TLDR: I paid $250+ for coloring service that was extremely poorly done, with my roots being uneven…read moreand untreated and several areas of my hair being completely missed. It has been over 3 weeks of me requesting a refund and essentially being ignored. On May 8, I came into the salon to have my hair dyed by Taylor. I showed multiple example images and told her that I wanted a bright ginger/red with highlights. I specifically told her that I did not want a stripe of blonde at the front of my head. The color came out significantly darker than I was anticipating and with a money piece I specifically said I did not want. The next day I called Taylor, who essentially told me that she would not be able to make any changes to the dye - including any color correction to make it more like my references. After that, I went to a different stylist for a consultation to see if she could fix what was wrong. She found several glaring issues with the dye job itself. What I got was extremely unevenly dyed, with major parts of my hair completely missed. From the photos, you can see how unevenly and poorly the roots were dyed, as well as the large spot on the back of my head that was missed completely. I ended up having to pay over $500 to go to a different stylist to have them fix the terrible dye job that was done at Ensemble Salon. It would be one thing if I just did not like the color, the big issue here is how poorly the dye job was done and how my specific wishes were ignored. On top of this, I called on May 11th and was told a Manager would call me back - they did not. I went in on May 13th and spoke to the owner who said the manager would call me - they did not. I called again on May 20th and left another voicemail, which was returned while I was out of town and I was informed they "were working on their decision". I called again today May 29th and was told I would need to wait until Monday June 1st for "their decision." I could not be more dissatisfied with the service and treatment I have received from ensemble and I would caution ANYONE against using their services.

We had to reschedule twice to get in and thankfully our hair stylist was flexible enough to see us the next week and the next week. We arrived on time and our chair was ready. The whole process was off and running. Making my daughter feel welcome and at ease the whole time. It made for such an enjoyable experience. The hair coloring went so well. I purchased a groupon deal for a haircut and highlights at reflections hair salon with Shanna. I was very excited since it has been awhile since I had anything done with my hair. I came in with a picture of what I exactly wanted. It was going to be a transformation from long hair to longish pixie cut. I showed it to Shanna. She seemed excited too although it did seem like she barely even looked at the photo. She starts cutting my hair dry and looked pretty confident at what she was doing. 5-10 minutes later she said she was done and now she was going to start with highlights. I looked in the mirror and the haircut looked nothing like the photo. The area above my left ear had hair cut way too short. The back looked very choppy. I pointed out that to her, and she admitted that she never worked with short hair before and her expertise is long haircuts and color. I kind of sat there in disbelief for awhile trying to figure out what's next. She didn't want to continue with highlights since i didn't trust her anymore. Then she suggested I go to another hairstylist to get my haircut fixed and buying Groupon I get what I pay for. There is a little more to the conversation that we had, but this conveys the gist of it. I got my hair fixed at another salon the following day, and the hair stylist there did her best blending all the choppiness, but some spots were just not fixable and I have to wait for my hair to grow out. But, looking for a new stylist I decided to try an Asian stylist. I liked the work that Jessica had up on Yelp, so I booked with her. I'm so glad I did! First, she is very personable; no attitude, just friendly and positive. Then she gave me a great cut. I'm so pleased with it...I took photos a couple of weeks after my cut so you can see it still looks great. I don't need to fuss or style it...I blow dry it and it just magically looks great!
