My son attended a birthday party at this indoor playground a few weeks ago. He had a blast of course, but my husband I noted that the place seemed a bit neglected. Very rude and unprofessional. We arrived 15 minutes early. Grace told us to wait outside, since there was no room. We asked her if we could at lease keep the cake in the refrigerator and she rudely said she could only keep the cake inside, and that there was no room for two bags of toy decorations and goodies. She didn't even seem to care while she told us to stay out with the bags. Pro-tip for next time, a simple "Sorry about that" would have been preferable to "No, you gotta keep those in your car." They only let us enter the lobby 5 minutes late, and they did not start the party until 15 minutes late. It was very uncomfortable for guests to all be sitting in the car while waiting for the staff to prepare the place for us. I admit that they let us out 10 minutes late to make up for the wasted 15 minutes, but the damage had already been done. During the meal, soft drinks were supposed to have unlimited refills. The staff did one refill, but after the jars were empty they never got to refill them again. It must have seemed like a cheap place in the eyes of our guests. Now for the best part. At the end of the party the staff was supposed to help us transport the leftover cake and all our presents and decorations to our car via a cart. They missed some expensive decorations. My wife called Grace the same evening and asked her to check if they had them, and she confirmed that they had found them. My wife asked her to keep them until the following weekend, so we could pick them up. She replied in a coarse manner, "We don't have room to hold things too long. You need to pick them up soon." My wife replied, saying that we could only come on a weekend, since we lived far. We had picked up the location based on our guests' home locations, rather than ours. Grace rejected the offer again, and said they would have to throw these things away if we did not pick them up soon. At that instant my wife exploded. She told Grace that it was their fault for missing the items, since it was their responsibility to place them all on the cart and help transport them to our car. Grace had no choice but to bite the bullet and agree to hold our belongings. Needless to say, we had to commit to a fairly long drive to fix their mistake. What frustrates us is not that they made mistakes, but the way they treated us afterwards. Never have I seen a person at fault acting so rude and selfish before. Short Summary: - Prevented us from entering the lobby until 5 minutes late. - Delayed the party by 15 minutes. - Was rude while rejecting to keep two bags of decoration inside, and told us to take them out. - Staff failed to run a second refill for soft drink jars. - Staff failed to place all our belongings on the cart. - Was extra rude in handling out phone call asking to hold our belongings until we come and grab them. read more

My son fell ill & I had to postpone his birthday party twice. By the time he was cleared by the doctor the place I had originally chosen was not available. I googled kid indoor bday party venues in OC. Scrolling through the options I visited each website. Scooters not only looked fun but was reasonably priced and doesn't charge you extra for bringing in certain types of dry snacks. They had three different tier packages to choose from. Because I was scheduling last minute (less than a week before the chosen day) I needed to call in to book. Grace, the manager was SO helpful. On the day of the party they actually greeted me when I pulled up and brought out a cart to help me with all of my stuff. They set up the eating area for me, they helped serve the food, they even wrote down the names & presents given to the birthday boy by the guests. I literally didn't have to worry about the details and just got to enjoy our guests. It was such a great party!! His sister was jealous & says that's where she wants her party this year. We had a fantastic 6th birthday party for my son here! They didn't miss a beat. From unloading our car, to an easy checkin, to helping out in the play area. It was a perfect bday event! The kids and adults had a blast. We had about 20 kids and 20 adults and there was more than enough space, food, and drinks. The zip line was fun, the jumphouse areas were great, and the huge slide was a blast, even for the grown ups! Ping pong, air hockey, and a digital game where kids stomp on goblins etc to earn points. It was clean all over with hand sanitizer for everyone to use. Travis and Ilene were great with everything! They even mark the gifts with numbered stickers so you know who brought what. This place is Amazing. Can't say enough good things about this place. My wife and I held our son and daughters 7th and 4th birthday here in September and were in no way disappointed. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful and the price is super reasonable! Pizza and drinks were included in the package we selected but if you need to order extra pizza (for a large party) just let the staff know ahead of time. The kids had plenty of time to play and worked up an appetite while they waited for dinner time. We brought the decorations, snacks and desserts and the staff set it all up for us. They brought us in about ten minutes prior to dinner time to make sure everything was setup like we wanted so no worries if you're particular about the setup! Overall it was a complete success and being able to leave without having to worry about cleaning up was probably my favorite part. read more

