I first met Dr. Matt when he was in dental school at OSU. I needed some dental work done at the time, which was in the mid 90's so I went to the OSU dental clinic for treatment. Dr. Matt was the student dentist assigned to me. I needed quite a bit of dental work done back then so I was in the clinic a lot to see Dr. Matt. I developed a good rapport with him during this time especially while we sat around waiting for a professor to stop by and review his work. This was a step that all student doctors had to complete for each patient and my review was always acknowledged with nice work. I continued to visit the dental clinic until Dr. Matt had finally graduated and was going to be out of town for a while. I knew this day was coming and for the most part my dental work was complete so I didn't return to the OSU dental clinic. Dr. Matt treated me well but he wasn't there anymore so it just didn't feel right returning. I knew his dad was a dentist in Dublin so after a summer had passed I visited his office. I figured if I couldn't have Dr. Matt as a dentist then seeing his dad would be the next best thing. I scheduled an appointment and went to his dad's office. To my surprise Dr. Matt came out to the waiting room to greet me after hearing me sign in. He had returned to practice dentistry with his dad. I have been with Dr. Matt ever since. I appreciate how he keeps his dental practice current with new treatments and technology. This certainly separates him from the pack but most importantly he has treated me and my family very well. I have to admit that I have had less than stellar experiences with Dentists in the distant past, and that has always made me hesitate to try a new one. The dentist that I had been most comfortable in going to for years is in Florida. I now live in Ohio and recently needed to make a quick appointment to get some dental work done. After looking up local dentists via my insurance's web site, I took to Yelp to help narrow down the nearby choices. That was how I decided to first try Dr. Matt. I have now been back there twice - first for urgent work, and next for my regular cleaning, and I have been very happy. The staff is knowledgeable, very responsive to my inquiries, and friendly. The technology that they use there is top-notch, from the 3D Digital imaging instead of the old X-Rays I was used to in the past, to the CAD CAM equipment... all very impressive to a technical person like me! For me it all hinges on this though; was I happy with the results, and the way I was treated? For that alone I would give them a great rating! For everything else - being easy to schedule appointments with, having a good grasp of technology and communication, it just makes me appreciate them more. This is the new bar that has been set for other dental practices to live up to! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a Dentist in the Dublin area. Schneider Family Dental absolutely exceeded my expectations! I moved here from Indiana, so I did not have a dentist here yet. One day before leaving for my honeymoon (which was out of the country!) I developed a very bad toothache and I needed to have it looked at ASAP before I left. I looked around for dentists with good reviews, and Schneider Family Dental looked the best, so I gave them a call. The receptionist was SO nice, and she told me they would get me in right away! Back home, getting in to the dentist on the day you called was almost unheard of, so I was delighted! Dr. Matt Schneider and all of his staff were so welcoming and sweet to me, and I felt so comfortable there. Debbie was my hygienist, and she was so kind and gentle. One more thing I have to mention. Back in Indiana, I had a bad experience with my previous dentist who would poke around and was extremely rough on my teeth, which made them hurt and ended up lying to me saying that I had multiple cavities. That dentist put me through so much discomfort and pain that I never even went back. Dr. Matt Schneider took x-rays of my teeth and was HONEST and told me I had NO cavities and that my teeth looked great! This was HUGE to me...the fact that I can trust that the dentist is honest and has my best interest at heart, rather than just trying to get more money out of me. We were referred to Dr Matt by a very good friend approx 10 years ago. We have only had positive experiences with them! Dr. Matt and our Dental Hygienist Kelly make going to the dentist a delight and actually make sitting in a chair for an hour enjoyable. I'm always telling my friends how much I love going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned. This is something you don't hear often. There's so many things I appreciate about Schneider Dental. My family moved from Dublin to Lewis Center nearly 2 years ago, but we still make the trek here because they're so great. This review comes after I took my 2-year old son for his first dentist visit yesterday. He's a few weeks shy of 3. I fully expected him to freak out and we'd have to just turn around and leave. Instead, Debbie and Dr. Matt were so nice and gentle with him, explaining each and every step they were doing. He was a bit scared of the pic, so Debbie quickly diverted him and didn't press it. She said she wanted to introduce him to as many tools as possible before he got overwhelmed. He did amazing and I know I have the staff to thank! My husband and I have been going to Schneider Family Dental for over 10 years now and I wouldn't imagine going anywhere else! The staff is amazing and has been around forever and feels like family whenever we go. My 6 year old daughter always asks when it is her next time to go because she enjoys being there so much! WE LOVE the Halloween party they have for the kids and its so nice for everyone to always know your name and family. They are all so knowledgable about dental care and issues and give great advice on whatever is going on with your teeth. Our entire family has used the dental services provided by Schneider Family Dental for years. The dental work performed has been excellent and their preventive dental hygiene advice has payoff "big time". After each cleaning the dental hygienest always advised regular flossing and scrubbing of teeth at regulated intrivals throughout the day and even provided the actual tooth paste and floss. We have taken their good advice and today Dr. Matt advised I was cavity free and "good to go",which is music to my ears. I always have a great experience here! Dr. Matt and his staff are always friendly and professional, and go out of their way to make appointments as comfortable as possible. I had been to several dentists in the past who recommended lots of unnecessary dental work, such as replacing all of my existing fillings. Also, I struggled with severe pain in my jaws and front teeth for years. My first appointment with Dr. Matt was all it took for him to figure out that I was clenching my teeth at night. I started using a night guard, and my pain has been gone completely. Also, all the cavities that other dentists told me I had, Dr. Matt didn't see on the x-rays. Great staff and wonderful professionalism! There is little to no wait once you arrive for your appointment. The TVs in each room is a nice touch. Cleanliness is top notch and the service doesn't get any better. They never leave you guessing what's going to happen as they are there to explain everything every step of the way. They also make wonderful recommendations for other services if they are needed. I like that they accept my insurance and the process is seamless. The only thing that I didn't like was that there isn't much privacy when getting a cleaning because you can hear every conversation that is being had next to you. I can't thank Dr. Matt and his office staff enough for their kind, compassionate treatment given to me after breaking a tooth off at the gum. Dr. Matt and his crew are one big happy family and every time I go in for an appointment they make me feel like I'm part of the family as well. The most impressive and most important thing is they listen. My husband and I recently moved from Pinehurst, NC to Hamilton, OH and needed to find a new dentist. On New Year's Eve we were visiting our son in Dublin, OH and my husband broke off part of a molar. Our son was using this dental practice and he called Dr. Matt and Dr. Matt said to come over after 5pm and he would look at it. My husband ended up with a new crown on Monday and we ended up with a great, new dentist!. We drove 2 hours about 6 weeks later for our 6 month exams and we both agreed it was the best visit ever!
