This place is an absolute sham. They don't even check that their cars can start before they give you the keys for a test drive. On top of that, who pairs you with a salesperson that doesn't know how to drive a manual car if you are test driving a manual car?! The worst thing about this dealership is their VERY UNCLEAR pricing policy. What they call "one price one person" means that their prices are non negotiable. First of all, if you have a policy like that, you need to be WAY more clear about it. A catchy nonsense slogan is not going to communicate that clearly. We test drove a car, loved it, paid out of pocket for a mechanic to look at it, and then found out that Schomp would rather lose the sale than cut the price by a mere $200. When I originally purchased my car from Schomp in May, it took four hours to even just get the keys and get out of there. They changed sales people on us twice, no one knew what the other was doing, and they could not get their sh*t together. The manager offered to buy my family and I dinner. It took him weeks to reimburse me, but whatever, they were in the middle of a move and I get it. I took my car in yesterday because my check airbag light has been coming on since I bought the vehicle. I also hit a coyote a couple of weeks ago and wanted to get an estimate on the damage. When I originally made the appointment, the gal told me that this would only take a few minutes and I could just wait while it was getting done. When I was talking to the guy, he told me it would take two hours and didn't offer me a ride anywhere or a loaner car, nothing. Luckily I could have someone pick me up. Two phone calls from me and almost FIVE HOURS LATER, whoever was working on my car finally got back from lunch and informed me that because of the coyote damage they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my airbag check light. There was also possible damage from an animal chewing on the wire for my air bag system. Oh, and I owed them $67 for "looking" at my car. Not only did they waste half of my day, I missed work, I also had to pay them to tell me nothing could be done. I was livid. I know I am not one of your more "higher end" customers, just a middle class single mom, but don't waste my time and don't rip me off. read more

One price dealings eliminate sales guys looking for commission. The man we worked with was nice, but the guy who greeted us at the door looked like he was trying to join the crew of Entourage. Showroom is a little cramped but that won't be a problem when they move to the new location off of C470. Drive the car a block away from the lot and you take control. Other than being responsible for any tickets during your ride, handle to beamer as you please. I was very impressed with the test bits he had us perform. The sales people also handle financing. You won't sign on the X then be passed to management then to financing. They work with different institutions to find the best interest rate for you. read more

As an early graduation/birthday gift I decided I'd give myself a new AWD vehicle and after test driving a few subcompact SUVs, I decided I'd go with the Honda CR-V. However, I didn't want just any Honda CR-V, I wanted the EX model in Copper Sunset Pearl color with a dark interior. The only place that had one in stock is Schomp so I sent a pricing request through their website and started working with Craig Christopherson through email and phone and came in a week later which also happened to be the opening day at their new dealership. The experience at the dealership was great, it's no-haggle, they are transparent about pricing, and have large screens to go over everything in detail. They also have an open service area and a lounge with a coffee bar where customers can relax and enjoy a beverage while waiting for their car. I recently recruited for a national chain of dealerships, and I know this is the direction that all dealerships are moving towards and Schomp has done an amazing job with it. Schomp has a "one Price, one Person, one hour," goal with each customer. Basically once you decide to purchase the goal is to get you out in an hour give or take. That did not happen with me, however I think this had a lot to do with the fact that I was there on the very first day of their new location and they were still working everything out. Besides, the experience was such a positive one, I would recommend them to everyone I know. It really is as good as it gets. read more

Finally, after 10 years of taking the train and the bus, we got a second car!! I found it online, called up immediately and found out that the car of our (realistic and broke) dreams was spoken for. I was so bummed, but I gave my name and number in hopes the deal wouldn't work out. Well, it didn't and off we went to check it out. 2 hours later, we were driving off the lot in a previously loved Forester! Very exciting, and very well deserved. Staff was realistic, honest, not pushy, and comfortable. Not once did they try to talk us into something we didn't want. When it came to financing, they gave us several options. No dealer fees, extended warranties on used cars, and good coffee. Nice! I highly recommend Ralph Schomp for used cars. And if the day ever comes that we might be able to purchase a brand new car, we will certainly consider using them again. read more