yeah scooter. growing up, venue options for my birthdays were limited to chuck e. cheese (the characters scared the crap out of me), farrell's ice cream parlor (snoring), or skateway (r.i.p.) all decent options but they pale in comparison to the behemoth that is scooter's jungle. the nephew had his 4th birthday party here over the weekend and we (adults included) had a blast. scooter's jungle is essentially a big warehouse that's been converted to an indoor playground with HUGE inflatable bouncy houses, rope swing, obstacle course & two-story slide. for the non-bouncers they have foosball, air hockey & ping pong. for a nominal fee your private party gets the run of the place for 1.5 hours after which you spill into another room for pizza & cake. this place puts any mcplayland to shame. my arms are still sore from the rope swing and the sight of my 60+ father having more fun than the kids will be emblazoned in my memory forever. thanks scooter. i definitely give it up to the staff who really know how to work with the kids and keep the place clean! i'd recommend it for any youngins' birthday party. shoots, i'd even consider a party for myself here! Went today for a 3 yo birthday. Nice time over all Nice girl who helped in the room. Only one room though. Has big slide, a bouncy room and a bouncy room w a zip line. Spent 1.5 hours in the one room before lunch kids were sooo hungry and tired by then. Food room very small...for the size party today. 20-26 kids w each a parent or two. Everyone was on top of each other to the point many of us had to eat in the lobby out of sight of our kids. But better than being smashed in one room. Food decent not sure where it came from. Daughter had a nice time just got a bit bored at end and monitor didn't do any coordinated games or playtime. read more

We had our six year olds birthday here. So much fun! Kevin and the other staff were super helpful. At first glance I thought the fact that there were only three play areas would be a bit restricted but it was plenty to keep the all 20 kids (plus adults) occupied the whole time. I made a party music mix for the event but couldn't use it since we couldn't connect my iPhone 5 directly. Next time I will have to bring an audio jack connector or throw it on my iPod. I just had my daughter's 1st birthday here and it was great! The staff was so helpful. They did all clean up and set up for us and kept us on a schedule. This made it perfect so that I could actually enjoy the party and not be running around. The place is big inside and all the kids and the adults had a blast! They were very accommodating with all my needs. We brought in our own food and dessert table and they set it all up. We also hired our own face painter and caricature artist, and they made it very easy for everything. As guests brought in gifts, they marked them so we knew when we got home, who they were from. This team made the entire toddler birthday experience a breeze. From the phone and email communication leading up to the party, a host greeting us at our car to help unload, another host that served all the kids and helped is load the car back up! All we had to do was show up! Most importantly the kids all had a wonderful time and so did us parents! When we got home we realized the team had even numbered the gifts coordinating the names of who the gift was from. Just came back from a 5 year old bday party. The entrance was nice and the staff was enthusiastic and helpful. Overall, I think it is a pretty nice place. They have large jumpers and a very small glow in the dark room. Unlike Pump it Up, you stay in the same area the entire time. I think this place is intended for 4 & up, which is why I haven't considered it for my own kids bdays. It wouldn't be a good place for toddlers. My 4 year old was a bit small and young for the zip line, boxing and basketball jumper, etc. Not sure how this place is during open play time, but I'm assuming kids can get pretty rough. The rules are posted everywhere, so that's good. I thought about giving it 3 stars because it's not great for the age of my kids; however, once they are older I would probably be a fan, so I gave it 4 stars read more

