Wrong Saturday hours posted on Yelp, arrived and owner said they were already closed. There were 3 barbers there still cutting hair. They could have taken responsibility for the mistake and done the haircut but chose not to. Told owner about the Yelp hours, he apologized but didn't seem to care. read more

I go here everywhere to get my haircut and beard time and lined up with a straight razor. Brandon is the best Barber I've ever been to. He takes his time and doesn't try to rush you. He takes great pride in what he does. I never have to wait he's always on time. They have the best prices in Sacramento. I would highly recommend Brandon. read more

I am a bit concerned that when I called this barber shop and told them I needed someone who cuts African American hair, no one had time to cut his hair OR did they attempt to schedule another time. I am very disappointed in their customer service or their attempt to correct the no availability. Not one effort to try and schedule a different time or make a referral. read more

I love that I can just make an appointment and not have to wait in line for hours I've had different hair styles over the years and he has mastered every single one of them. I was in town visiting family and did not get to my regular barber for a beard trim. I read the Yelp reviews for this barber shop and they were overwhelmingly positive. I took a chance and walked in and the staff was friendly and the shop was busy but they were able to take me right away. I explained to the barber that I wanted to trim my beard and take some of the length off. The barber took his time and did an awesome job with just scissors. I was very happy. I've had a difficult time finding a great barber shop ever since I moved to the greater Sacramento area. My search came to a conclusion when I found this shop! Thee are very polite, friendly and professional. My personal barber is Paolo. A significant majority of my network actually come here to get their cuts. I hear absolutely nothing but positive comments about the barbers that cut here. The owner is extremely professional to every single client. If you want to conversate with the barbers, they are more than capable of carrying out a full conversation for the entire duration you're at the shop. If you'd rather sit there quietly while they go to work on your hair, they completely respect that and won't interrogate you about your life. I recently found out that my barber, Paolo has been cutting my young brothers hair since he was in high school in 2009. That's when I found out how long these guys been cutting hair. They're HIGHLY experienced and give you the cut you want. Even the more sophisticated and elaborate styles trending today, they will take care of you. This place is great! I have been living in the area for 3 years and have been searching for a barber shop since then. After a few butchers I finally found this shop I called for an appointment and went right into the chair. Brandon did a great job and took his time and gave me probably the cleanest Pompadour I've had since I moved out here! I'm gonna rate these dudes at all 5 stars. I don't get hair cuts much but when I do, I want it done right. I went the supercuts route and that was no good, I went the expensive sports hair cut place route, I don't have the money for that. Then I tried a barbershop near here that was alright but wasn't a huge fan of their attitudes. Well yesterday I was in need of a cut and read some reviews on Scissors and Blades. I don't know why but history has meaning to me, having a story. Well long story short, the owner Luke, bought the barbershop that he had gotten his hair cut from as a kid. That's pretty cool. I called the place up and the phone was passed and I got an appointment. I showed up early and figured out who was doing my hair. Turned out to be Hassan. Anway, I watched how things went and the chatter of the place seemed fun. The other barbers engaged eachother and the customers in conversation, we had some laughs, the place was fun. I was able to also see two different barbers interact with kids cuts and they were awesome. Reminded me of when my dad took me to get haircuts. I have thinner hair and told Hassan what I was looking for and he said, man we can get this to work. Anyway, to wrap it up, I think this was the best haircut I have gotten in a long time, possibly ever. I would even consider getting my haircut on a regular basis after going here.
