Got a sampler and tried a few flavs. They do cheese pizza well. Nice thin pie w chewable crust and balance cheese to sauce ratio. Gotta love the pepperoni w the small peps that curl up so lovely to catch extra parm and pepper flakes. However the square thicker slice took the tastebuds prize for the box. Maybe it was the crispy edges or the chew/bite texture along w pools of sauce that only a chunkier piece could provide. I always pick Scottie's as their pizza also heats up so nicely next day in the airfryer or oven! We usually get the bread sticks and a couple slices to enjoy while there. The margherita pizza had a great balance of tangy tomato sauce, fresh basil, and melty cheese on a chewy, well-baked crust. You can tell they really care about their dough and ingredients. The space has that cozy neighborhood-pizza-spot feel, and the staff was friendly and efficient even while it was busy. We got two 10" take out pizzas to bring home and both were fantastic. It's a small spot with only a few small tables so your best bet is getting it to go if you have more than two people. They also have pizza by the slice, nice! The Frankie P was awesome and something different. I loved the sesame seed crust and the subtle lemon flavor in the ricotta. Ordered the Delfino pizza today for the first time, and it came out a little wet in the middle. An employee came out to tell us personally that it was cooked that way and would be remaking it. He let us have the end slices of the first pizza while we waited. I appreciate that Scottie's stand by their quality. Was walking around the neighborhood when we stumbled upon Scottie's. A slice of pepperoni pizza was $6. The pizza was thin yet crispy and the pepperoni reminded me of Prince Street Pizza. Definitely considered one of the better pizzas I had. read more

These are some of the better pizza slices in Portland. 4.5 stars I started with a couple of classics. #1 and the Defino. They were covered in fresh basil, which I enjoyed. Staff were friendly. First off, this space is very small but the smell of delicious pizza and the glorious array of different slices is utterly distracting. The crust is crispy and the flavors are unreal. Everyone working there was really kind and patient as we were dazzled by the fancy kinds of pie. Worth the cost (which is steeper in comparison to some) for a slice but for the whole pie it seemed really reasonable, especially with how freaking good it is. Will definitely be back! Popped in on a glorious Saturday while strolling through the roses in Ladds additions. I have to say A+ on creativity for the variety here. This was by far some of the tastiest pizza I've ever had. My wife and I were quickly in and on our way after a few slices of pizza on the sidewalk and observing a few of Portland's characters. Didn't love the 20% fee added on as a walk up as others have noted. No complaints on the quality but 3 slices of pizza for $21 felt a bit rich even if it was really good slices!! read more

The No. 1 was very unique but simple, perfectly made and great cheesiness. They add exactly how much basil should be on a pizza, not too little. Staff was nice, they were busy and my food took a bit longer, but they offered something for free as a courtesy. Will definitely go back soon. Grabbed some slices to try out and they're both very good! Love the super thin crust and how crispy it got when they reheated the pie. We tried the Burrata and the Delfino and both great. The tomato base was flavorful and the burrata cheese went very well with it. The Delfino got extra crunch from being a square pie. Totally would be down to go back. First, not only are slices expensive, they tack on 20% gratuity. Which we all hate, and this particular location is mostly take out so you are not really getting any service. Second, the hours. What kind of Pizza place ISN'T open Sundays. You know, football? And of course, their hours are subject to change. Which they do. I was hosting an event this weekend. Called 2 days in advance to ask if they delivered or worked with DoorDash or what. The kid who answered the phone didn't have a clue so I suggested he check with someone who did. He checked with a manager and said yes, they do DoorDash. So I went ahead and placed an order there more than 24 hours in advance. 20 minutes after the food was supposed to arrive, I got a message saying they had cancelled the order. Apparently they turn Door Dash off if they get busy. OK, cool, whatever, except they had this order well before they got busy. If you aren't capable of managing working with a company like that, then don't. Whatever you do, don't screw over your customers in the process. I don't want to be dicking around in the middle of hosting an event trying to find someone who does know how to manage their business so I can feed people an hour past when I wanted to. read more

It was probably the best pizza dough we've had in Portland. It is a sourdough and charred and just so delicious. 20% service fee is mandatory so tip is not needed. I recently made a quick trip to Portland and my literal first stop after touching down was Scottie's Pizza Parlor. That was a GREAT choice on my part as it was the warmest welcome to the city I could imagine. I showed up intending to purchase slices only to find out that this location no longer serves those. That was a great excuse for me to purchase a whole pizza, so, success. Scottie's staff were kind enough to fit me in as a walk-in when they were already going full force on pre-ordered pizzas. The cherry on top was that the amazing woman who rang me up had lived in LA for a while and chatted with me about her time there, how Scottie's pizza came to be, and recommendations for things like coffee. I really really enjoyed grabbing my food and would recommend anyone go there! I got the Suprema pizza and it was FIRE. The combination of New Mexico meets Brooklyn really worked in creating this masterpiece. The earthiness of the mushrooms really set off the savory pepperoni and the spicy green chili was so well balanced with the subtle sweetness of the sauce. The crust was chewy in the best way possible and was the perfect vehicle for all those toppings. I got the herby dip as well and that REALLY set it off. Random discovery to 5 star rating all in one afternoon. My husband and I were wandering around on a walk and decided to grab boba at Boba Milk when BAM we realized this gem of a pizza place was next door. We were supposed to be good and go home to eat leftovers but honestly once I read the menu at Scottie's, I knew we couldn't go home empty handed. We were really torn about which pizza to get and we eventually went for the burrata pizza because let's be real, who says not to burrata?! We placed an online order during our boba adventure and just grabbed it once we had our teas. This is definitely a grab and go type of place; there are two tiny benches outside that you could chow down on quickly but not a sit down and lounge/take your time kind of set up. Of course, we couldn't wait to try the pizza so we hunkered down on those benches and went at it. The pizza itself was delicious, great crust, suuuuch a healthy dollop of burrata on each slice, and the brightest red sauce ever. The whole pizza was a delight and I look forward to whatever pizza I try from here next! The pizzas are quite large but even so I do have to say they carry a hefty price so be aware of that before you swing by~ Parking is on the street but shouldn't be a problem if you are just coming by to grab and pizza and leave. read more
