mile in search of some delicious breakfast bagels and this place did not disappoint! While the dining area is nothing to write home about per say, it is clean and more than sufficient for a largely take out venue. The excellent service and delicious food certainly makes up for any lack of dining ambience. I ordered both the Loxsmith and the Dragon and both were absolutely fantasticBagels were fresh and the fillings were plentiful and delicious. Will definitely come back the next time we visit Philly.

Quick service. Run by friendly student workers. Place was clean and so was the bathrooms. The bagels were toasted crispy on the outside and pillowy inside. The flavor combinations were great! I really enjoyed the Philly roll which is sushi inspired with lox and wasabi+soy sauce. I felt the wasabi balanced the cream cheese. The scallions also added a nice texture. Don't ask why we put it in a blueberry bagel. It didn't effect the flavor overall though, just added a fun color. The Loxsmith was what I expected, classic and simple. I enjoyed the tomatoes inside too. The bagels are cut in half and it's easy to eat on the go. I'm usually very messy and I was able to munch as I explored UPenn campus without dropping anything. The balance between filling and bagel was also perfect. Highly recommend this quick morning, on-the-go snack.

Came here for breakfast. They have a pretty nice selection of different breakfast/lunch sandwiches. I opted to try their lox everything and wake and bacon sandwiches. The toppings and cream cheese were tasty. I thought the bagels were lacking in the taste department sadly. Tasted dry and not enough chew. The employees were very nice.

Needed to grab a quick breakfast and found this place. Street parking but was actually able to get a spot right away and right in front. The wake n bacon with hash brown was hard to eat because of everything in it. A bad thing? I think not! Lots of egg and bacon. I think you get more than your moneys worth.

Who would've thought of chopping up smoked salmon, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions and mixing it into the cream cheese? Schmear It did! Stopped by here on my last day in Philly and wow, it sure did not disappoint! The bagel was soft yet still dense like a bagel. I loved the fact that they mix everything that goes into a lox with the cream cheese. That way you don't have to worry about all the fixings oozing out/not getting the perfect bite!! Overall, for the price I'd DEFINITELY be returning here if I wanna get my bagel fix in!

Stumbled upon this cute modern spot while in the area to run an errand. Place is very clean, staff is attentive, and wearing nice branded uniforms. I thought it was a good touch. Bagels are great; had a Caprese bagel sandwich (vegan version). As a vegan, I appreciated the business being able to customize virtually any sandwich into a vegan version by using tofu (non-dairy) cream cheese. The presentation was neat and my sandwich tasted great! Also, very moderately priced. Will come back!

This place is amazing! This sandwich was one of, if not the, best breakfast sandwiches I have had. All of the employees were very kind and service was super fast. Definitely coming back soon!

The location was situated in what looked like an office building. There was no storefront but the signs leading to it and the Google map directions made it easy to enter the building and find the stand. We arrived shortly after opening and I ordered the Mexican egg sandwich on a lightly toasted everything bagel with the option of adding the jalapeño schmear for $1. Wow. The ingredients were fresh and the sandwich was made to order. The jalapeño schmear elevated the sandwich. Definitely will be stopping by on my next visit to Philly. I HAVE to give one of the lox schmears a try!

My friend and I made a pit stop here after coffee run and I must say... Spread has got some serious competition. Schmear actually gets your order right. I walked out of Schmear with actually spread "schmeared" on my bagel, unlike walking out of Spread only to find out much too later they forgot the "spread" (multiple times). Service: very friendly and attentive at Schmear. I've ran in to some POS's at Spread. Food: GREAT. I love the customizable bagels too. I got my first bagel here today and regret nothing. I asked for a standard bagel with cream cheese and strawberries and mangos as fruit. I expected them to spread the cream cheese and sprinkle fruit and and making a sandwich out of it. Nope. These guys scooped heaping spoonfuls of strawberries and mangos and mashed it into the cream cheese. Super generous with the cream cheese and fruits too. The bagel was still fluffy and this was at around 1 pm. Not to mention, Schmear is also gluten and vegan friendly. Not that it pertains to me, but definitely a shout out to all those with dietary restrictions. I think it may be dairy friendly too. Schmear welcomes all! I am super eager to go back for a savory bagel now! And they also have a frequent consumer card to get stamped per bagel/order!

CARBS IS NOT A DIRTY WORD! If you see me shamefully eating a fresh bagel with garlic and chive cream cheese hand whipped made to order, by myself in the corner...don't judge me..judge your mother. Just and overall wonderful Bagel shop. We all know they are hard to come by in this neck of the east coast.