I bought my used car from Justin Tomsic. The buying process was easy. It's the after that's the problem. I was told the car was checked by there mechanic, but I don't believe it really was. After having the car a week I took to independent mechanic to have it inspected. Overall the car is fine, but there are things wrong that if it was indeed checked by a Schomp mechanic would have been easily found. I have emailed management at Schomp about my concerns & as of today I've heard nothing back. It appears that all Schomp cares about is getting the sale & there is no customer service after the car is purchased. Update 7/21/15. I received a call from the Sales Manager Jason Klingsmen about my experience & I went over my issues. I brought my car into Schomp Service for them to inspect today. They did agree with a couple of the items the independent mechanic found & have agreed to fix those things for me at no cost. I'm very happy that Schomp stepped up & fixed the items. I bought a 2003 Poniac Grand Prix about 2 weeks ago. The guy who sold it to me is Mehdi Kaveh. He didn't tell me that the gas meter was broken and that it would always say its full. I have a 30 day warranty so I tried contacting him after I bought the car but he's been avoiding my messages and does not even respond to email. I then contacted their customer service and they just told me that someone will be contacting me as soon as they can. I'm still waiting... We had been to many dealers and dealt with the usual back and forth negotiations, even walking away from a deal for a Ford Explorer. We decided to take the hour drive south to have a look at the late model used Honda pilots and see if we could find a good deal. We arrived and met Navin, who informed us of their 'One price, one person, one hour, policy, which made me even less trusting to be honest! He took us to a few vehicles, which were all priced at or below blue book, so I was happily surprised. We found a used 2018 with the features we wanted, but still wanted to think about it for the night. Navin then told us to take it home and see if we really liked it, just bring it back tomorrow! Wow! Never had that offer before! We actually found a couple things we didn't like about that year, nothing major, just preferences. So we brought it back and said we'd have to pass. Then Jason, their trade in manager gave us a solid trade in offer and let us look at used versions of the other brands we were considering. After checking them out, having Navin and Cara show incredible patience and determination to make us happy, and looking at a 2019 pilot, my wife fell In love and we happily purchased the new vehicle. We've never had such a good experience with a car purchase! From the care put into a place for our kids waiting, to the sales teams patience, to the final presentation and technical walk through of all the details, we were wowed! With that said, their prices are very reasonable & their staff is wonderful! I worked with Jeff Thompson over the phone, and Taylor Hayes in person. Taylor was great - patient - and made the entire process easy. Jeff & Caleb Thompson were also beyond helpful - and I am very thankful! I searched all over the US for a particular Mini Cooper S Convertible with certain features and within my "idea budget".... there was mediocre out there... but then I spotted my baby... Ralph Schomp Mini, Littleton, CO. I made a phone call - applied online, and the next day I was approved and booking a ticket from Houston to pick her up the next morning! Two days later I'm in Colorado. They were not able to pick me up from the airport due to the crazy short notice I gave them, but they did cover the cost of my Uber ride to Littleton (if you haven't Ubered you DEFINITELY should - beats a grimy taxi by 500%). I arrived before Jeff was scheduled to come in - which is why they had arranged for me to work with Taylor (super friendly, knowledgeable, diligent, & easy on the eyes ladies). I was escorted to the Mini I had fallen in love with online - and let me tell you, in person she was even more perfect! Cream, with blue stripes, & a denim Convertible top!!!! Ahhhhh! Hello love! Before buying my Accord from Ralph Schomp in 2008; I only had bad experiences with car dealerships. I online shopped for a low mileage Accord with a great price and found the car, I then bought from Schomp, with no pressure and no games. Devon Manzanares, Service Advisor, is courteous, friendly, has a great attitude, and is very hellpful! It is very reassuring to have people like Devon, to count on, for the proper maintenance of my car. I bought a new Honda in August of 2007 from this dealership. They are a pretty good outfit. The sales person, Chuck Leary, was very attentive and after buying my car, made sure to call and see how things were going. There was an issue with a piece of interior trim that needed replacing--turns out the whole headliner was bad so they replaced that too. This sadly took 4 times to fix due to a lousy technician but the service manager took care of the problem and all is well now. I give full stars for the salesman Chuck as as well as the service manager Bill but have to deduct stars for having to wait 4 times to get this thing finally fixed. I shopped around for the best prices and this place did indeed have the best price. read more