First time at Scooter's Jungle and we loved it! We celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday here and she had the best time. All the kids of all ages and adults had such a great time. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They took care of everything and I mean everything, even took care of interacting with the kids and making sure that the kids and adults had a great time. The only thing I didn't like is that the dining area is so small that most of my guests had to stand up while eating. I have such a big family but I guess these places are intended for small groups so that was my bad. I still give this place a 5 star because they sure deserve it. One thing I do wish is that they can give the kids a little more playtime! 1 1/2 hours wasn't enough...not even for the adults! I went to another one in Anaheim and it was a broke down 2 jumper crappola & ball room with staff who sit at the front desk & never come to check on everyone..i won't name the place but you probably know... anyways, that place gave me a bad impression then I got a chance to go here on Family Night Two guys only there so very very sweet & great at their job, who would thought young guys really liked working at this kinda job lol I liked how it wasn't so packed on a weeknight I loved how the guy on the floor was playing with my son since there was either no one or mainly girls playing in their own click the slide was so awesome! the zipline was awesome The ball bouncer/boxing gloves bouncer was super awesome i loved how they had a nice air hockey and ping pong table that was great quality and worked BONUS was the free lemonade and pretzels and a little break room Also, their pizza is Papa Johns! I thought it was going to be some crappy 99 cent pizza from the frozen food aisle their little toy store was cute this place is awesome, i wish it was bigger so there would be more to do, my son got bored of the repetition after a couple hours but he loved the whole experience and had a lot of fun there. I chose to have my daughter's fifth birthday here after attending a classmates party. The mom raved about how easy everything was. The staff was great and they made everything run smoothly. My favorite thing about Scooter's Jungle compared to other birthday places is that they have activities for all ages. The adults had fun playing ping pong, the babies could play safely in the section just for them, and the kids could run and have fun! Fist time at one of these jumper places i keep hearing about. Great place for parties I've heard, so my expectations were kinda high. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of jumpers this place had as it only had 3...i was expecting more. Still a fun place and they try hard to make it a fun time for the kids with a chaperone for every party, good idea. They also let you bring in outside food which is good. We just threw my son a birthday party here. Our party had kids ranging from 1 year old to 6 years of age and included moms and dads. Everyone had a great time and there is plenty of room for adults to socialize without worrying about the kids who get to run free. - Spacious place, all to yourself with plenty of room for a few strollers without getting in anyone's way. Very clean. Lighting is a bit dim but it didn't bother us. - Kids ran straight to the humungous super slide and had a blast going down over and over again. Very safe contraption despite the intimidating height. It's all air with bumpers at the end to slow down the descent. Parents were giggling like children. -Two separate bouncer areas, one with oversized boxer gloves (arena style) and one with a zip line! - A jungle gym pipe system for kids to climb and crawl around in - A room with an interactive lighting contraption that casts movable shapes and visuals on the ground for kids to stomp on - A clean toddler area that is fenced off with boxes of toys for young tots to play. Toys were in very good condition and didn't look dirty. In fact, when some of the 3 and 4 years got tired, a few of them settled in for some make believe. - Dads enjoyed air hockey and ping pong - Air conditioning is on point. We were serviced by Grace the manager who took our reservation and performed the follow up phone call the week of. Even though we were a bit scatterbrained, she was so gracious and patient, it felt like talking to someone we knew well. Very likable lady who has toddlers of her own. We asked about Yelpers who complained about cold pizza but we found out that morning and afternoon pizza delivery from Papa Johns (Yorba Linda location) is reliable therefore ensuring hot/fairly warm pizza. But around dinner time, there can be a rush and when PJ delivers, pizza is already cold. Scooters uses insulated pizza bags and serves pizza within 10 mins of delivery, so I don't think this is really their fault. Our pizza was just fine. Don't let the pizza comments in other reviews deter you. Not really a big deal. Ilena and Kole were really doing everything they can to ensure our party was a success. This is a family run business so they act in sync. Ilena checked on us repeatedly, and I observed her running ragged to set up the room. Kole was just so attentive to the children and our leftover food and supplies were carefully packaged up in a cart with care. Kole carefully cut the cake (it was perfectly round afterwards) and he kept refilling drinks, pizza and fruit on the kids plates. They found out we were throwing a superhero themed party and upgraded our balloons to superhero themed balloons with characters printed on them! At the conclusion of the event, all the parents kept telling us they had a great time and asked how we found such a gem of a facility. A few wanted to recommend it to their friends. Everyone was slightly rosy cheeked (from exertion in the playroom) and tummies were full. So it was a *great* party that we felt very proud of. We will definitely include Scooters in our future birthday party rotation and would recommend without hesitation to friends and family. read more

Just hosted my son's 5th birthday here. The playroom is one large room that has a variety of activities for the kids to do and plenty of seating for the adults... * inflatable jumpers with basketball, soccer and inflatable boxing gloves * short zipline * large inflatable slide * ping pong table * air hockey * floor projection video game area * toddler area You're in the playroom area for about 90 mins and then you head into the private party room for food/cake. The thing that really stands out about this venue is the customer service. We had Narissa and Cole...and they were nothing short of easy to work with, super accomodating and great with the kids. Managing the chaos of 25 kids between the ages of 1 and 5 isn't an easy task, but they were very patient and organized. In settling out the bill, they also don't make you feel rushed and they don't try to squeeze every cent out of you.
