We stopped at Scoops to grab lunch on our trip home. They are practicing social distancing. The clerk was wearing a mask. She took our order and brought our food out to us. My husband had a hot dog. It was good but there isn't much to say about hot dogs. He had requested pepper jack cheese but did not get it I had the brisket sandwich. They had gluten free bread which was good. Because of the size of the bread they made two sandwiches of it. They could have done better making it with just two pieces instead of 4. I ended up throwing away 2 pieces and keeping the remaining pieces with the cheese melted on it. They use yellow mustard. The brisket consisted of two pieces of meat which were Mostly fat. Next time we are in Willits we will try somewhere else. read more

We were driving home from the coast and decided to stop in for some ice cream. The options of flavors were very good. My husband chose a root beer float, while I got a vanilla malt. The young woman who served us seemed new and unaware of the menu, however the other woman (possibly the manager or owner was very helpful. We overheard her telling the young woman to use more ice cream, so we were delighted she was supervising. His root beer float came with the whole bottle of root beer, which was wonderful. For the price, both were well worth it. While watching the server make his float, we saw she squirted in a clear syrup at the bottom. Hmmm.... we found it to be odd, but trusted the process. However, the float was not blended and the syrup remained on the bottom which turned out to taste awful. The ice cream and root beer on top were delicious, but the mysterious liquid on the bottom was not. We suggest you ask to not included it. My vanilla malt had no malt flavor at all. The server assured me she added some. I had ordered a large, so I believe she should have put in more? The shop was clean and cute with food as well. Outside eating area was just average. read more

Drove down the Oregon coast from WA, went through the Redwood Hwy and Avenue of the Giants, wanted a coffee break and some ice cream of sorts for the kids. My wife went inside asked for restroom key while I was ordering coffee from the drivethru right outside. Wife held the key for me so I can go once I've placed my order then we can park the trailer and take the kids in for some froyo. The lady in one of the pics (Yelp page) came out yelling at my wife and said restroom is for customers only. My wife got the keys from one of their worker that was nice and politely handed over the restroom key. This b came out yelling at my wife and assumed we weren't going to be a customer really gave us a bad vibe so we ended up just leaving after getting the coffee. On hour 11 of the road trip, we stopped in to this icecream shop. I feel really bad for the woman who runs this, she is clearly overworked and was totally rude. The froyo was unavailable so we opted for icecream, tasting two flavors before deciding to purchase a single cup at $3.50 each. To split a cup/get two flavors it's 75 cents more, so $4.25 each. So we decided to share a large (2 scoops, 2 flavors) at $5. She belittled us for our decision and complained that many people end up choosing this instead.. Idk if she's is the only employee, but it sure seemed like it.. The energy and vibes are negative & I wouldn't recommend stopping by. The customer service is terrible :/ A business suggestion: lower the price of your small by 25 cents or make a split scoop 25 cents. This cute little shop is located by a drive through coffee shop. As I was passing through from Humboldt we saw the cute pink sign and stopped by here for some Ice Cream, duh! lol But they also serve froyo, dessert, sandwiches and coffee! The place was empty on that pretty rainy day so we got pretty fast service. The girls behind the counters are sweet, the place spacey and clean. They have a moderate amount of food on the menu but we had already ate or I would have tried something. Lots of yummy flavored iced coffee, I got the caramel and I believe I got the coconut caramel coffee Ice cream?! Whatever it was it was delicious! Seriously heaven in my mouth wish I had room for more lol. If you need a restroom break this is the place! They have an outdoor bathroom that is pretty big, tiled, clean and beautiful! Seriously when they gave me the key and said it was outside I was thinking gross, yucky, porto potty but what I saw was surprising none the less. I had to run to the car and tell everyone to use the restroom before we continue because this will probably be the cleanest one on the way. But be courteous and make a purchase, having had our own family business it's kinda irritating having so many non-customers take up our paying customers time to ask to use the restroom. I understand once in a while but once in a while for each person is a whole lot for one business. So if you need a restroom stop passing through stop by here for a treat, snack or meal. Went to Scoops in Willits on Saturday 10/2/2021 to order food for my family. It was a large order, wanting to give a local business more money in a panademic. At no time did the owner let me know how long the wait may be. If the sandwich order was to "difficult" as the owner told me after I waited almost 2 hours then maybe she should express what her abilities are, if any. I was there at 12:00 pm when they just opened. After waiting 1 hour and approx 40 minutes! The bacon on all of the sandwiches were raw, missing ingredients on the sandwiches and wraps, tomato tops and bottoms. Also when you PAY for extras and they don't put it on the sandwich. The sandwich shop, I guess should consider that a donation, since we were charged but never received. Maybe the health board should visit a sandwich shop selling undercooked bacon on sandwiches. Called and talked to the owner. She was rude and condescending (no surprise) when she talked with me to have some consideration for her. Excuse me! I thought the consideration came when I paid roughly $180 for sandwiches. The owner NEEDS to have CONSIDERATION when PAYING CUSTOMERS spend that much money. Given the large amount of money and time we spent waiting, everyone had to throw their sloppily made and dangerous (undercooked bacon) sandwiches in the trash. She did offer to remake sandwiches after she refused a refund. But honestly no one was interested in wasting another approx 2 hours of our time. Plus if you couldn't do it correct the 1st time I don't have faith you could do right the 2nd time. Never coming here again. Especially with other better quality sandwich shop and customer service that matters and counts around! read more

On our way to Oregon, we wanted a restroom break and was sooooo glad to have stumbled upon this cute little place! It has everything on their build-your-own menu. I always need my greens, and they even have spinach wraps! The owner was really friendly and helpful. Her mom was making some yummy waffle cookies when we were there, and she was generous enough to offer us some. We had our sandwiches to go and she was really thoughtful in providing us the necessaries to make it easier for us to have our meals while being on the road. We also got ourselves the It's A Goodie flavoured ice cream from San Francisco. Oh so yummy. Not to mention having your meal in a comfy diner setting with 70s music playing on the background. Read some reviews with what I felt was comments which are a little silly. Personally feel that this place deserves more recognition than it has now. Good stuff! read more

Don't let the name fool you - Scoops makes delicious deli sandwiches! We were looking for a place to have lunch in Willits and happened to drive by Scoops and notice the "Deli" sign. We chose the "build your own" sandwich option, where you get a piece of paper with all of the deli sandwich options and you check off the ones you want. I had a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce, mayonnaise, spicy mustard, havarti, and an assortment of vegetables, and I'd highly recommend it! The sandwiches come stacked tall with deli meat and a generous amount of toppings - no scrimping on ingredients like some other sandwich places. The sandwiches were so good that we came back the next day for more sandwiches. We didn't try the ice cream or frozen yogurt, but they had a good selection of flavors and toppings. The employees were very friendly and helpful when deciding what combination of things to put on my sandwich. We'll be back if we're in the area again! read more

My husband and I have stopped here several times on our way up and down to Eureka from the Sacramento area. It's a great choice for us because it's about halfway through our trip, and we end up in Willits right around lunchtime. One $1 Bagel with lite cream cheese two pieces of turkey and sweat mustard just on half of it and a orange juice in a can was $11.90. Ridiculous and unethically a rip off.