My family has owned Hondas for decades and, until recently, found Schomp to be an exemplary dealership. However, in looking for a new CR-V Hybrid, I was given an email quote by their Internet Sales Manager, WIll Mele, that seemed reasonable. Upon follow-up with a sales rep, I was told that price would be honored with a required ADDITIONAL $4,000 purchase of dealer accessories! The rep said the hybrids are so popular that all the dealers are doing this/getting away with it. I respectfully told them this was a deal-breaker but they would not honor the original price. read more

Schomp BMW is a terrible dealership. I purchased a BMW from them about one month ago. Certain things that I were told were completely false. I was supposed to have wheels replaced on my certified pre-owned vehicle. A week after the purchase, my salesman told me the parts were in and that the wheels would be put on the vehicle. I brought it in to have the work done, and they called me to tell me everything was ready. I went to pick up the vehicle and nothing had been done. The same wheels were still on the vehicle. Next I talked to the SA who happened to be a nice guy. He told me no parts were there. To his defense, he wasn't the one who promised me anything and didn't really have authority to resolve the issue. So I went and spoke with the sales manager. He was familiar with the issue and gave me the classic run-around. He said the wheels would be "repaired" not "replaced" which is DEFINITELY NOT what was discussed. I have an email from the salesperson stating that the wheels would be replaced. The manager said he would have the salesperson call me the next day when he was in the office. Obviously he never called back. Just spoke with (about 4 weeks later), and he said they would repair the wheels. Either way, this was a straight up lie. Then he decided to pawn off his lie on someone else who supposedly told him that the wheels would be new. On top of that, they were told me that Schomp customers can get complimentary rides to the airport. This was also a lie. Apparently they might be able to give you a ride if your car is there for service. When I was purchasing the car the salesperson pulled the classic sleazeball move and gave me this whole story about people in sales who use the service all the time. I was sitting in the office with my girlfriend who listened to the whole conversation. When I spoke with him I told him he lied about the rides to the airport. He obviously denied telling me about rides to the airport. Clearly, I have no reason or motive to make up a story like that. It was simply what I had been told. It wasn't a big deal that the wheels weren't replaced, but its the fact that they promised me they would. On top of that, they even told me the wheels were replaced when they in fact were not! I also did not purchase the car on the premise that I would be getting free rides to the airport. It just seemed like a great complimentary service for customers, so when I found out this was complete BS, it was just icing on the cake. The whole experience would have been much better if they just told the truth and didn't lie about all this little stuff. It's not like the wheels or the rides to the airport were a dealbreaker. In fact, I would have purchased the car anyways. This was a classic over-promise, under-deliver. I will not be recommending them to anyone in the future. read more

The service department is extremely shady, I've had multiple bad experiences. Back in 2014 I brought my car in because the paint was peeling on the roof, doors, and trunk. I was still covered under the extended warranty and they told me that they would only repaint the roof because the doors and trunk aren't covered. Well it turns out that they lied to my face. I recently found out that all affected areas WERE COVERED! So now they tell me that there's nothing they can do since the extended warranty is over. They're probably high-fiving each other since they saved Honda a few thousand dollars by lying to the face of their customer. The second bad experience was when my grab handle had fallen out of the metal clip. I asked them how much it would be to repair and they told me that I NEEDED a new one for $121. So I took the car home and realized that I just had to squeeze the metal clip and the handle popped back in. So that's twice now that they lied to me. I'm considering not buying another Honda so that I can avoid these people in the future. You can't trust ANYTHING these people tell you. You need to do a ton of research and verify what they say is accurate. And if you're still covered under the warranty then you have to make sure they're doing exactly what the warranty says. Decline anything they want you to pay for and take it to an honest mechanic to fix. I heard Mile High Honda is better, but I've never personally been there. There are only a couple honest mechanics around Denver, good luck. read more

