My review is for the Charlotte location. I need to start by saying the customer service here is OUTSTANDING. Genuinely the BEST customer service i have ever experienced. ALL of the staff members were knowledgeable, personable and their energy and professionalism alone made me a repeat customers. Great pricing, unlimited toppings and beautiful location. They also make ice cream tacos for those who loved Klondike's choco tacos. Those employees need a raise or major shout out. The line needs to be going out the door daily. I WILL be back!
I really enjoyed my experience at the Icecream Factory. I was greeted by more than one person with a smile and given time to look at all of the wonderful options to choose from. I ended up getting this mini brownie stack and it was absolutely delicious. I definitely had a sugar rush after but if you're looking for a super great sweet treat this place is perfect. They also offered a free water to go along with it. I didn't realize this place has the same owner as the Sip Lab which I also really enjoyed. Definitely give both places to try if you're in Greensboro!
I treated myself today! Key help me decide what to get today and it did not disappoint. It was a pecan praline stacker, she also added maple walnuts! Go check them out when you get a chance and ask for Key, tell her Irish sent you. I promise you will not be disappointed. You can thank me later.
Hey family. My bestie got me to come out the house and treated me to Icecream Factory. It's funny because I feel like I've seen it making its rounds on social media and I'm sure I saved it but never went in. When I realized where it was, I was surprised because I've passed by it multiple times. Anyway, this place is amazing. I love that they have a variety of ice creams and sorbet and totally customizable. And the toppings are free!!! They don't try to nickel and dime you for everything like other ice cream shops. The staff is very nice and they work very hard. They have steady business so please keep that in mind. If it helps, take a look at their menu ahead of time because if you don't, you will be staring at the menu for a long time. They have ice cream you can get in a cone, waffle bowl, or waffle nachos. They also have shakes and hot chocolate along with brownies. I opted to get a mini Cookie Monster and it was so nostalgic for me. The ice cream had bits of cookie dough in it. It felt like comfort in a cup. I could easily have gotten a bigger size but the mini was just enough. They have a good amount of seating and if you want they have an area for table games you can pick up and play while enjoying your treats. I will definitely come back and try more items and check out the menu beforehand. I think it's a fun spot for everyone so bring your friends and family and check them out. It's worth it!
It's officially hot cocoa season! And Icecream factory needs to be on your list of places to stop! The staff are always helpful and friendly and willing to customize your order to fit your needs. The space is decorated with fun neon signs and it's always clean. If it's nice out, there's a small patio to enjoy your drink outside too! I got a basic cup of cocoa but they have a ton of add ons to choose from if you want to be EXTRA
We went to the Ice Cream Factory today and tried so many amazing things on the menu! It was impossible to pick, so the three of us each got 2 things each. My son got the banana pudding popsicle dipped in butterscotch along with a biscoff tiny brownie. His friend got a regular sized brownie and a Cookie Monster chocolate cracking shell shake. I got the girlie pop sprite and sherbet with popping boba along with the biscoff boat. It was all delicious! Really awesome ambiance and sweet staff who were very patient. Because we ordered so much it was a little pricy but worth it for delicious ice cream!
I visited around 1pm on Friday, July 25th. Parking was fairly easy. Greeting was Friendly. They do have a nice, but limited amount of seating options indoors and a few tables outside. Their options for building an ice cream, drink and/or brownie flight is unique and delicious! The staff members were extremely helpful with offering samples and guidance. I got a mini sized Blueberry Lavender Limonada - it was the perfect slushie texture, great flavor profile and perfectly sweetened. I'd highly recommend this to anyone craving a fruity and slightly floral refresher! The Biscoff & PB Cup brownies were my fave of the flight
We really enjoyed our visit to the ice cream factory! This is an especially fun place to bring kids. They have so many different combos of ice cream treats to choose from and even more add ins and toppings. The staff was also friendly and prompt getting us through the line. We got a peanut butter sundae and a brownie sundae and both were delicious. We would have to come back a hundred times to try all of the different ice cream combos we could get but don't worry, we are up for the challenge!
I've been coming here for several months now, and have yet to be disappointed with anything I've received. The staff are very friendly and helpful suggestions. They do have tasters if you're indecisive. Although they have some preset, you can build your own. They also have unlimited toppings as all. My go-tos are the NY Royal Cheesecake and S'mores stackers. I get both everytime I come, as well as trying one new item. (Pop those in the freezer and retrieve when ready.) I've introduced this spot to friends who have returned a few times. Just be ready to wait a while because it gets busy very quick. Because they're so busy, they're unable to wipe down the tables. However, I've yet to see that bother anyone as they quickly sit down anyway and enjoy their desserts.
This spot is my husband's favorite ice cream spot to go to in Greensboro since this establishment had opened. I had told him about the Yelp Event and how they had hot chocolate, it was time for us to make a visit for hot cocoa. The options were very great choices, I had gotten the s'mores and my husband got the biscoff. The flavors were the perfect balance and were the perfect amount of sweet. The hospitality from the staff and Johnny is awesome every time me or my husband come in here. It's such a great atmosphere walking into this place. We will definitely be back for both ice cream and hot chocolate.
This place has such a cool vibe. It is great for all ages and there are over 55 flavors to choose from, including non dairy options. It was hard to choose but I went with the Smores Stacker but added biscoff spread throughout as well. The cup is lined with chocolate sauce with toasted marshmallow ice cream with "stacks" of marshmallows and graham crackers. It is stopped with whipped cream, more graham crackers and the marshmallows are hand toasted with a torch. This was so good but be careful as it melts easily so you may want to dine in instead of taking it with you. I definitely recommend you give this place a try. They have so many wonderful options from scoops to boats to waffle cones to taco type cones. The staff is very friendly and they will let you taste any flavors before you choose. Go check them out.
I was excited to try Ice-creamFactory knowing they were the same owners as SipLab, which I just reviewed. Went in with my family and we were immediately greeted and taken care of. While we were in the line the staff were taking time to get to know the guests which I thought was a great service touch. I got the NY Cheesecake Stacker and wow. It was good. It was A LOT, portion-wise, which is never a bad thing. Flavor was great. It wasn't as aggressively sweet you think. This was a fun place to try. Staff and guests were in good spirits, it was clean, there was a fun playlist going, just an overall good experience. read more
Been trying to get back to this spot for a while. We discovered it last year as part of a Yelp event, and have been looking forward to visiting ever since. We were welcomed in by staff, who was very friendly. They offer a massive selection of ice cream flavors, which makes it tough to pick. They offer something for everyone including dairy free options (including vegan options), as well as classic flavors, fruity flavors, and their own concoctions! In addition, they offer unlimited toppings to be added at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!!! Still stuffed from dinner, I got a "single" cup, which they actually allow you to put up to (2) favors in. I decided to to go with (2) of their original creations, getting the Peanut Butter Cookies & Cream, and the Salty Caramel Brownie, to top it off, i got a chocolate drizzle, sprinkles and whipped cream. WOW! Don't let the size of the cup fool you, they pack it, full, and have overflowing. They don't skimp. The ice cream was absolutely delicious, so rich and full of flavor. The space is very relaxed with plenty of seating, as well as games for people to enjoy while visiting. Another nice touch, the cashier gave us a bottle of water on the house. In addition to cups and cones, they also offer milkshakes, ice cream tacos made to your liking, and so much more. Hands down, this has got to be the best spot in the Triad to get a nice sweet treat! The service was top notch, from entering to leaving. The atmosphere was so fun able relaxing. They had a game shelf that we were able to find one and play while we enjoyed the ice cream. The flavors, toppings and all the options in between we're plentiful! So thankful Yelp suggested this place to us and I would highly recommend stopping in for sure. read more

