Within easy walking distance of plenty of parking and a parking garage if you don't find anything on the street nearby . Reservations were easy to make and they had a cute light up Happy Birthday sign waiting on the table! The ambiance was dark but had great ambient lighting . I loved the green velvet booths and decor , which evoked old Hollywood glamour ! Tables were set up in way that you didn't have to maneuver around them to get to the bathroom which was roomy and clean! There was a bat and lounge area to one side and seated dining on the other , Our server Camille was amazing ! So attentive and her timing got delivering each Sri name course was on point . Birthday girl asked for suggestions a fruity house cocktail. Instead of just rattling off the fruity drinks, she asked questions to personalize a suggestion and described each drink! The food was fresh and presented nicely. One of my friends and I decided to each order the poke tacos . I loved them! Even though it was probably an appetizer is the right amount for a light meal. My friends ordered the Korean spice chicken and pan seared salmon and they both complimented their meal. I can't remember the all the names-of the drinks except for the Miami Vice the birthday girl ordered . We also got her one that was served lit on fire ! I w myself was happy that they served Ballast Point Sculpin on draft! The lava cake was served with strawberries and delicious! The birthday girl even got a bowl of ice cream, a candle and huge sparkler to hold while we sang happy birthday . After our first visit last night, I think it's safe to say it is probably the best Happy Hour offering in the SF South Bay. Good quality, good value, great service and nice club/lounge ambiance. Here's what we shared food-wise... * HH Garlic Noodles -- This didn't quite meet my expectation. Described as a "perfectly cooked pasta tossed in rich garlic butter", what we got was more like a soft udon type noodle with a rather starchy garlic sauce. The taste was definitely very garlicky, but the dish could have been much better with an al dente pasta tossed in an actual garlic butter or olive oil. * HH Wagyu Smash Burger -- This was yum! Great flavor, nicely grilled served on a toasted soft brioche bun. ($15 on HH versus $32 witha side of fries on the Dinner Menu :o) * HH Hamachi Crudo -- This was superb! Fresh generous slices of yellowtail topped with sliced lemon, jalapeno, tobiko and microgreens, perfectly matched with Ponzu sauce. ($12 on HH for 4 pieces versus $23 for 5 pieces on the Dinner menu) * HH Crab Cakes -- 2 medium sized blue crab cakes with diced mango and spicy aioli. Pretty decent for $14. * HH Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- Good standard fare. For drinks, we enjoyed... * HH Weather Pinot Noir -- Our server, Mikayla, said it was her favorite wine on the HH menu. It was very nice. * HH Mango Deck -- Reposado, Jalapeno syrup, lime and mango puree with a 151 rum flambee. The Wagyu beef sliders were tender and seasoned really well. They're fun to eat and make for a good shareable option. The chilled oysters were also surprisingly fresh and refreshing. The portions were pretty good on this dish as well 3. Mac and cheese truffle bites - these were huge! I was expecting them to be as small as top golf's balls are haha but it comes with 3 huge balls. The pasta noodle itself was cooked to perfection, al dente and not super mushy. I was pleasantly impressed with this one and it came with the same green aioli sauce 4. Tomahawk steak - $7 each, honestly this is a confusing one. I was expecting steak bites similar to how a regular carne asada taco is, but it came in one huge chunk of meat, which wasn't even the best quality or cooked well. I ordered oysters fries and a mocktail (mid) I tried my friends gnocchi which was yummy since I'm typically not a fan. The ceviche tostadas I would get those are yummy! The garlic noodles looked mid. They tasted just ok. I really like the vibe here. Service has never been a problem other than people's food not arriving on time all together. I am disappointed I didn't get a picture but I did get a video of their table side tomahawk... and let me tell you it was a show and something you need to experience. Cooked to perfection and tender with so much flavor! If you want to see the video I have it... hit me up :) We also wanted to be somewhat healthy and ordered a side of broccolini which was al dente and had a nice coat of salt for taste. The beet salad was also a touch of crispness. We ended the night with the tray of deserts and the bread pudding was by far the winner. All the others were good but the bread pudding was the star! Extensive happy hour menu (see pic). We ordered several dishes and all were quite good. I ordered the Whiskey and Wagyu Elevated Duo ($16) which was one Wagyu slider with an Old Fashioned drink. The drink was nice and classy, and full strength! Nice. The slider, honestly, I couldn't tell whether it was Wagyu or not - once you grind beef and cook it, whatever quality the Wagyu brings as a cut of beef is lost in the process. But it was still a good slider. We also had Brussels sprouts, tasty and allowed us to feel we were eating some veggies. The crab cakes were on the smaller side, but delicious. The garlic noodles