I had an interest in a Moto Guzzi and called the dealership for some information about one particular model. I had the pleasure of speaking with the manager Scott, who answered all of my questions and invited me to come up to Connecticut to see the motorcycle and the dealership. So I made the 2 hour drive up from New Jersey and I am so glad that I did! I first noticed how the dealership was buzzing with activity. I then noticed a brand new enclosed van (looked like maybe a Sprinter) with a ramp on the back for transport of motorcycles and scooters. Next I noticed what a beautiful facility Motoplex Fairfield has. It is brand new and stunning! When I entered I was warmly welcomed by both Scott and the owner Ryan. They are both clearly very proud of Motoplex Fairfield. I had a lot of questions about the dealership and about the brand and Ryan took the time to give me his personal history and the history of the dealership. He patiently listened to my questions and answered all of them. Then Ryan gave me a grand tour of the fantastic facility, including the pristine service area (that was undergoing expansion-a really good sign) and an introduction to the service staff. The Motoplex Fairfield service facility is state-of-the-art. It is a cliche, but you could eat off the floor. The shop reminded me of the immaculate facilities in the restricted access "back room" at Luigi Chinetti Ferrari in Greenwich Connecticut (I had the opportunity for a personal tour on a Sunday when the dealership was closed, circa 1970) that housed the Ferrari NART endurance racing cars. Then Scott spent about two hours showing me all of the features of the Moto-Guzzi. He spent a lot of time going over the specifics of a purchase and then the myriad of reasons why to make a purchase from Motoplex Fairfield. Too many to list, but I left in a euphoric state. The advantages were truly unbelievable (even a Metro North train station a few blocks away and a custom upholstery shop for seat modifications in the same block, etc.). Scott and Ryan are not only very knowledgeable about their brands but also truly wonderful human beings. If you want to find out about the dealer for yourself, I highly recommend a visit to Motoplex Fairfield!

Both were very straightforward and really nice to work with. the mechanic that worked on my bike (I believe Jim) was superb and even pointed out my Denali lights were slightly tilted up and adjusted them for me with a T square. Great guys. I was there for a quick oil change but first impressions are everything. Super clean shop and fair prices. I will be back for brakes and more routine service and such.

Specifically if the rear-facing radar system could be added as an accessory. Other dealers told me that it was not possible. Mr. Hamlin told me that yes, it should be possible but he would confirm with Moto Guzzi and get back to me. Indeed, Mr. Hamlin called me a few days later and told me that he was correct and that indeed the radar system (blind spot warning and lane change assist) could be added to the model in which I had an interest. Not every dealer would go above and beyond like Mr. Hamlin.

They had my Subaru car for over a month and a half, stringing me along, telling parts were coming…read moretomorrow. After all that time, they finally took it for a test run and said it needed a wheel hub ...they said it would be another 1K on top of already 3.3k that was already a few hundred over the estimate. In the meantime was using my backup old Ford that had gotten a flat tire...they charged me another 1.9k, $500 over what I expected to pay. To make things worse they damaged something on the truck, as when I would go backward to the right, I would feel a rubbing or grinding. Also, the steering wheel became loose and really shaky. The next day, it began to sound like the brakes were going as they began to grind, when they were hardly used and newish brakes. Going down a small incline, the breakline popped. They took no responsibility for it. I had another shop tow me and repair the damage they did. Finally, I picked up the Subaru, I drove two doors down, and the battery light went on. Now, the battery and brake lights go on as the headlights dim, and the security alarm is set off uncontrollably, not being able to turn it off or turn my car on, leaving me stranded in the Shop Right parking lot. I had to use a hack that another garage told me to do, because Classic Coach doesn't return a call an hour after I picked the car up, nor ever, not the next day. As classic ...the wheel hub still isn't fixed, but I don't want them near my car, and I'm taking it to a different garage that fixed the truck that Classic Coach broke and charged me for. On top of all this, I had to rent a car for one week. Classic coach replaced the radiator but did not put any antifreeze or coolant in the reservoir, foutunately I discovered it because I popped the hood as the car drove terribly. The male mechanics in the shop are very honest, as I had money and valuable things there that were not touched. I especially would not recommend them if you are paying out of pocket and you do not have deep, deep pockets. I dreaded dealing with a woman by the name of Lauren, who is in the office, who I found to be pushy, insensitive, and controlling ( would not let me talk to the mechanics who worked on my car, insisted that I buy road-only tires for my truck that goes off-road at times, and she exhibited other strange behavior).

They kept it another day made the corrections. The next day I went to pick it up. The engine was making noise. The mechanic came out and said it was air in the transmission lines it will work it's way out. Well it didn't. I took it to my mechanic, and they found that they did not replenish the transmission fluid and it was down 2 1/2 quarts of fluid. Then I took the van on vacation while on the road the check, engine light came on. Brought it to the neared dealership to check the code and found there was a cooling fan for the transmission not working and it's wire harness not connected. Also wires going to a computer were loose. I cannot recommend them.

I recently brought my Lexus there telling them the a/c was blowing heat and I need it fixed. They called me back to tell me that my car had a several zones that needed to be checked and that at paying them an hourly rate I'd potentially be looking at spending thousands to repair it. I was also told that because my car was older (2009) that I may not want to spend money repairing it. I was charged a diagnoses and asked to pick up my car. I brought it home and googled how to fix it myself. With spending less than $100 and less than 10 minutes of labor, I changed the cabin filter ( packed with dirt & leaves), I popped the hood and cleared where the air flow foes into the car ( packed with dirt & leaves) and put in a can of refrigerant. What do you know, my a/c now works perfectly. I brought the same Lexus to them a few weeks ago to fix a shaking coming from the front driver side that caused a light to come on the dash. They called me back to tell me that my car had 4 codes, something going on with my exhaust and as far as the front end I needed struts of which they could only find 1 at a cost of $1000. And again told my car isn't worth investing in/ charged me a $131 diagnostic fee for a incorrect diagnoses. I took it to a mechanic on State st. in New Haven who for $1000 fixed my front and threw in a oil change.. The crazy part was I DIDN'T NEED STRUTS!!!! Aside from I replaced both air filters under the hood and what do you know.. NO MORE CODES!!! I recently brought my BMW X5 there to be repaired for going into limp mode. After about 3 visits and $100's spent on they're guessing, I never got 2 miles of driving out of it. I took the truck to State St. and by my explaining the problem without the truck with me, he told me I had a bad throttle body. Less than $400 later my truck is back on the road like it never left. I brought my mothers Jeep Liberty there to repair the heat/ charged $100's and 2 weeks later she has no heat. I sent my sister there to have her Hyundai Sonata, they told her the repair cost would exceed the value of the vehicle and that she should consider buying another car. She took the car to State St. and for a fraction of what Bruneau's was charging, put in another engine and had her back on the road in a couple of days.. I've been riding with this business for years, recommending them to several people over the years and how I've been dealt with lately is unfortunate but my business and support isn't valued there. I've learned that either I'm a better mechanic than they are (I'm not a mechanic) or they put forth no effort in fixing my cars.