This establishment is fun for ice cream and brownies! Upon walking in your instantly greeted and if you look to the right before the tables there is an area were you can choose a board game to play at the table. Awesome-sauce!! Each staff member was friendly and answered any questions that I had and gave great recommendations. I like the fact that they have patience because it is a lot to take in and so many to choose from. Variety is an understatement, they have flavors, combinations for days on end. Definitely a must try and will be returning. New favorite spot! I was really over the moon excited trying this spot and they met beyond my expectations! read more

They have 50+ flavors to pick from and keep it very organized putting everything in categories - fruity, non-dairy, classics, fun, seasonal, and creations. My husband and I split a cookie craze boat. It came with 3 scoops of our choices in ice cream plus whatever toppings we wanted surrounded by chips ahoy cookies. For our flavors, we chose moose tracks (vanilla), brownie batter, and birthday cake. It was the perfect amount of ice cream for 2 people and everything tasted fresh. We ate inside where they had several tables available. There is also a small parking lot outside the store that they share with other shops. This place is soooo overwhelming with all the choices - in a good way! The place is just as colorful as their ice creams. They offer 55 flavours of ice cream, and just as many toppings. It's a one-stop destination for any kid (or adult), who loves ice cream. The staff was super sweet and patient while we tacked our brained making our Stacker. Once we were done building our giant sundaes, we took a seat and played a few of the many board and card games they had to offer their patrons. It made for a great experience! Definitely a must visit! Especially with company! read more

I see why this place always has a line! Definitely worth the wait because was on the other side of that waiting time is a delicious treat for you! Salty caramel crunch stacker was the choice I got. Literally just taste like an ice cream cone with caramel on it. Very rich and flavorful. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. This roomy little ice cream spot is a nice stop for a summertime treat. There are so many flavor combinations. We got Rocky Road, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Vanilla Moose Tracks. All were delicious. There's also amazing things like ice cream tacos and giant milkshakes topped will all sorts of goodies. The vibe was super chill although they were super busy, and the staff were warm and friendly. My little one licked her ice cream a little too much on one side. It toppled over and the girl behind the counter immediately made her a new one in a bigger cone. Way to save the day in the life a three year old! It was a great experience. There's also a frequent customer rewards program that we will be using frequently. :) read more

This place is pretty fantastic! The options were insane and the staff is fantastic. There were plenty of games to play while you sat inside and enjoyed your ice cream. We played all kinds of games and the kids loved it. We ordered just single scoops of ice cream and you get free toppings which I didn't know, but the kids were super excited. We were offered free bottles of water which was super nice on a 90 degree day! There was a good amount of seating inside and 2 smaller 2 top tables outside. The restaurant wasn't brightly lit which I liked and each table had these cute little lamps. Prices were super reasonable and I'm looking forward to going back to try a stacker and a brownie sundae read more

Their icecream is so good! So many fun flavors!The brownie was warm and gooey and comes in multiple flavors as well. They have games in the corner incase you want to come with friends and hangout for a bit. Highly recommend! read more
