This place just keeps getting better & better! There's definitely something special happening here for sure! You can feel the energy the moment you walk Thru the door! J.P. & John had the place jamming this weekend so well I had to go back for 2nds! Btw, Im pretty sure that I've already started a review so I'll Cleanup if need be. However, I've now almost made my way around the menu and all I can say is the foods BANGING. You wouldn't think a spot like this is gonna be a place you'd go for dinner, but I was wrong. Every dish is SLAMMING! There's usually a few options all have been fantastic (check photos). My Favorites so far have been the Salmon over salad or pasta and the Steak. The Flatbreads would be the first place I'd go if I had a pizza craving, they're amazing! Also, the whole staff works in such unison you feel like you're in an Oldschool Family Owned & ran type of joint! That's a compliment btw! But true! Lol. Like i said, there's something special happening here...

Birthday Dinner at Cork It Katy I celebrated my birthday at Cork It and it was absolutely perfect! The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and full of charm -- exactly the kind of place you want to relax and enjoy great company. The wine selection was top-notch, and the craft cocktails were delicious and fun The staff went above and beyond to make the night feel special. From the warm welcome to the attentive service, I felt genuinely celebrated the whole evening! If you're looking for a cute, elevated spot in Katy to enjoy great food, drinks, and vibes -- Cork It is the move. Can't wait to go back!

We decided to have a girls evening here. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We went on a Tuesday they close at 9, but stay open later on other days. It's was awkwardly quiet when we walked in so we asked them to turn the music up some. We didn't realized they closed early but didn't feel rush. That was really nice of them. Everything was great and we would go back.

So happy I found this local hidden gem!! As a wine lover- this place has a perfect balance of wine & good food. Everything is made to order so everything is perfectly crafted just for you. The environment is so intimate so it's perfect for a date night or girls night. Definitely recommend the steak with Alfredo pasta!!

The bartender Daniel Enrique Rodriguez is an amazing bartender and is able to make drinks as you like them. The service is excellent and the food is very good. The ambiance is relaxing and they have live music. He will be back end of August starting on the 22nd of August for 3 days. Love the lavender drink he made

Upon their departure we dined...AND RETURNED!! The music selection included a bassist that evening which included the likes of Tool, Alice In Chains, Sublime, classic, contemporary, and all over the place music. Again. Fun. Lucky came to say hola as did both owners. So. What else can I say?!? I BS'd my way through some Greek (not kidding) had lots of wine, fun, and closed out the night. Yes. We had the spinach artichoke dip, chicken flautas, charcuterie board and a turtle cheesecake for dessert. Everything was great, I would definitely come back here. Me and my girls were looking for a cute spot for a girls' night and came across this little winery…read morebar close to my house. I tried making reservations online all week but couldn't find an option. I even called the day of and no one picked up, so I was a little nervous walking in without a reservation. Thankfully, they were able to seat us right away--apparently a lot of reservations had canceled or no-showed. The place itself is super cute. Not too busy when we first arrived, but it definitely picked up at one point. Everyone was friendly when we walked in, and the wine specials were amazing. I ordered the Pinot Noir flight, and for the price, it just made sense--totally worth it. Now the food... SO good. Everything was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We tried the empanadas, the ceviche, the mussels, and I got the steak with shrimp (not sure the exact name). It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and honestly it was phenomenal. I'd come back just for that dish alone. I definitely want to return for happy hour and maybe another girls' night. The only downside: our first server. I'm not sure if he was flustered, annoyed, or just having a day, but his energy toward our table was not it. We came out to relax and get away from attitudes at home, not to deal with more. He seemed impatient and uninterested, didn't offer recommendations, took our order and rushed off, and overall treated us very differently from the table next to us--who he was super sweet to, even giving them a hug at one point. I was the first one there and he was nice initially, but once the rest of my friends arrived, his whole demeanor changed. We asked for a different server, and that made ALL the difference. The second server--the gentleman with the bald head and beard--was phenomenal. Patient, helpful, friendly, and made us feel welcome. 100% recommend sitting in his section! Overall, the prices were reasonable, the drinks and food were delicious, and the vibe was great. I'll definitely be back--just hopefully with a smoother reservation process and NOT with that first server. Happy hour and steak night, here I come!

When we visited last May it was a less than stellar performance based on food and service. The wine was fine. Ambiance is fine. My poke chop which I've enjoyed in the past (9.5/10) was a 7/10 and that's probably me being generous because the wine was excellent on the May visit. My wife's steak which she raved about in the past (9.5/10) swore she'd not return after the May visit 6/10. This weekend 8/21-22/26 FSat, we'll return to see if they'll SHINE once again or if they'll be permanently banished from our Cypress dining options. I wish them the best. Have a good day. TYJD

The décor, wine list, menu, comfortable seating, and cozy atmosphere make it such a special spot. They offer wines for every taste and budget, and the staff is knowledgeable when asked for recommendations. That's why this is difficult for me to write. Despite visiting frequently, I've consistently found the customer service to be unwelcoming. The service has a strange tone, and it isn't limited to one employee they all seem to share the same indifferent, slightly annoyed demeanor. The experience feels less like genuine hospitality and more like, "You're here what can I get you?" On my most recent visit, others in my group noticed and commented on the same thing without any prompting from me. Since they had never been before, it confirmed that it wasn't just my perception. One small interaction captured the overall tone. We asked whether they happened to have a birthday candle, and an employee responded in an annoyed tone by pointing to the candle on our table which, realistically, no one would put on a birthday dessert. We completely understood that they might not have one; it wasn't an unreasonable expectation or request. A simple, friendly response like, "Unfortunately, we don't, but we do have some delicious desserts," would have been perfectly fine. It wasn't the answer that bothered us. it was the way we were made to feel for asking. It may seem like a small interaction, but great hospitality is built on small moments. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting, but unfortunately, the service doesn't reflect that same feeling. People return to places where they feel welcomed and appreciated, especially in a city like Houston with so many wonderful food and wine options. I genuinely want The Library to thrive because it has everything else it needs to remain a true neighborhood favorite.
