Comes on a sesame bun unless otherwise noted. I really enjoyed the toppings. Fresh and plentiful with tomatoes, pickles, lettuce and their special sauce. AKA a thousand island style sauce. The burger itself had a good chargrilled flavor. My only complaint is that it seemed a bit cold. But for $10, definitely a good deal! The onion rings were good. Hot and tasty. The spiral French fries were just ok. The side ranch was good and I really enjoyed the garlic aioli. Friendly service and chill vibes. A nice outdoor area with two tables and small lawn. If we lived closer, we'd be here far more often given how much we all enjoy great burgers. My favorite here is the Sweet Rain Burger: bacon, cheddar cheese, avocado, fig jam, lettuce, tomato, pickle, red onion, garlic aioli, house dressing. The ratio of bun to filling is correct and all of the ingredients are high quality. It just hits the spot and I'll get a single patty if I need a light snack vs. 2 doubles for a proper meal. The ambiance is a little quirky given whatever this building was used for before they moved in, but it's clean. Tables, kitchen area (what's visible), bathrooms, kiosk, soda machine, etc. And there's a fair number of tables despite most folks I know doing take-out here. Service is excellent. The prices aren't going to be the cheapest in town, but this is a classic mom and pop shop vs. a more at-scale corporate franchise or similar. Important to support local businesses. read more

A bit expensive for what you get. And some of the pricing is ridiculous. I was charged an additional $2 for getting my burger lettuce wrapped! And they didn't even disclose that before I paid, nor does it say that on the menu. The amount of fries they give you is also a bit surprising, less than a handful for each. I got the aloha burger and my sister got the kids grilled cheese. It was $40 for that and 3 sodas. $4.50 for a large fountain drink here. Will not be coming back. First of all, we are very supportive of our local neighborhood businesses and wish them all success. However, Sunday night we ordered take-out and came home with two cheeseburgers costing $22! As the website menu online stated - all burgers come with fries. Not anymore! Fries are now $3 extra. The business is "unclaimed" so I called and talked to the order person who said 2 months ago they changed the menu. OK - then, update your onsite menu! Burgers were a thin piece of hamburger but loads of lettuce, pickles and sauce, plus a thin slice of tomato and a few onions. They no longer have curly fries or fried mushrooms, but they do have sweet potato fries, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Better burgers at better prices elsewhere. read more

This place is actually really solid considering the place that it's situated in doesn't look like a burger joint. It looks like it used to be some kind of old building that was converted to have a kitchen. I think it's the blinds that they have that also exceedingly make it look like some kind of weird office building that's been turned into a burger joint. So I never was interested in trying it because it looked so out of place. But I live so close that I couldn't put it off anymore and especially because it smelled so good. I was home sick and tired and I'm currently without a car so I decided to walk across the street to go get a burger and get fries and a marshmallow milkshake. The milkshake was delicious. The marshmallow flavor wasn't overpowering or too sweet. The fries were some of the best fries that I have had at a place. They were very similar in flavor and texture to Dairy Queen fries but I'd say actually better than Dairy Queen fries. The burger as you can see in the picture has very fresh ingredients, usually lettuce can make or break a sandwich or burger but everything was lovely. The service was about average for most burger joints, but definitely would go here over going to McDonald's or Jack-in-the-Box. I think because it has such a lack of customer engagement and since it's so isolated, that's why I've taken a star off because it's not very comfortable, but the food is very good. read more

A little hole in the wall fast food american joint tucked in a dead plaza in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Great fries were the highlight, very hot, fresh and crispy. Shakes seem to be popular (although did not try), and burgers seem to be their main thing. Portion size for price needs improve though. Burgers come alone without fries, cheapest around $10-12, running to around $22 for a double. For that price I'd rather to Red Robin where they come with bottomless fries. I decided to order clam 'n' chips, which was $12 for a small ($17 for a large). Fries as a side here cost $4, which means that the clams here are worth $8. I would say this is about $2 retail worth, max, of clams - it was barely a handful, hidden by the box mostly filled by fries, which was very disappointing. A lot of the small pieces were actually just batter, so the amount of protein as a whole were probabaly literally like 2 pieces of clams which is absolutely not enough for a meal, even for a "small." Service however was pretty fast, and food again was fresh. Not super busy but seemed like they had a few to-go orders. read more

