Dr. Polsinelli was so thorough and has the nicest personality! Turns out he's married to his partner optometrist, Dr. Miyamoto, who graduated from the same high school I did! Such a small world. His exam and explanations were beyond my expectations. I mean I've been told for years that I had dry eyes, but no one ever said how to treat it other than buy eye drops. Dr. Polsinelli actually gave me a lesson on home remedies and what causes the dry eyes. After talking about my life changes, he also told me he offers free pediatric eye exams to children 6-12 months old. Wow! I just can't say enough about his practice and I look forward to meeting his wife one day!

The clinic staff was sweet, they made the place feel comfortable and took care of what I needed on the paperwork side. It seemed like the clinic was a little short staffed and people were covering other positions, but overall everyone did a nice job. The doctor (Dr. Kevie Kawasaki) is an OD and she was so welcoming and kind. Her presence and grace to just make everything better in the clinic without blinking an eye was very obvious. Seeing a doctor in the clinic who isn't afraid to also be a leader and do it all was pretty great. It was clear no job was below her and she just wanted to better the space for everyone. The receptionist informed us that we would need to make a separate appointment because she was leaving in three minutes. It was 4:57 p.m. I work in retail myself, and I cannot imagine telling a customer I couldn't help them because I was about to get off shift -- especially when they had an appointment at 4:00 and were simply trying to make a purchase. What was most concerning was that the receptionist said she couldn't assist us because her boss doesn't want to pay overtime. That's not just inconvenient -- it sends a clear message that your office prioritizes payroll policies over patient care. My elderly mother now has to come back a second time for something that should have been a natural next step in today's visit. It's not only an inconvenience; it also feels dismissive of her time and her needs. I hope you'll take this feedback seriously. At the very least, it seems reasonable to expect a bit more flexibility, compassion, and accommodation -- especially when dealing with elderly patients who already made the effort to come in for an appointment
