I wanted simple and old school fried corn dog and tots and this placed delivered. The fry sauce was simple and delicious. The servers were spunky and the place made me feel like I was in college and I loved it. Do try their slushies if you get a chance. I haven't tried their milkshakes but I will be back to try them.

I consider myself a cheeseburger connoisseur and Scott's Dairy Freeze makes a great burger!!! I love the classic cheeseburger with everything on it paired with a root beer float. If you dine-in they'll top off your root beer for you! :)

    Double Cheeseburger with no tomatoes.

Ordered 1 malt shake, 2 double cheeseburgers, large fry and a cheeseburger kids meal. Everything was really good but paid over $42 for the bundle. Would go back for the burgers and fries but probably skip the shakes. *fry sauce goes really good with the cheeseburgers but it is an additional 75 cents per side.

An authentic burger joint in the middle of North End! We stopped by here on the way home from Snoqualmie. The burgers were really reasonable, the waffle fries were well seasoned, and the onion rings were crispy without being greasy. We got 1 bacon cheeseburger, 1 double bacon cheeseburger, 1 hamburger, and 1 double cheeseburger. All burgers come with shredded lettuce, pickles, tomato, sauce, & relish on a sesame seed bun. The burgers were well seasoned, the bacon was crispy, and pickles were crunchy. We also got my baby a grilled cheese and it was cooked to perfection! Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. The bread was also huge! They also had free refills on drinks which is very rare nowadays! Lastly, they had a ton of different flavors of milkshakes, malts and avalanches which is soft serve with toppings. We were too full to try any desserts but lots of other customers had milkshakes. The workers were also very polite and friendly. The cashier asked every customer how their day was and even asked how old my baby was. It was very homey feelings. We would definitely come back for not only the burgers but to try out the shakes!

Randomly came across this cute diner while exploring North Bend. It was completely packed and the wait was very long at 3pm on memorial day - which is expected. Seemed that a lot of the crowd was people who just finished hikes and families that just finished sports. Loved all the flavor options for floats, freezes, and shakes. Got a strawberry freeze with ice cream (called a glacier i think) and it was exactly what I was wanting. The fries and burger were pretty solid! Lots of dogs (including mine) were all in the outdoor seating

My friends and I came back from hiking up a mountain out east, so after we finished the whole hike we got really hungry. Scott's Dairy Freeze came up while searching on Google Maps so we decided to come here. The place itself is pretty small, having a few indoor tables and outdoor tables. Service was average, mostly a bunch of teenagers working the front. The items on the menu included different options of burgers, lots of side options, and many desserts that is implied in the "Dairy Freeze" part of their name. I ordered the Bacon Jalapeno burger. It's what I expected out of any burger, nothing special but definitely hit the spot right after coming back from a long hike. I also wanted something cold since it was warm out that day, so I was curious about getting the Avalanche. The employee told me it was similar to a McFlurry, so that was about my expectation. I thought it be would a little "cooler" since it's from an independent local-owned restaurant, but the avalanche was a bit of a let-down. I ordered the Reese's Avalanche, but it was straight up just vanilla ice cream topped with bits of Reese's Cup chocolate. I thought it would have been finely mixed, but it was just boring. All well. I wouldn't go out of my way from Seattle to come here (like most people), but it's convenient if you're in the area or a decent place to go after a hike. But I think I rather drive further back west and find something to eat in Issaquah.

IDK why this place has 3.5 stars!? We stumbled upon this diner after doing the Santa Train and everything was SO good. I love a neighborhood burger diner. We ordered a double cheeseburger, the bison chili and fries and two cones to share. The cheeseburger was SO good and cooked perfectly (I'm a well done girl). It was overall friendly service and good food and small town vibes.

We stopped here after a hike, and it was exactly what we needed after a morning trek. The burgers were juicy, the fries and onion rings were nice and crispy, and the milkshake was delicious and thick. Service was pretty fast for a Saturday morning with other hikers clearly coming in for a bite. Super cute and retro inside; we ended up taking our food to go but very very cute!!!