I've lived in the area for over a decade and have noticed a significant increase in quality of food and service at this place. Most recently, we've tried the Korean fried chicken. It's honestly a hidden gem and really tasty. This means no need to go to Lynnwood or Federal Way to get decent chicken anymore! Super authentic and highly recommend. There's a young Caucasian man with shoulder length hair and he is not very professional. In fact he's not professional at all. The amount of attitude I saw was really something else. I don't know a single local restaurant that would have the audacity to be rude because 11 people came in to eat and didn't call before coming. Again, just terrible attitude in general. The way he speaks to people. Throwing our food on the counter with attitude. We literally came from the church across the street for food and milkshakes. Our presence was so frustrating for this employee that I don't know if I'd come back. I genuinely hope management or the owners read these reviews. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. It's unnecessary and will ruin your business. I just want to say again that the food is great. The parking lot is great too. There is no shortage of parking. We also tried the curly fries, which were exactly how we expected them to be. They could've been a little crispier, but we still liked them. Overall, this is a pretty good spot for a quick and casual burger in the neighborhood. Located in the Newport Hills neighborhood, it's among the handful of older businesses around this area. When I visited on a Saturday afternoon the place was busy. Many of the tables were taken by large parties and the place only filled soon after I arrived. A lot of families were here, as it seemed to be THE neighborhood lunch spot! They even have a framed picture of a local soccer league on the wall that a few youth soccer players who were dining in had recognized and pointed at. Gotta love local businesses like this. I ordered a cheeseburger, small fries and a small milkshake with chocolate and marshmallow. The food took a bit to get, as there were three other parties ahead of me. The menu features a lot of basic and specialty burgers and more, like a chicken strips basket, sandwiches and ice cream sundaes. It's on the pricier side for a casual burger spot, but the burgers are large and you can tell, are made fresh. For my entire order it was about $16, but I left feeling full. The cheeseburger had a nice grilled taste to it with melted cheese on the patty. I liked it. I just wish that it had much less of the shredded iceberg lettuce on it since there was so much of it. I ended up taking a lot of the lettuce off, so I could really sink my teeth in the burger. There's a secret sauce on here, that is similar to fry sauce, but not as ketchup-y. Still good though! They also gave me a side of the secret sauce with my fries, even though I asked for ranch. Yet the fries were good. They were perfectly crispy but with a soft texture. Milkshake tasted like a classic milkshake; I tasted more of the marshmallow than the chocolate. Overall, Cloud 9 Burgers is a great spot, especially for Newport Hills. Cloud 9 has been a favorite locally owned fast food burger spot since they opened, but we hadn't been back for a while so ordered our favs for take out. The Sweet Rain burger and sweet potato fries are my go to's. I order them every time we go to Cloud 9 and they were just as good tonight as they were the first time I had them. And of course, their fry sauce-so good. Cloud 9 is offering drive through pick up, but it tends to get backed up, so I picked up my take out inside and it felt Covid safe. And because its a small family business and they have a small staff, it may take a while for your order to be ready during these crazy times, but its worth the wait No inside dining yet, but there is a park nearby, or just treat it like an old fashioned burger drive in and eat in your car read more

I've had the classic, the double and (accidentally once ordered) the double with bacon. The beef patty is the best part of the burger, I can never finish the burger (any size) on my own. When I've gotten the double (both with and without the bacon), I've split it in half with my partner. Even when I get the classic I can't finish it. If you're looking for an authentic, greasy but fresh burger, then this is your place. I placed my order online and it gave an hour wait time, I received a text about 15 mins later saying my order was ready to be picked up. My boyfriend went and picked up the order. I'm always skeptical of ordering fried stuff for pick up because it is usually doesn't taste as good. I was pleasantly surprised that the fries were still crispy and the onion rings were crunch upon arrival. We only live 10 mins away from this place. My boyfriend said they made the fries fresh when he picked up our order. I ordered the Aloha Burger, it was a little messy because it was smothered in teriyaki sauce, but that makes it good burger right? The 1/3 patty was a good size, took up almost the entire bun. This burger was good, it was just what we were looking for, a little greasy, a little saucy, a little fresh. My boyfriend is always hungry, I blame us really high metabolism.