I wasn't expecting a lot from, but were just as good as all the other dishes. Finally, the lava cake was done just right. Perfect cook, nice sweetness, the only flaw being that there wasn't enough ice cream to go with the cake. Service was efficient and friendly, the place is decorated classily and it wasn't excessively noisy. It's great to have a Happy Hour that lasts so long, and the trade off between only having it limited days but for extended hours is a fair one. So all in all, a very nice meal and cocktails. My husband and I have visited Wild Rose before but the service we received tonight is exceptional, thanks to Giancarlo. Not only did he suggest to delay the main dish so we can savor the apps, he also offered to serve a single pasta dish split between my husband and me. Food is delicious here! The place is very spacious with bar seating and booth seating. The place was dim and they have little lamps at the table which made it more intimate. The seared scallops were cooked to perfection where it wasn't too rubbery and had a lot of flavor. The sauce that came with the scallops paired pretty well also. Our baked oysters took awhile to come out and our server had to go check to see what the delay was. When our oysters came out, I was surprise how small they were. They reminded me of Kumamoto oysters. My wife only eats baked oysters and doesn't like oysters much but she really enjoyed it. The oysters were good but for the size, I would rather have them raw than baked. Overall, our experience was a good one. We really appreciate our server for being attentive and checking up on us. The price is pretty steep for the portions so we would be back if we are in the area. We will try the entrees next time when we are around the area. Shout-out to our favorite server, Will! I've been to Wild Rose a few times now, and every visit has been amazing. The vibe here is dark, classy, and totally Instagram-worthy. The service today was exceptional--Will was so kind and even surprised my kids with a complimentary ice cream sundae, which made their night! As for the food, everything we've tried has been delicious. Their bone marrow is an absolute must (my personal favorite), and we also loved the calamari, Brussels sprouts, hamachi crudo, ribeye, wagyu slider, garlic noodles, and waygu smash burger. Visited last night with two friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. We were seated in a booth right near the door and told that the happy birthday neon sign would be coming to the table when it was available. Since none of us had dined there before this was a new experience. It did arrive shortly and then our waiter stopped by the table. He did not acknowledge that there was a birthday celebration. When asked about nightly specials, he said that they were on the specials menu (that we had not received). We ordered drinks and an appetizer and all were good. We ordered a salad to share and they pre-split it on three plates, which was appreciated. Halfway through the salad course one dinner arrived. Several minutes later a second arrived. And then we waited more minutes and had to ask where the third dinner was. Although all the meals were delicious, the service was extremely lacking. And the noise level was unbelievably high, especially given the noisy booth next to us. When it came time for dessert, the waiter gave us the dessert menu and never mentioned the special birthday dessert (he still hadn't acknowledged that we were even there to celebrate a birthday despite the neon sign on the table). Therefore, we just ordered off the menu and did not receive the sparkler in the dessert that other tables had when celebrating a birthday. The topper was when the check came. He showed me the bill on his device and it included two additional desserts that were not ordered. And a charge for the birthday dessert that we did order. He removed the two extra desserts that were not ordered and said that the only birthday dessert that was free was the ice cream sundae, which was never offered to us. For this dinner reservation for 5, we got sat at the same booth during our first time here. The intent of this visit was to sample the newish 40 oz Tomahawk Steak offering. Started with apps such as half a dozen Royal Miyagi Oysters from the raw bar, Fried Calamari, Wagyu Sliders and Truffle Fries. Props to the oyster presentation and sauces. It made these six half shelled mollusks taste better. For cocktails, we got the Summa' Time, Miami Vice, Fig'n Around and the fiery presented Mango Deck. These summer themed drinks were all refreshing and kick worthy. Now for tonight's pièce de résistance, the Tomahawk (a 1.1 Kg certified angus bone-in steak) paired with crispy brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes topped with rosemary cuttings and roasted candied garlic for a sweet, aromatic finish. The presentation was special compared to our other tomahawk dinners before. The part owner (forgot his name) did the torch searing show and persuaded me to do a pathetic version of Salt Bae's elbow salt sprinkle, while the executive chef sliced the meat and Antonio (with the striped shirt) served us the succulent meats and savory sides. We ended our dinner with the Crème Brûlée (another torched dish) and