I love Jeremiah's, but this particular location is seriously lacking in customer service training. I visited with a group of four to celebrate my birthday and redeem my birthday reward. After we placed and paid for our order, we were informed that they were out of the caramel flavor, which two of us had ordered. When we asked how long it would take to restock, one employee told us 30 minutes while another said it could take hours. Since we couldn't get a clear answer, we decided to change our order, which required a refund. The employee who processed the refund, whom I believe was named Ashley, was giggling throughout the interaction and seemed unsure whether the refund had actually gone through. When we asked for confirmation, she could not provide a clear answer. I eventually had to go back inside and speak with the shift lead, who was the only helpful employee we encountered. He was able to pull up our order and show us the receipt, but the totals on the receipts did not match, which only added to the confusion. We never received a clear explanation about whether the refund was completed or whether my birthday reward had been properly applied. Overall, the experience was disappointing and frustrating, especially for what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location. read more

I was excited to try Jeremiah's Italian Ice in Mint Hill, but the cleanliness was a big concern. The floors were dirty, and the toppings were in open containers right on the counter where customers stand and wait for their orders. It didn't seem sanitary--anything like hair or germs could easily get into them. On top of that, the Italian ice my wife received had chunks of ice in it and wasn't smooth like we're used to. The perfect place for a late night treat that is so so good and well worth a visit! When we stopped by last week, it was quite busy but the drive thru line moved pretty quickly. There's a ton of options to choose from and the menu is constantly changing. I ordered a medium Italian ice (chocolate and cake batter) with vanilla soft serve with cookie butter crumble. I really liked mine however next time I'll skip the cake batter as it wasn't my favorite. My husband ordered pumpkin pie and salted caramel Italian ice with vanilla soft serve. I had never been here before but my daughter loves it so we came after dinner. Was fairly busy for a weeknight after 8pm, although a very short wait to order inside. The server was helpful and nice, explaining the menu. I ordered the cherry and vanilla ice cream gelato which tasted great, I just wasn't prepared for the texture and so when I pulled the spoon out it also yanked off the top ice cream which fell on the floor :( anyway, good experience otherwise and all the flavor combos are fun! I drove past this place about a week ago and it caught my eye. It's been a while since something has occupied this corner lot. I was surprised to see it was selling one of my favorite things! Jeremiahs is a constant treat for me. I am a fan from orlando Florida and when I heard it was opening in Mathews I was thrilled. I went on opening night.
