I came on a Saturday night and it was packed. But they did have a table for me right away. I was warned though that service will be slow cuz it's so busy. I sat for a good 15 mins and this older grey haired waiter was helping the tables around me but he wouldn't even make eye contact with me. Then a female waitress came over and apologized for the wait and said there was a miscommunication as to who was serving my table. Would have been nice if the male waiter at least said someone would be with me and tell the waitress that her table was waiting to be helped. Anyway, since the female waitress took over everything was smooth sailing. I ordered the wood plank salmon with a house salad to start. The house salad was actually really good. Nice and fresh with a good selection of veggies including beets. The salmon was good. The sauce was a little odd, but the veggies and rice were tasty. Not sure that the quality and portion size justified the $42 price tag, I'll probably come back to try their pasta. It's an Italian place after all.

Came here with my family for a nicer dinner on a Saturday evening and there was plenty of seating. We sat outside on the patio because we brought our dog, which they very kindly accommodated. They were happy to give us a water bowl for him. Great service, very friendly servers! The actual interior of the restaurant is very much a snapshot of an older era of Boulder Creek - the inside gives a dark, antique, museum-like ambiance with lovely live piano. The bar area especially looked inviting. I got the Calamari Steak and had it with the salad. The calamari was grilled well and cut easy, and the flavor was rather plain but texture was great, which I prioritize in calamari because overcooking it can cause it to be like rubber. The vegetables felt very fresh as well. They gave my mother the incorrect dish, but when they realized this, they immediately went to make her the pasta that she originally ordered without hesitation and left her with the accidental salmon dish she was served as well. Really great customer service, overall we had a good family dinner here!

We went for a birthday dinner on Sunday 11/30. We had a wonderful experience! The service by our server, Allan, was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meals. This is not a rushed experience, there is plenty of time for conversation and to enjoy your drinks and appetizers. I love how historic the restaurant is. There was someone playing piano that evening and it was so nice. Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner.

Best atmosphere and service. Food was utterly awful, really terrible!!! Makes me so sad! The bruschetta was flavorless nothing. A absolute fail. The oysters Rockefeller were edible. Our server was very nice and my wine was tasty. Again food was less than zero.

The bartender (manager?), Filippos, recognized we had a lot of people, and proactively got us a comfortable seating area for all of us. Thank you Filippos for being so thoughtful and hospitable! And once we got seated, we had a server named Tikka, who was amazing. She made our whole night smooth and memorable. The service was above and beyond. Also, shout out to Dakota, one of the best bartenders. He was super friendly (even though it was very busy) and wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. In terms of drinks, I recommend the Vesper and So Fresh So Clean. All their drinks are exceptional. The ambiance was the most impressive part. It's very spacious and you don't feel cramped like other cocktail bars. And they have two bars that are both well-staffed, so no one is annoyed trying to order a drink. Even when it's crowded, you don't have to wait. Thank you, for all the hard work behind the scenes to create best-in-class customer service and cocktails.

It also did take a little long like 30 minutes for drinks but it was fun and the pool was warm. They brought out a pretzel that was rock hard. He then informed me at the bar to get happy hour prices I had to eat in the bar and that I could not take my happy hour food outside to the pool. The young man at that point should have informed me of the pool closing at 5 as well. I ordered. 2 tacos and grilled shrimp and it took 52min to arrive. I asked the guy bartending twice if he ordered my food. I got back to the pool. It was a few minutes after five after jumping into the pool the nice attendant informed me the pool is closed. Within easy walking distance of plenty of parking and a parking garage if you don't find anything on the street nearby . Reservations were easy to make and they had a cute light up Happy Birthday sign waiting on the table! The ambiance was dark but had great ambient lighting . I loved the green velvet booths and decor , which evoked old Hollywood glamour ! Tables were set up in way that you didn't have to maneuver around them to get to the bathroom which was roomy and clean! There was a bat and lounge area to one side and seated dining on the other , Our server Camille was amazing ! So attentive and her timing got delivering each Sri name course was on point . Birthday girl asked for suggestions a fruity house cocktail. Instead of just rattling off the fruity drinks, she asked questions to personalize a suggestion and described each drink! The food was fresh and presented nicely. One of my friends and I decided to each order the poke tacos . I loved them! Even though it was probably an appetizer is the right amount for a light meal. My friends ordered the Korean spice chicken and pan seared salmon and they both complimented their meal. I can't remember the all the names-of the drinks except for the Miami Vice the birthday girl ordered . We also got her one that was served lit on fire ! I w myself was happy that they served Ballast Point Sculpin on draft! The lava cake was served with strawberries and delicious! The birthday girl even got a bowl of ice cream, a candle and huge sparkler to hold while we sang happy birthday . I debated rating on my 4 stars for the noise level , but honestly , I can't fault the restaurant for parties having fun . It's a testament to venue excellence! One table though seamed to communicate in hysterical screams every time they had a new drink served. Great place for groups, drinks and easy reservations! My friend used OpenTable) . Will definitely return.

This is a review for their weekday Bar & Lounge Happy Hour (Tue - Thu 5pm - 10pm... yes, you read…read morethat right... all night Happy Hour). After our first visit last night, I think it's safe to say it is probably the best Happy Hour offering in the SF South Bay. Good quality, good value, great service and nice club/lounge ambiance. Here's what we shared food-wise... * HH Garlic Noodles -- This didn't quite meet my expectation. Described as a "perfectly cooked pasta tossed in rich garlic butter", what we got was more like a soft udon type noodle with a rather starchy garlic sauce. The taste was definitely very garlicky, but the dish could have been much better with an al dente pasta tossed in an actual garlic butter or olive oil. * HH Wagyu Smash Burger -- This was yum! Great flavor, nicely grilled served on a toasted soft brioche bun. ($15 on HH versus $32 witha side of fries on the Dinner Menu :o) * HH Hamachi Crudo -- This was superb! Fresh generous slices of yellowtail topped with sliced lemon, jalapeno, tobiko and microgreens, perfectly matched with Ponzu sauce. ($12 on HH for 4 pieces versus $23 for 5 pieces on the Dinner menu) * HH Crab Cakes -- 2 medium sized blue crab cakes with diced mango and spicy aioli. Pretty decent for $14. * HH Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- Good standard fare. For drinks, we enjoyed... * HH Weather Pinot Noir -- Our server, Mikayla, said it was her favorite wine on the HH menu. It was very nice. * HH Mango Deck -- Reposado, Jalapeno syrup, lime and mango puree with a 151 rum flambee. Great drink if you like sweet, sour and spicy... and it comes with a show as the 151 rum is lit. Will definitely return. Would love to try the HH Grand Seafood Tower with oysters, yellowtail and salmon sashimi, shrimp and lobster ($65 on HH) which we saw another table order. Looks like a great place for a larger party celebration too.

They messed up on the first pair of drinks we ordered, but comped our second set of cocktails which they made ten times better. We really appreciated this.