I take my old '97 Civic here for all of its needs. Yes. Because it deserves to go to the dealership. I've finally decided that it's worth it to me to pay the premium to take my car to the mothership to get serviced rather than a random mechanic who can probably do a decent job, but tends to miss things that Honda-specific mechanics don't. Bonus = they keep a super-detailed record of everything about your car, they have an excellent waiting room (wifi, fancy coffee, gobs of chairs/tables, free shuttle service, etc), and are all around nice. They're also open pretty early, have a night-time key drop, and truly take excellent care of your car. I look forward to coming here. Highly recommended. read more

I decided to purchase my first brand new car at Schomp, and am so glad I did. Before I stepped into Schomp, I had been shopping around at various dealerships, and felt very "wheeled and dealed" by sleazy sales guys at all of them (you know the drill- they give you a price, go "talk to their manager", come back 30 minutes later, the price goes up, and so on..) Barf. As a 20-something single female I felt taken advantage of at each place, to the point that I started bringing my dad with me to each dealership visit. .... until Schomp. I walked in one afternoon already feeling tremendous frustration with the car buying experience, and was so refreshed by all interactions with staff at Schomp. I worked with Mehdi, who was incredibly helpful and kind. He walked me through every detail, answered my never-ending questions, helped me crunch numbers for every possible financing situation, provided any and all possible information, all while putting ZERO pressure on me actually buying the car. Schomp does not negotiate prices, but the price they gave me for my vehicle was actually less than what my dad and I had tirelessly negotiated with other dealers. The entire Schomp experience was positive and stress-free. I truly appreciate the service at Schomp, and will buy my next car here too. read more

First time in the new Honda Schomp dealership (since they moved from the old office on Broadway) to get my car serviced. The place is impressive. One suggestion: for the shuttle lounge in the service area where customers wait to shuttle to drive us home or to work, put a sign above the sitting area that says, "Shuttle wait area." It will help customers know where to go without asking. This new dealership is spacious and considerable $ is invested to make a delightful ambience, n it works. Customers can tell the difference. I had wanted a MINI ever since I first saw the new ones emerge in 2000. After five years of driving my Corolla and beating it to pieces (as most sixteen-year-olds tend to do with cars), I could feel that it was time to start thinking about an upgrade. I did not even for a moment consider anything other than a MINI Cooper. And so, on a Thursday afternoon I made my down to Littleton and into the Ralph Schomp MINI dealership. My sales person, Don, is fantastic. He had the answer to everything I asked, and so much more. I think I test drove about seven MINIs that day and the last one I got into, a beautiful dark red with silver top, as soon as I started the car, I knew it was meant to be mine. Within minutes, I was back at the dealership and ready to sign my soul away for the car. Luckily, the dealership apparently does not deal in souls so instead they helped me find a great loan, with a good percentage and as soon as I finished signing everything I found my new car already waiting for me inside the building. Gentle readers, this was the moment I fell in love. It was a beautiful moment. And the fact that my experience leading up to that moment had been absolutely flawless, I will be ever grateful for. Car buying hadn't been fun since I was 16 years old and had no idea what credit was, let alone the worry of a monthly payment. After a few negative experiences with a pushy dealership and a scamming individual seller I was frustrated and over it. Then I talked to Singh Ahjja. He was knowledgeable, friendly and real. One price was great, no pushing just information. No up-selling to a vehicle I didn't want or couldn't afford. The process was painless and dare I say fun. I love my "new" used Honda CR-V. Thanks Schomp. *The financial department had some negative reviews but Curtis Mannisto was so easy to work with. He answered all my questions, informed me of all my options, but if I wasn't interested that was OK and the end of it. I'm happy with the extra windshield and dent coverage and will update my review if I have to use them. read more

