They've stopped spraying for wasps, only give 24 hours notice, and never answer the phone, With that, the price has literally DOUBLED! Another disappointed customer. Was one of Pete's original customers in Del Webb Huntley about 15 years ago. New owners and business going the wrong direction fast. At last quarterly service just did not show up. Sent email to my wife I responded nothing back. Prices going up and many changes. Am sure new owners are the cause. I recommend Schopen Pest Solutions because they're a trust worthy company who's only out to help. We didn't even get the chance to hire them and here's why... We brought an outdoor plant indoors to prevent it from freezing. Unfortunately, the fungus gnats also made their way into our home via the outdoor plant. Jessica, from Schopen, kept trying to reach me and I was missing her call due to meetings. When I finally got a break in the day to call her, I explained what our issue was and she knew right away what we were experiencing. She also had a recommendation that didn't require a visit. I was already nervous about any chemical solution to the problem because I have small children and a dog. I was very much interested in a "natural" solution. Minutes after the call, Jessica sent something to my inbox. I really appreciate her integrity and diligence. Three of the other companies we contacted wanted to charge us $200 to come out. They couldn't confirm safety of the solution nor could they guarantee effectiveness. Seemed like they just wanted to collect a check. Schopen was the complete opposite and wanted to provide the right solution. I've added them to my contacts and will definitely be referring them to friends and family. read more

We had been using them for a number of years. Recently they were sold to another company. Always loved their service. We have our house sprayed 6 times a year. On the last scheduled spray a kid came out in a car. No truck. He sat in his car for a very long time. I went out to see who he was. Said they don't use trucks anymore but not to worry they walk around with a spray pack now. He had a brush and walked around the house. He was there for 15 minutes at the most. I went outside to see how he did about 30 minutes later and there was no sign that anything had been sprayed. There always is for quite some time. I think we will be looking for a new company. Jessica was incredibly helpful and informative on the phone. They were able to accommodate my schedule as I just started a new job. They were kind enough to give me a a bit of a discount even though I havent used their services in 4 years (because they did that great of a job back then!). Corey the technician was polite and explained the process. Again, new job, so I let him do his thing and I went and did mine (he also was great with my dog who loves visitors!) He texted me when everything was complete and also brought a large package in the house for me that Amazon dropped off while he was packing up just because he a great human. No issues to report as far as those pesky rodents or bugs go. Been very, very happy with the services they have provided thus far. read more

I do not recommend Schopen Pest Solutions. We recently had a technician come out to our home to investigate a hornet issue. He identified that yes, we had a problem, but that he could not help due to the issue requiring an arborist to assist in scaling the tree, which was what was attracting the hornets to our area. He promised to provide follow up, however, I did not receive a phone call or an email with next steps. After following up with Schopen, I was informed by the receptionist that "sometimes this happens". I then asked to speak with the manager who said I did not receive the information because they had my incorrect email, and wished me well. After paying $329, you would expect some sort of follow through. Save your time and money - go to an alternative that has excellent customer service and follow through. read more

We have 6 traps, 2 more than most people order and we STILL have vole damage. Who knows, maybe yard would be worse with no traps but it has not resolved the problem almost 3 years after getting the traps. read more

Pete, I miss you already. The company sold and the new ownership lacks clarity, communication and most of all, answers. We are moving and needed to be reimbursed for prepaid for services with Pete. I have gotten nothing but delays from new ownership. Excuses range from 'I don't know'- 'I'm still learning' to 'I'm trying to find out who in corporate to ask' etc. I was told this could take 30 days, which IS NOT in my original contract with Pete. On top of that, no one under this new ownership could detail my dated inquiries or give me a timeline for my reimbursement. Their accounting department is not accountable and do not communicate. Based on my experience with the new owners of Schopen Pest Solutions I cannot recommend them. Pete, get you name back. They're ruining your reputation. read more

WOW! Super impressed, and happy with Schopen, and Dillon in particular. We discovered that we had a yellow jacket nest between the siding of our house in the back yard. Schopen was able to come out the same day. They also took care of some other nests around the house, at high peaks, sprayed all around the exterior. and placed some "rocks" to take care of the voles. I've been meaning to leave this review for a few months now. Schopen Pest Solutions came recommended by another pest company that doesn't deal with termites and said that Schopen can look into our problem and help us if it is a termite issue. Schopen pest solutions had a technician out that very next day. Luke was friendly and communicated everything thoroughly. He took a look at our bathroom and exterior and crawl space and did a fantastic job being absolutely thorough about his assessment about our problems. Although we didn't have termites and just old carpenter ant damage in the walls of our bathroom I was absolutely so pleased with his work and customer service that we signed up for their power sprays and termidor treatment for this spring and summer. I can't wait to have them back on my property for these treatments. Seeing how Luke had superior attention to detail compared to some of the other technicians and companies I worked with previously I have no doubt that our property will be taken care of properly. Throughout our whole encounter I never once felt that they were pushy with their services or products. Because we didn't have the issues we thought we had with critters and ants, Luke didn't ever try to push us to unnecessary products or future services as other companies have done to us before. Schopen Pest Solutions came to the property for a wood destroying insect inspection (for a home purchase). Our inspector was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, professional, and honest. He looked inside every single vent cover, every crevice of the house, and the exterior. He climbed into a locked detached garage window to access the garage and even army crawled throughout the crawl space area to look for things. His assessment was solid. Between hiring Schopen Pest Solutions (and a general home inspector)- I learned so much about this potential home purchase. I'm very unhappy with this service. I paid money for them to come out and spray my business. The first time the guy was there he literally sprayed in five minutes. They charged me over $100 and assured me I would not see any bugs and if I did they would be dead. I asked The guy why he wasn't spraying in more places. He said it wasn't necessary. I found it very weird that he finished his job in like five minutes. I found a ton of cobwebs with spiders in throughout the store and then they showed up for their second appointment and I told the pest guy, I was not going to pay again because what they did the first time did not work and that they needed to spray in more places. The employee proceeded to tell me that his boss said spiders are hard to get rid of! Wait isn't that your job? I will not be using them again! read more

Found them on homeadvisory and they were able to find a guy near by and had him to my house in under 2 hours time to get it handled. Excellent results stands behind their work too! Called them for spider control was over run by yellow sack spiders. Took 3 applications and about 3 weeks and the spiders are gone. I was so happy with the services and customer service that I decided to utilize their three-time a year insect spray services as well, which eliminated spiders and other insects. Don't fall for this trap!!! They offered 30 days warranty on a service and that's why I hired them, just to realize that they lied to me when I called back, under the warranty. Then, they said that they don't have any warranty, and nobody never told me that, and that I was just trying to get free service!! Really?? The lady who told me about the 30 day warranty was there and she literally lied to Peter, saying that she never said that!!! Unbelievable how deceiving and dishonest they are!!