This a great place to grab lunch. The jalapeno burger is fantastic. The watermelon slushie is sweet and tasty. They also have a kid menu as well. There is outdoor and indoor seating available. The bathrooms are out back. They also have a breakfast sandwich available weekdays only. They accept cash and care here. The food was super, and we will be back.

rain, sun, snow or anything in between out near the pass. you do a hike and head west on i90. take the north bend exit and join a bunch of others at scott's where the milkshake flavors are plentiful, the fries, onion rings and tots are perfect post hike food and the burgers will make you smile. this may be my new east side pit stop. you can sit inside or out and you'll find something that'll satisfy your cravings here.

A lot of the plate dishes that you order will probably be boxed up from the buffet. There are also quite a few burgers on the menu. I have not tried the burgers, but I tried a few items from the buffet, and the taste of everything was very good. There was a lack of vegetarian options, though there were several chicken dishes, but only shahi paneer and matar paneer for the vegetarians. They said that some days they also make dal. There was also some veg soup choices in the buffet. The chicken tikka masala tasted like the chicken tikka had been made in the tandoor and it tasted good. The chicken malai tikka was also pretty decent, even though heavy on the cream. I liked the basmati zeera rice and the raita. The shahi paneer was good but the matar paneer was too red and weird although the taste wasn't bad. The salad vegetables seemed like they had been sitting out all day and were all wilted. I would not eat the raw vegetables. The gulab jamun in buffet was ok but a little dense. The chai was tasty but totally cold. I was there at 5:30 PM so it was off peak time so that may be the reason. I ordered a samosa chaat. The samosas were good and hot, but chutneys left a lot to be desired. The green chutney tasted more like pesto, and the tamarind chutney tasted completely off. The yogurt was decent. The chole (chickpea curry) that came on the samosa chart was quite spicy and more like a curry rather than a chaat item. I would avoid the chat items at this place until they improve the taste of their chutneys. There are only two guys in the restaurant they are doing everything from cooking to cleaning to being the servers and cashiers. They are very friendly, but very busy, so you may not get attention if you need water or something else to be served to.you. The owner Jassy needs to hire more people if he wants this restaurant to provide proper service! It is a pretty big space so it has a lot of potential, if they can improve on the service and the atmosphere. Overall, I am giving it four stars, because a place like this was needed in North Bend, and the taste of their buffet was pretty good. However, they need to improve some aspects for this place to flourish.

Leaps and bounds better than it used to be. The whole time I was there I was comparing every item to Scott's Dairy Freeze, who is clearly Herfys biggest competition. So how did they fair? First, Scott's always has a line on hot days, sometimes a very long one and you'll be waiting for 15-20 minutes to order. There was no line and we ordered right away. They had a wide selection of burgers and I got the bacon sourdough burger with fries and onion rings and a Blackberry milkshake. The burger was great, especially for the price. It was too saucy, but otherwise no complaints. All told, it was MUCH better than the burgers I get from Scott which taste ok but also feel like a heart attack going down. Herfys burger for the win! However, Herfy's fries were mediocre. They were McDonald's style, which I'm not a fan of. Scott's has battered fries that are fantastic. Scott's fries blow Herfy's out of the water. Onion rings though go back to Herfy's. They are panko breaded and crunchy. Not much seasoning, but solid. I would have loved a little seasoning on it, but even so, these were far better than what Scott's has to offer. Finally, the milkshake. This is what Scott's is famous for, but I gotta say, I enjoyed my blackberry milkshake from Herfy's just as much as the milkshakes I order from Scott's. Im surprised by this, but I think it's a tie. Herfys may even squeak by with a win because Scotts does a terrible job of mixing in their flavors or malt (it's always a clump at the bottom for me). I will absolutely go here again. Hopefully they read this review and change their fries though. If Herfy's can match Scott's fries in quality, and can keep their buns from getting soggy, then Herfy's would hands down be the superior choice to Scott's.