Brought the car back in 24hrs and then 10 days later they processed my loan charge me for a car that I didn't even have (sales didn't even tell financing we returned the vehicle) - awful worst experience ever! Seriously in need of a new car, I had been kicking around the idea of buying a Mini for a year or so. Finally faced with the conundrum of throwing good money after bad on repairs, I went out to Ralph Schomp to check it out and do a test drive. From the initial greeting all the way to driving off in my new car two days later, this was by far the best experience I've ever had with an automobile dealer. Vincent Q. and Natasha G. guided me through the process flawlessly. Vincent is very knowledgable about Mini's in particular and cars in general, so this helps out a great deal. He's personable, friendly and very available, giving me his cell number within ten minutes of the initial meeting. Natasha also was a pleasure to work with. She did her homework and was ready for me on the financial side of this deal. I appreciate being able to sit down, sign the necessary papers and be on my way. One note - The Mini section of this dealership is not working on commission, they are all salaried employees. This basically changes the whole dynamic of the process. I for one appreciate not setting up an adversarial relationship on price negotiations if I plan to work with the dealer in the future. Since this is the only authorized service center in Colorado, there would be no point in that, I need a good relationship with the dealer on this new car purchase. Timing is everything as the price offer this time of year is attractive. One advantage of not doing a pre-order is self limitation - you pick from what's available and in some act of universal providence, the exact Mini I wanted was sitting there. I contacted them regarding one I had found online and within a very short time, Beau Kallio was calling me to tell me more about the vehicle. He was friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing. Unfortuantely, the only time I could make it into the store to see the car was on a day where Beau was not available so he put me in contact with Alex Giner who was also a nice change from the typical car-salesman, wheeler-dealer type. He walked me through every detail of the vehicle I expressed interest in without being pushy. Jason Klingensmith then patiently walked me through the finances of the purchase making me feel at ease about this large purchase. The Schomp service department has been extremely attentive and helpful fixing an issue I am having with my 2018 Pilot. Julien has always taken the time to talk with me about my concerns and getting the problem resolved. His mechanics have been top notch in researching and fixing the problem I have been experiencing as well. I have always had the opportunity to talk with Julien or the mechanics directly. Every person I have talked with has been respectful and professional. I wouldn't want to buy a vehicle any place else because I truly feel that Schomp cares about their customers and they want them to be happy with their purchase. I am not confident other Honda dealerships would have taken the time and energy to get my situation resolved so that I can go back to loving my Honda. read more

I'm the one who builds a spreadsheet on what I want in a car and sets a budget. I spent 2 months looking at cars with just about every dealer in the metro Denver area. I found myself returning to Schomp Honda several times because their cars were indeed priced lower than everyone else. Finally, I found my dream car there that met my wish list and was within my budget. I worked with Josh Jack and Evan. Both were very professional and friendly. I found this particular car dealer to be one of the most friendliest, professionally run places I visited. You're greeted from cheerful staff at the entrance and quickly introduced to a friendly, easy going sales, knowledgeable person. I didn't feel any pressure or rudeness that does still exist from some dealers. "Closing" the deal was also quick and efficient, even though it was on a busy Saturday. The coolest thing happened after my sale. I received an email and 2 phone calls from the manager & staff to make sure I received everything I was promised. I told them I needed the second electronic key and 2 days later I was in and out within minutes after they made the key. The service department is very efficiently run with plenty of staff to get you in and out quickly. I also spent time with their Product Specialist who instructed me on how to operate several things. When I was all done, my new baby was returned to sparkling after they ran it through the wash! I'm highly impressed with this dealership and happily recommend them! read more