Rather than waiting around, I was able to place my order easily through the kiosk and settled in to wait. What really stood out was the customer service. The manager noticed the delay, kindly apologized, and even offered me a drink and chips while I waited. That level of hospitality goes a long way and left a great impression. I ordered the Philly Special along with the Hot Honey chips, and both were delicious. The sandwich hit the spot, and the chips were a perfect addition. Yum! Sometimes it's not just the food that makes a place memorable, it's how you're treated. The team handled a busy moment with professionalism and kindness, and because of that, I left happy and impressed. I'll gladly be back the next time I'm in Philadelphia. My friend ordered the classic, I got the Philly special. We had 1 handcut fries. $46.65, $3.74 tax, $7.00 tip. Total = $57.39. You order at a kiosk & wait for your # to be called, with some nuances. The service was terrible. We waited 40 minutes before inquiring. 1 worker said everybody was waiting as long. He could not expedite. But I did see people with a higher order number get served their complete meal before we did. At some point we got fries. We waited 15 minutes. My friend got his sandwich after we nearly finished the fries. Another 10 minutes & I got my classic cheesesteak, because it took more effort to make. For ~$28/person, we shouldn't wait an hour for staggered food. The staff were hard working & pleasant, just overwhelmed. The cheesesteaks were fantastic. But the fries were REALLY over salted. Shay's could be a 4, even a 5 if they fixed the service. I really loved the sandwiches. Lots of meat, perfect cheese melt, nice chunky onions, peppers, & great bread. I'm a fan. Fix the service & don't over salt the fries. You got something good here, take it the rest of the way.

You can subtly taste the sesame in each bite. Sometimes you'll crunch on a small sesame seed in between bites, surprising you with its toasty flavors. The meat - pause - is cooked so well with the Cooper Sharp cheese, you get a few burnt ends which provides a nice crunch every now and then. The meat itself is seasoned well, but doesn't overpower all the other aspects of the sandwich. It does its job, sometimes singing a split during the song but never out performing the rest of the band members. The cheese - the Cooper Sharp they suggest to go with their cheesesteak is deliciously intentional. No wiz here, which is both a positive and a negative but man does the cheese work well with the meat. It cuts through but doesn't work too hard in the symphony of the sandwich. It sings along harmoniously with the onions, bread, and meat. The service was fast and quick. Very kind at the counter. Angelos is fast paced, when you're ready type your name and number at the counter, let them know your order and wait a couple minutes. It's fast paced, loud, and energetic. Truly nothing less than what I thought the City of Brotherly Love would provide. 5/5 great experience,

Ok, onto the eats! 1. Della Casa ($18): A 12-inch soft seeded sando layered with a schmear of balsamic sundried pepper spread, fresh mozz, and hot cappicola dried with Calabrian chili oil and filled with fresh arugula and house roasted eggplant slices. This was good, however, the eggplant felt kind out of place. The slices were large and a little bit too mushy for my liking and it felt like it could have benefitted from an extra meat or contrast to the softness from the mozz, such as fried eggplant instead. All in all a 7 out of 10. Good but wouldn't order again. 2. Turkey Salumeria ($18.50): Another (delicious) 12-inch soft seeded roll saturated with a delicious house creamy balsamic dressing (could have honestly drank this) + mild prov, LTO, sliced turkey and really great cherry pepper relish. This was a pretty basic, but all the parts came together to make a solid sandwich. I wouldn't necessarily order again but the combination of ingredients and the hellish relish made it a 7.5 out of 10. All in all, the quality of the ingredients, the combinations available on the menu and the stellar staff all make LK popular for good reason. While the selections we had this go around didn't wow us (just lacking a certain je ne sais quoi) I do look forward to going back to try the kale chx caesar, some of their cutlet sandos, roast beef and pork and of course the tomato pie and CCC's!

They have a couple of vegan options and GF rolls for extra $$. The staff was more than happy to give recommendations and their favs. My first lunch was The Eye - $15 Ribeye steak, Cooper Sharp American, fried onions came on a seeded Liscio's roll. If you enjoy the somewhat newer Cooper sharp style that's out there you'll like theirs. The Cooper sharp was gooey, mixed in well with the meat and on the heavier side. The ribeye was thin cut, delicious and the portion was pretty hefty. Second visit I went with - The Nad - $15 Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, Mike's Hot Honey that came on an unseeded Liscio's roll. The portion size was good, chicken was fresh with good breading, the hot honey was a tad on the heavy side, but the flavors all came together pretty good on this one. Sweet, salty, light bitterness from the arugula and some heat from the hot honey. I added Thin Cut Idaho fries to make it a combo for $3 extra and I have to say they were delicious. They smelled like McD's and tasted similar. They are cash only, but have an ATM on site. You can use a card if you order online. The one bathroom they have was pretty clean and organized.