White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Both delicious and unnecessary :). They're pretty busy on a Thursday night for both happy hour and dinner. Service was friendly. Their "Elevated Duos" at $16 were pretty good deals. I ordered the steak taco with paloma and my husband had the old fashioned with wagyu slider. We both enjoyed our selections. The drinks were nice and quite strong, and my taco had two generous pieces of steak with a delicious sauce. We ordered 3 other curated bites off their happy hour menu as well. Their crab cakes were crispy and not oily. They tasted good with the non-spicy aioli. I still preferred non-deep-fried crab cakes, though. The brussel sprouts were yummy and a little on the sweeter side, no bitterness at all. The garlic noodle was perfectly cooked. It was warm, rich, creamy and very flavorful. We also ordered the decadent chocolate lava cake from the dessert menu; a perfect ending to our meal. However, I had to deduct one star because of the followings: 1. When they seated us at the high table in the lounge, they're missing 1 chair. So, they pulled a bar stool, which was too high, from the bar for me, saying that they would swap my chair with one at the proper height when it became available. We were seated oddly at different heights for a while, and none of the chairs near us were freed up even after our drinks arrived. Fortunately, another staff member checked in with us, and found a proper chair from the back. Not sure why they didn't find that chair before our reservation time, nor offered us seats at the bar instead. Maybe the front of the house was just inexperienced. 2. While we enjoyed the lively vibe at the restaurant, it was just too loud. In order to have a conversation, we had to either lean forward or repeat ourselves a lot. 3. It would be better if they had brought us the spoons for our dessert separately instead of leaving them on top of the dessert itself. We ended up having chocolate sauce all over our hands while picking up the spoons. :-( We would still like to come back and try other items on their menu. Updating my review based on my recent visit at Wild Rose! Special shoutout to Cynthia for being such a down-to-earth and sweetest server thus far! It was my second time and my friend's first time here. She made great recommendations and it didn't disappoint! For drinks, we got a mango deck (smokey), Miami vice (like), lime & leaf, and honey bear. Oyster rockefeller -- baked garlicky goodness! Poké tuna tacos -- just ok. Kinda fishy for me. Citrus scallops -- perfectly cooked and filling. Korean fried chicken -- nice crispy chicken with garlic noodles! Honestly worth it! This place is such a fun spot to catch up with friends and/or celebrate an occasion. I can't wait to come back! read more

I will definitely be back here! We drove over an hour and a half away to try this place, I have been seeing it all over TikTok. When we arrived it was around 4:50pm and they don't open until 5 so we waited outside until the doors open. Right when we walked in the staff was very welcoming and accommodating, our waitress was amazing! Customer service here is a 10. We immediately noticed the decor, it was very aesthetically pleasing. After reviewing the menu, I ordered a drink recommended by our waitress which was very good, then my husband ordered an old fashion that was presented on fire. Very fun, but he also ordered the 40 for 40 which is not worth the price, we thought it was going to come on fire or with something cool but it didn't, it came with chocolate and oranges. I do not recommend. Now for the food, the Rockefeller oysters 8/10 Fried shrimp 9/10 Salmon mash and asparagus 8/10 Garlic noodles and steak 7.5/10 The garlic noodles were a little too sweet but overall good. Came to try because I was attracted by the great review. It was Saturday night. I definitely recommend making reservation. The whole place was fully packed. It's such a fun and loud place. It's a great place for celebration. The food here is ok. I liked the seafood tower a lot. Portion was great and price is comparable to other places. Other dishes was so so. Spicy seafood pasta wasn't spicy. Crème brûlée was cold inside under the sugar layer. Bread pudding was great. read more

Great happy hour spot with a fun, elevated vibe. Came here on a Tuesday night and it was surprisingly empty which was a little weird but we didn't mind the intimacy.  We got a bunch of different apps and they were all good. Some better than others and nothing too amazing but all still very tasty.  The seasonal cocktails were fantastic, with creative mixes that hit just right. Service was attentive, and the interior had a classy lounge feel with dim lighting and comfortable seating. Happy hour prices made everything feel like a steal compared to similar spots. Long overdue on this review. Such a cute little spot. Had reservations here for a farewell celebration. It was a little disorganized when part of our party came early and had some changes made before the rest of the party arrived. We got drinks, truffle fries, calamari, garlic noodles, wings, oysters, ceviche, poke, sliders, and hamachi. When it came to the bill, there is a large party fee included since we were a party of ten. The mango deck and the all food were all tasty. read more