I noticed that my under engine cover had become loose and called Ralph Schomp Honda to find out if they could take care of the issue and how much it would cost. The girl who answered the phone told me to come into the Express Service area. When I asked her what the cost would be, she simply responded that she didn't know. I had to prompt her to investigate by asking her who she could speak with to find out. She then put me on hold. I was on hold for 5 minutes and had to hang up to take care of another issue. I called back and I don't know if I spoke with the same girl or someone else. I proceeded to ask the same exact question, "Could my under engine cover be screwed in again and how much would it cost?" She attempted to call down to the Service Department putting me on hold for almost 5 minutes. She got back on the line with me saying that she did not get a hold of anyone in the Service Department and that she recommended that I come by Express Service. When I got to Express Service, I saw a minimum of 15 people standing around, very few of them actually involved in any type of work. A kid in his late teens/early 20s kindly greeted me and told me that the wait time was 2 hours. I expressed my irritation to him that I had called twice to find out this information about wait time, whether I would need to schedule an appointment, and how much it would cost, and that none of my questions were answered, and that I clearly wasted my time driving all the way over there. He informed me that people in the Mini Department upstairs are the ones who receive the phone calls and are unaware of what is happening in the Express Service department. I informed them that they needed to work on their communication so that people aren't wasting their time. I then called Mile High Honda and received a clear answer about their wait time to get my car serviced, how much it would cost, and how long the service would take. I took my car to Mile High Honda and everything they told me was accurate. My car was fixed within 1h 15m of me dropping it off, and they did not charge me anything because all that was needed was some bolt tightening. The representative also ran a Multi-Point Inspection for me free of charge. Thank you Mile High Honda for your courtesy, speed, and accuracy. read more

They gave out false information saying they put full synthetic oil when the sticker they put inside my car said synthetic blend. Bought a 2014 Odyssey and starter gave out with less than 22,000 miles. Asked Schomp dealership and they said it's not under warranty. Starter shouldn't be giving out this soon! Made a scheduled appointment the day after my original visit and test drive to purchase a vehicle, they only had one due to the specific model and trade in, but somehow they forgot to inform me that they scheduled to auction it off a few hours before my meeting. So when I drove 45 minutes to purchase the vehicle with the cashiers check for the amount they told me, I had to wait an hour for them to inform me that they in fact offered it in an auction a few hours before. No call to inform me, instead they just went ahead with the scheduled meeting and offered no information or assistance in finding similar vehicle after having me wait an hour for confirmation. Pretty good overall! I bought one car from them and it was a painless experience. The service department is good - they seem trustworthy and I've never had any problems with the work they do or how they go about it. Pricing for service seems fair and they will itemize when appropriate. My car was always ready on time. read more

Bought our second Honda this year from Ralph Schomp. First car was a Civic, and we still have it. Had a great experience the first time, and had the same this time. We had a different sales person, and were very pleased with the experience. Thought we might get some grief when we got to the final phase...the dreaded finance guy. This was because we paid cash, but he too was very nice. Asked us if we wanted all the usual upgrades, but didn't treat us any different when we said no. All I can say, is that they run a great business. We will return for the next vehicle. read more

My wife purchased a CR-V and the paper tags expired with no plates received, which Schomp were supposed to have sent paperwork for after the purchase. So now we have an vehicle we can't drive due to no plates. I should add that the 'one hour promise' is blatant false advertising. It's a nice slogan but a dishonest claim. Additionally, promised follow-up calls never happened. Prior to this purchase, I made a point of avoiding dealerships and now I remember why. I will go with Carvana or a similar service next time, as the dealership experience is terrible. read more

I recently wrote a bad review for a dealership and I hate writing bad reviews --- so it only makes sense to commend a dealer I like I bought a $3000 vehicle when I first moved to Denver from these guys. The commercials about Schomp are right on-target. There is nothing "slick" or "sleazy" about this place. They provide great information and work hard. Even though I didn't have a ton of $$ to spend at the time on a car, they still took the time to make sure I got something that made sense. Thanks Schomp! read more
