First, when I called Scoja someone actually answered the phone. Second when I told him what my problem was the person on the line asked thoughtful questions and confirmed what it was that I was saying. Third, Scott showed up at my place of business on time (within 1 hour of my placing a call) and came prepared with all the equipment. In matter of two hours I had all my new computers and old computer equipment setup on wireless connectivity and wireless printing, had advice on how to setup my TV LCD to my computer, and had some annoying computer administration issues resolved. Scott also provided me with guidance on how to optimize the syncing of all my emails and devices and how to resolve an issue I was having with my internet browser. Incredible service! My little old laptop got a virus or two, and before buying something new, I wanted to see if it could be easily fixed/cleaned up. I called Scoja to see if they do one-off personal computers. Not only do they, but Scott waited around his office for me to drop by (and I was late - damn, Muni!) and he did some minor detecting right then. Not surprisingly, my computer didn't show signs of infection while at the doctor, so he gave me a few insider tips to clean things up should they rear their ugly porno pop-up heads. He also explained a few different things we could do if I choose to "start fresh", shall we say. At home, I took his advice about a free anti-virus software and it worked like a charm! If you're having trouble with your computer system -- call Scoja. That's all I can say. I have a fairly complex home-office system that I pieced together on my own...but I didn't do the best job. When it stopped responding and wouldn't even shut down one morning, I called Scoja. I explained the problem to Scott (the owner) and told him that I was working on a deadline and needed help ASAP! He immediately put me at ease -- told me a few simple things to try directly over the phone and when that didn't do the trick, he came over. I bought a laptop for my daughter that never worked right. After numerous lengthy,and unpleasant hours spent on the phone with the manufacturer's technical support people (and a trip to the Geek Squad, where I was simply told the computer was fatally defective and I should send it back or get rid of it), I was about ready to toss it. Scoja provides our dental practice with a fixed rate managed IT services plan. We have been working with them since 2006 and overall they do an excellent job. They are quick to address issues, offer creative solutions to problems, and we feel they have a nice grasp of our business issues.
