I didn't get a good bunionectomy from him and need to redo the surgery. When I wanted to see the doctor about this right after the surgery, the wanted $ for the appointment. I regret choosing him for this particular procedure. He specifically told me my toe would be straight, and he didn't correct it one bit. Surgery that did nothing. read more

Well, it's been perhaps 25 years or so since Dr Scott Forman fused my ankle after unsuccessful attempts at a total ankle replacement. It's been 25 years or so since Dr Scott Forman fused my ankle that I've been in chronic pain. Dr Scott Forman did not do a decent job at the 2 total ankle replacements but also totally screwed up the fusion leaving my ankle deformed. I had to revert to seeing a Dr at Kerlan Jobe to straighten my ankle/foot. Stay away from Dr Scott Forman. read more

Yes, it was a problem with the foot he did and would' nt correct the problem, that I was in the office for. But apparently, this doctor thought he did it right? I was displease with the job and felt it was not done to par and did nt think what he did was good. It seems that there is already another review that was similar with not getting her needs met either. I would not have any surgery from him, but seems as though other peoples issues have worked out so. it could of been a mishap and seems to be more common today. read more

I am giving this guy five stars because he fixed my Mom's foot after multiple doctors misdiagnosed her and gave the wrong treatment. She was in very little pain and now the problem is solved. I looked at Linda C's other reviews on Dr. Forman since she wrote such a scathing one on him and I find it interesting that all surgeons get poor reviews from her while she gives good reviews to cannabis dispensaries and places offering colon cleansing. Dr. Forman is absolutely amazing! He operated on my foot at 7:30 AM and I was back at home by 10:30 AM. Prior to the surgery Dr. Forman personally went over all expectations following my surgery. In addition he called me later that evening at home to inquire about how I was feeling and ask if I had any questions or concerns. I tore my ACL playing volleyball. Immediately following I went to Dr. Forman to diagnose my injury and later perform surgery. Throughout the entire process he made everything seem like a breeze. The surgery was quick and I was out in time for lunch. His staff called me several times in the days following surgery to make sure I was doing ok. Dr. Forman was always friendly and extremely helpful during visits, I enjoyed going. I am now 1 year post op and the knee feels great. It all began with plantar fasciitis. I went to Dr. Forman after spending 6 months seeing a podiatrist, physical therapist, neurologist, and another orthopedist. They took a new set of x-rays and Dr. Forman gave me a thorough examination. He diagnosed chronic plantar fasciitis with a possible tear and gave me 2 treatment options. I selected one and 2 months later I am almost completely healed. He indicated I was doing great and the healing would continue for several more months. I am so happy I ended up with Dr. Forman. I just had foot surgery yesterday with Doctor Forman He performed a very similar surgery on my right foot yesterday my left. I can't say enough about this absolutely fabulous man. He is kind and the consummate professional. Highly recommend him. He is an ankle and foot specialist. He may do surgery in other orthopedic needs so just ask if you call there but his partners are there as well so I know together they treat. Shoulders knees etc. I must also comment on his surgery center at 22 corporate plaza in Newport. The staff there is unbelievable. DR FORMAN IS AMAZING! My 15 year old daughter tore her ACL playing soccer. Dr Forman did her ACL reconstruction surgery on New Years EVE 2013! We chose to do a cadaver ACL ligament and PRP therapy. She was up immediately, with CPM, & ice therapy, and her care was outstanding! She is now 42 days out of surgery, riding a bike, and strengthening! I LOVE Dr. Forman. We first met, as a 2nd opinion, on my son's separated shoulder from football...and never looked back. He's an expert in his field, is funny and very approachable, and gives the time you need to get all your questions answered. After my son's injury I began seeing him for a very painful torn tendon in my elbow. I'm just so sad that, because of an insurance change, we will have to move on to another orthopedic doc. Dr. Forman performed a bunionectomy on my right foot 6 weeks ago and it looks and feels amazing. I am a 22 yr old female that by genetics was born with "fan" feet, as Forman calls it, and was in pain that eventually got so bad I had to get the surgery. I was a little nervous but the procedure went smoothly and afterwards my foot was numb until the next day and the pain medicine kept me feeling great, just sleeping a lot! After 3 days I went back into his office to get my foot unwrapped and checked on. When they unwrapped the bandage I'll admit I was very wozzy and could barely keep it together. When I saw the incision I was shocked at the length and how horrible it looked but I trusted Forman knew what he was doing. I started physical therapy right away and was able to get it moving and start walking in no time! Now it's been six weeks and I feel almost 100% and my foot looks incredible! Once it's completely healed it will look like a paper cut! I can't wait to start wearing "sassy shoes" and not be in pain. read more

Dr. Foreman is simply amazing. He kept me going in the 90's and up until 2005 at which time I change insurance. He still does not take it and I have to go to a practice down the street, which does not even closely match the professional staff here. Dr. Forman did two different foot surgeries (yes on two different feet) and kept my shoulders and elbows in check during Master's Swimming. Thank you Dr. Forman. I was so upset that I broke my toe and it ended up being a hammertoe. I waited a year before surgery hoping that it would get better. I finally had surgery in April of 2016.
