We stopped by on Tuesday & tried the moonlight mango & strawberry kiwi smoothies along with the meatball & pastrami on the menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. My 3 year old especially loved her smoothie & we can't wait to go back. The views inside the shop are beautiful & I love that they have so many cute stuff to shop for & a great seating area. I love the healthy options and not tasting so much sugar it's a great option in town!!

Great food and service. A great place to get some work done with free wifi! The view of the garden is perfect while focusing on my projects.

Moonlight Mango smoothie and Triple Berry Junction smoothie. Both were lousy.

We came here for smoothies with the kiddos before we took a ride on the skunk train. When we entered their cafe there were no other customers other than a couple outside. We ordered 3 smoothies and it took them over 30 minutes to make them. When we finally got them I tried the 2 flavors and didn't like it at all. There were for the kids so as long as they liked them that's all that mattered. All 3 of my kids 9,6 and 3 refused to drink them saying they were gross. To back up a bit I don't think their ingredients are as fresh as they advertise. All the fruit was frozen and they used "Great Value" brand apple juice which I am pretty sure is from Walmart. The food looked like it was probably better and we planned to eat there after the train ride but decided to go elsewhere after those smoothies. They ultimately gave us a refund and for that they get 2 stars. If we didn't have to wait so long for such bad smoothies I would give 3 stars but that wait was kinda ridiculous given there was nobody else who ordered ahead of us. Hopefully it was just a bad luck visit and hopefully they take this feedback.

What a pleasant way to approach a culinary experience. The restaurant has lots of charm. As you approach the front door there's a window into the kitchen where they are making the home made pasta. This definitely sets the tone. The dining area is cozy and has a 'woodsy' ambiance with nice decorative touches, an upstairs mezzanine and a beautiful garden deck/patio out back for dining too. The staff are super friendly and one feels as though you're eating in someone's friends home. The menu has many excellent dishes, primarily pastas. This is northern Italian cuisine so don't expect a lot of red sauces. The soup, a pasta fagioli, seemed interesting so I had a bowl and selected the Penne alla Boscaiola with onion, mushrooms, sausage and a cream sauce. I found the soup a bit underwhelming compared to some hearty types I've had in the past. It seemed to lack the strong richness and the beans were somewhat mushy. It wasn't bad, just different for me. The Penne, however, was a knockout. I haven't had that good a pasta dish in years. All the flavors were spot on and the ingredients perfectly proportioned and melded together. The sauce didn't overwhelm the dish and coated the pasta perfectly. I couldn't have been happier. The pasta here is obviously top notch and I'd love to try many more dishes. I doubt you can go wrong.

There is so much to look at inside this restaurant, and the outside grounds has twists and turns to other garden areas--A mystic backyard for sure! For dinner, We had pasta and salad. The pasta was perfectly cooked--Upgraded to egg fettuccine noodles. The sauce was fresh and wonderfully flavored and covered the noodles with just the right amount of sauce. Not too much and not too little. The hearty smoked salmon salad was great too. I didn't realize it was smoked (missed that on the menu! Haha) I wanted salmon, but it was good with a nice fresh dressing. The bread served is focaccia pieces, rosemary and tomato blends which went well with my salad. Wine list offers a lot of wines. Of course Italian. Enjoy Mendocino!

This place has it all. You walk in and to your right are 200 plus beers to choose from. On your left is a sit-down restaurant. Further down is a deli counter, a bakery, gelato, and all kinds of local honey, olives, pasta, spices, you name it, and a gift shop. The bathrooms are clean and large enough to accommodate a large amount of people at one time. We decided to taste the gelato while waiting for our car to charge since we already had lunch, but looking at the fact that they make their own sourdough a sandwich would be a great choice for future stops. The gelato is made in house, and I had a lemon which was light and refreshing. My husband had the dark chocolate gelato. He said it didn't have a heavy milk based taste and not really creamy but very chocolaty. The server for the gelato was very friendly and let me taste first. I would stop here again even if I didn't have an EV car to charge.

Going back to the sandwich, :), the "new orleans muffuletta" is olive forward, so if you like intense flavors, this is the sandwich for you. I like olives and i found the sandwich tasty.

The look is very much a country cafe vibe, yet somewhat upscale too. The lunch outside was so enjoyable. The space and garden is delightful. Seating is far enough apart so you don't feel cramped. I started with the soup of the day which was wonderful. Then I chose the Rock Fish Tacos and oh my goodness, some of the best tacos ever. I liked that they didn't automatically fall apart when you picked it up. Plus the flavor and tenderness of the fish was spot on perfect. For dinner during a subsequent visit sitting inside at a cozy table was equally enjoyable. Four of us had a tough time choosing entrees as everything on the menu looked appealing. We started and shared the cheese board which was fabulous. Local cheeses were the highlight and ever so good. For my entree I chose the Gnochi with vegetagles. I very much enjoyed the overall dish but the gnochi were somewhat sparse and not that good in texture. Surprisingly that didn't impact the overall impression as everything else in the dish was satisfyingly delicious. It was an adequate portion and the price point good for the quality. We went through two bottles of wine, one suggested by the server. It was spot on. This is a delightful restaurant and if you're in the area definitely make it a stop for either lunch, when available, or especially dinner.

She was so busy every single one of the bar seats was taken, and she did a fantastic job balancing all of it. Overall the food was an exceptional experience. For starters we got the truffle fries, and A Minestrone soup. The truffle fries were delicious, and had a bit if a kick to them so if you dont like spicy keep that in mind. The Soup was delicious and a great size for the small soup portion. I ordered the Lasagna with meat sauce and its light delicate layers were delicious, and perfectly balanced with the cheese. The server was helpful and informative and told my friend about the Mushroom cream sauce for her ravioli that if you love mushrooms you'll love it but if you don't then steer away. And we LOVE mushrooms and the ravioli paired perfectly with the heavy mushroom cream sauce. We also got the Steak and ordered it medium rare, when it came to us and it was closer to blue/rare the server/bartender didn't hesitate to apologize and in a flash take it back. The cooks remade it and it was perfectly medium rare with that nice browning on the outside and a small bit it pink in the center. We were very satisfied and it was such a lovely touch the manager did come out before the end of our meal to ensure we were satisfied and apologized for the discrepancy in the meal. The fact it was busy every single table full and the bar also being full and the manager still coming to ensure our satisfaction was what true hospitality is all about!! 100000% recommendations for this place and will be coming back!

We loved the atmosphere which they have live music playing! Our server was very kind and gave us recommendations. We were able to split and share a Cesar salad and they gave two plates to share which was kind instead of one big plate and we appreciated that. I give 4/5 stars for the quality of the food only because I felt the spaghetti noodles were a little salty along with the sauce being salty. I love love love spaghetti and this was the first time I've been to an Italian restaurant and felt something was salty because I'm never one to complain. It could have been an off day but from the time we ordered to the actual dinner entrees to come took more than 20 minutes and it wasn't too crowded. Also, we ordered cannolis and the shell didn't seem crunchy/fresh but the flavor was there and the texture of the ricotta was smooth! For a couple who ordered 2 appetizers , two main entrees, one bottle of red wine , and two cannolis to share, we spent about 200 which was a little bit pricier than we usual experience at a typical Italian restaurant so just a heads up. Otherwise, this is a good place for fine dining in the area with nice staff and good portion food
